So i got kicked out because of this "nasty Google review" not allowed there anymore ? but its fine could've just pulled of to the side and talked about it i would've erased my comment but since gonna be like this then ill express what really goes on here, my comment aint gonna hurt his business since they get commercial loads which they even hardly inspect just throw it in weight it and boom paycheck, they are very linient to trades since they come in with bulks of scrap from their field as for people who bring in random pieces of scrap they are subjected to thorough inspection of their material to bring down the price they frown on having to check its valuable as opposed to simple one material bulk. Good thing I found another scrap yard close by with competetive high paying prices that caters to the common scraping joe moe. People bring in pots and pans and basically anything oh and they take ferrous material as well. I took some of the same material as the picture not with a thin layer of glue but with liquid nails still stuck on there and they took it in as clean!! Complementary fountain drink on the paying booth too. So if u are not in the traits go check out Houston metals i believe thats what is called, its about 15min from there. So this is the comment i got single out for. And I won't be petty lower the stars because I respect ur prices and some of the hard working crew u got there but some of the be snotty to the common joe, one told me nah i aint looking thru that. A bin of different materials i was trying to sell. Changed my mind about this place, very picky, yes they will pay top dollar but it better be spotless, one screw, a little bit of caulk or paint, or just the glue that held it together and they will slash your price in half so before u come here make sure your metal has been throughly washed with shampoo and conditioner if you expect top dollar.

The service is the best I ever had. They actually took there time to make sure I got the best bang for my buck

Open on Saturdays. They offload for you. Very polite. Usually fast paced. Limited parking.

First time for me to do business with this scrap yard. Main reason I did was the live prices on their website. It cuts out all the BS I had a good load, and figured I would be there awhile. Those guys pulled together and had me unloaded and the material across the scales in probably 20 minutes. Thanks again!!

The team here is very helpful, honest and fair. They greeted me in the parking lot with a cold bottle of water. That means a lot on a hot Houston day.

Generally consistent experience of getting more $ than I was expecting. People are friendly and they are significantly faster than most places, so I definitely recommend giving them a shot to sell your scrap.

Pulled up and they immediately started unloading my truck for me and offered me cold water. Scale is in view so you can see the weights for yourself. After looking around the Houston area I found this yard to be the best paying for copper around. Great service, friendly people, will be back again!

Exceptional service and best prices around! The team was fast, friendly, and clearly experienced. They met us right outside our vehicle with dollies ready and offered cold water bottles — which was a thoughtful touch on a hot day. Hardworking and genuinely kind guys. I called around for prices and then found Astro on the Google. They have a website with up to date pricing! Awesome thing to have as I haven’t found anyone that does this. They had the highest price for copper by a lot compared to 3 other places I called. Staff was super friendly. They unloaded my truck and they put it on the scale. Prob 4 different guys offered me a bottle of water for the whole maybe 6 minutes I waited. Highly recommend and will be going back when I round up more wire.

As a woman, I usually feel very uncomfortable going to places like this by myself. My husband wasn’t able to go with me this time, however they made me feel very Welcome and comfortable. When I pulled in the parking lot there was a man that told me where to park and as soon as I parked, he walked up to me and brought me a cold, bottled water and asked if it was my first time. I said yes, and he then began to explain the process to me. It is extremely well ran, very efficient and they’re very honest. I did not feel uncomfortable whatsoever during my visit. We will be going there from now on.

Very clean. Everyone very courteous. As soon as u got there a person came out with bottled water. Marcos and his crew did not allow me to do anything. Great fast service with friendly gentleman. Couple guys came straight to our car as we pulled up ready to help unload, brought us cold water and was very honest with weighing our material. This is the first place me and my husband have been to that we've had the best experience and with honest people. If it's far just know its worth the drive cause we live 40min away and I'm so glad we made the drive.

I had an amazing experience! Their service is really great. Upon arrival, they immediately acknowledged us and offered help right away. Since it was hot outside, we were even given water bottles while we waited. The service was incredibly fast, and every staff member was super nice and friendly. The prices are also really good! As it was our first time, we were surprised with a gift bag containing a notepad, pen, sticky notes, and a multi-use tool—such a thoughtful touch! Definitely a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend!

Astro City is amazing. 1st impressions, best scrap yard I've ever been to. Workers greeted me and offered us a bottle of water. Helped me unload my scrap wire onto their carts and they did the rest. Everyone was very respectful and polite. Moral was very high with all of the workers. My Apprentice told me about this place and this is where I will be coming to from now on. Very impressed with the gift bag they give you when its your 1st time there. Thank you for all that y'all do.

This was my first time coming here. I usually go by where I live near Victoria. This place did not disappoint. They helped offload everything from my vehicle, offered me bottle water and gave me a pretty cool first time customer gift. It was definitely worth the drive as I would have made only about half or a quarter of what I was paid by my old scrap place I used to go to. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back as a repeat customer. Special shout out to I can’t remember his name ,but he had my favorite team on his hard hat…….. ??⭐️?? How bout dem Cowboyz

Astro City gave me top dollar. I called three other large scrap yards, and Astro City beat them by 40 cents a pound. They even unloaded my truck and sorted out the metals. Top notch service.

I recycled 50 brass backflow preventers. Staff were friendly and efficient. Accurate scales. The overall experience and amount paid was worth the drive in from Spring.
