However, Miguel went above and beyond to get the job done quickly and efficiently. The quality of the work was outstanding, and my car looks as good as new. Well I thought I would attempt to change a CAM Shaft sensor myself on my sweet 09' Chevy Avalanche, and I would absolutely never recommend you do that yourself unless you're a professional like the Guys over at TEXAS BEST. The Tow came recommended and they got that broken sensor that was stuck in my engine right out and replaced quick fast and I was rolling out of there in no time at all. My Avalanche is running better than when i bought it 25,000 miles ago. It's a brand new Truck! Thanks again to Miguel and his crew. He's honest and his labor prices are the fairest in Spring Branch.
The mechanics here do great work! I have taken my vehicles here for service for many years. Oil changes, brakes service, engine repair, diagnostics, they do it all.
They occasionally will have cars for sale so if you're looking to buy your teenager their first car but you want to make sure a mechanic has looked it over first, this might be the place.
Miguel and his team are professional and trust worthy. I took my car in for a 100k mile service. He never tried to pressure me into doing things that aren’t necessary now. He sent pictures and explanations as he serviced my vehicle, so that I was fully informed every step of the way. He is a good family man, and I never felt like I was being taken advantage for being a woman with a lack of knowledge. Can’t recommend them enough!

When I say Miguel went above and beyond that doesn’t even begin to describe my experience. He did exactly what he said he was gonna do and then some. He helped me navigate the insurance claims process and got me my car back way faster than I thought given I had to pay out of pocket for my rental. Not only did he make it look better than it did before but they polished, cleaned the engine and detailed it. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else after this. I’m a manager so my expectations are extremely high and he exceeded them for sure!
Hands down the best experience with a mechanic shop. No one likes to go to a mechanic,
it means spending money…but if you have to go, go here! He helped us with everything we needed and saved us money!

WOW! Where really even to start with this review! I will start with saying don't believe the hype. And lukes can be deceiving. This local neighborhood garage located on Long point between just passed Witte road, is a diamond in the rough, contrary to what it looks like from the street that this business has a lot of work ahead of itself and is not able to keep up is not true, this is a man that loves doing what he does for a living and purchase his cars to fix them up and sell them, this young man is an entrepreneur of the automobile industry, and will take on any automobile challenge from putting air in your tire, fixing any engine or air conditioning needs and body work. Mr Miguel and his crew will tackle any Auto challenge, can't is not in this man's vocabulary. I had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman at a local watering hole after his business hours and the gentleman was very friendly and professional even off duty, I approached him with a issue I had and he asked me to bring it in during working hours and he would look at it, not knowing he had intentions of giving me a free estimate which was awesome. Has anyone would do I did my due diligence and shopped around for two more offer for two more estimates. Yeah then I became very skeptical of how this gentleman could do this job everybody else quoted so much for so little, does I gave him the chance anyway it was warrantied and guaranteed why not? After the work was done I was 150% satisfied with the work done, not only did he do it for less, he estimated 6 hours for the job and did it in three, any other shop would have still charged the 6 hours and charge for unneeded items, that I was quoted in two of his competitors pricing. Needless to say that one of his competitors overpriced me and parts for my vehicle costing a additional $1,200, I was sticker shocked when I got my ending Bill from Miguel... Of what my final payment was. I was not charged for any extra hours nor was I charged for any extra parts!!! Miguel has absolutely taken every doubt of ever had about car maintenance and mechanics he can be trusted for his word he is a no-nonsense type man when it comes to business and his customers. Not to say he won't joke around with you he has a keen and dry sense of humor but do yourself a favor. If you have any doubts about taking your car to the mechanic doubt no longer and take it to Miguel at Texas Best Auto.. not only does he get the job done right, and add a very reasonable price, this man appreciates your business and his employees!!!?

Miguel is the best! My AC repair was quick, he kept me informed during the entire process, and gave me a good price! What’s better than that?? Moving forward, him and his team will be the only ones under my hood! Trusted mechanics are hard to come by- I’m glad some do still exist.
I know it doesn’t stand out when you drive past but THIS IS THE ONLY place I trust. Miguel will tell it to you straight. Every time. I’ve lived here for 11 years. Miguel is the man to take your car to. Trust me. As a woman- auto shops love to see what they can get away with. He has saved us so many times I don’t know if he even knows what a blessing he is.
Took my grandson’s truck in. It was shaking a lot and the tire was leaning. Miguel’s team put new parts in at a very reasonable price. Changed tire and grandson felt like he was driving a new truck because of how smooth it ran. Amazing service at a very fair price.

Miguel and his team are the best. I rolled up with a beat up car from the 90s and didn’t have much hope it would pass inspection. Miguel was really helpful and explained exactly what work needed to be done to get me back on the road. If my car ever has an issue or needs service, I will come here.

Is had pretty significant front end damage from an auto accident on my truck. Also had damage on a rare quarter panel.

Miguel has become my family mechanic and now services all the cars in our household, from paint & body to mechanical and more. Even services that are out of his scope he has allowed us to bring our vehicles in and he will take them to one of his third party connections (ie: Tires & Rims etc.) In my opinion there's nothing he can't do and for an affordable price. He has proven over time to be a solid businessman and I even enjoy our small talks while I wait on my car repair. He offers a quick turnaround so we are rarely left long without transportation. When it comes to all facets of auto repair I now rest easy knowing Miguel and his team will take care of us affordably and in a timely fashion which used to be a huge stress for us.

I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Miguel's business on Thursday via google. I was told my car needed at least $1250 in 1 of more than 8 major repairs at a business in The Heights. Miguel not only told me to bring the car that day, but showed me exactly what needed to be done, immediately for less than $100! I plan on taking my car back for all my repairs as Miguel let me know I need additional work done as well, but I can wait until I close on my mortgage. He is knowledgeable, kind, and super helpful. He and his staff are top notch!!!
After several visits to three auto repair shops I finally found a great shop in the Spring Branch area. Texas Best Auto is conveniently located on Long Point off Gessner. I called the shop spoke with Miguel discussed the issues and he convinced me that he could get the job done. Miguel diagnosed the problem gave me the details and repaired my vehicle. Miguel's office is a super cool man cave love the decor. This is an awesome shop with excellent service and fair prices! I would highly recommend Texas Best Auto Repair.
Tricky problem with an oil leak in a Dodge Diesel. Where other shops failed to correct the issue or quoted ridiculous prices, Texas Best Auto fixed it quickly at reasonable cost. 500 miles later and no more oil slicks every where I park.
Never received my title. Haven't heard back from them. My registration expires soon. Plus, ymthe price they sell these things should more closely resemble the price paid at the cop auction than KBB
