Please be extremely careful if you come here. After making a payment at this storage facility, I experienced multiple unauthorized charges on my credit card within 2–3 days. This was the only place I had used my card recently, and the timing was not a coincidence. Their card reader appears to be highly insecure, and my card information was clearly compromised shortly after the transaction. It has caused a huge inconvenience and required time with my bank to dispute everything. If you must deal with this place, use cash only. If your card has already been charged fraudulently, contact your bank immediately and file a police report. I hope this review helps others avoid going through the same experience.

This is the worst towing company in Houston. I have had my car towed once before and never experienced the unprofessional, rudeness, disrespectful, and no class employees in my life! I called to inquire about my vehicle and each time before I can ask the next question they hung up in my face. I finally called back both times and was able to get one of my questions answered which were... 1. What is the address of the location 2. What forms of payment did they take and could payment be split.. never got to ask this one because I was hung up on for the second time! Got to the place, the guy is very sassy!!! When a customer is speaking calmly and is not being rude to the employee, there is no need for the employee to be rude! It almost seems as though he is trying to provoke you to get out of character. I just told him... you know what, God bless you! I asked him did he need anything else from me, he said, "Did I ask for anything from you!" I didn't hear the instructions on how to go and retrieve my vehicle from the lot, but I told him I will figure it out. I did not want to speak to him anymore. It is just ridiculous how disrespectful they are!!!!!!!!! This place is a total Money grab!!! They do everything in their power not to let you retrieve your vehicle so that they can add additional charges to your account. My apartment complex even called on my behalf and told them that they would drop the apartment fee of the tow. The man was very upset with the apartment manager! If you have to go to this low class establishment, please say a prayer and remain calm. If I could give zero stars I would!!!

I had a good experience, not the best but not bad. If your car is towed here, it’s not up to Mid West Storage why it was towed there or who/what company towed it…. I came here to take my vehicle back after a rollover collision. Thankfully, they let me into the yard to access my vehicle, I removed the spark plugs and cranked the engine to remove the oil since it was rolled over and on its side. I was in the yard around 45 minutes. When I was ready to try to run the engine, an employee arrived and greeted me, telling me to stop what I was doing and that it’s “against policy” to work on a vehicle. I understand their position, but at the same time, I’m trying to see if my property is OK, and if it’s even worth it for me to get it back from them. I only wish that they would be more understanding; the vehicle is totaled, and they would have gotten much less at auction for the vehicle. But more than that, I’m not trying to “get over” on them or scam them in any way, just trying to see if MY engine will run. Unfortunately, they couldn’t see my position.

I spoke with Faye, guy is a smart ass. I’m asking questions and this dude getting sassy. My car was in an approved & authorized zone, so it really shouldn’t have been towed!… it’s been towed once before from another tow service and I never had this problem… I completely understand employees having to stick to policy but I’ve also done customer service answering phones and answering questions and the profession in which these guys handle themselves is poor. I could see if I called cussing and angry about my car being towed but someone speaking calmly to you trying to figure out their situation with your service… come on

I m a nurse. I parked infront of my patient house at townhouse and they just towed my car in 15min and the HOA called them and explained the situation and they said they won’t charge me full amount. But when I got there. The lady at cashier was so rude and mean and saying no we charge you full amount $300 for 15minutes they towed my car. You paid or you won’t have your car back. That reallly rude and mean and unfair. Even my patient went there with me and she just ignored her and not help at all. All they wanna is sucking money from others. Even you are working as healthcare who try to help patients and I not even violate any thing when I parked infront of my patient house. There is no sign said I can’t park there. I will look into file complain on this.

Over $621 and it was there for a week and that's just crazy. Straight up legal robbery They should not have towed it in the first place

The smart asses behind the counter have an amusing time harassing customers for everything and anything to the point even the person from a tow company had paper work issues? These are professional people. They deserve all the karma that goes their way. The good reviews are just the mechanics that work in the area who all are joint in with this location they sit there and mock customers. Because they know they’ll make more money off us. Why are tow companies moving faster to places of incident and impact than the police? I call 911 I go to voice mail!

Customer service is so so bad. Honestly if they don’t like their job they should find a new one. No one forces them to work there and treat people bad.The front window people are very rude and always have attitude. I get there asking for information about getting my car back and they looked at me like I’m dumb. It was my first time getting my car towed so I didn’t know the process.

I have been here several times. For myself and for friends. I have not encountered a kind staff member yet. Maybe they're being yelled at all day and are just over it but they could definitely used some empathy training. Having your car towed isnt fun for anyone but the employees here seem to enjoy other peoples mishaps.

one of the worst places. called ahead to ask if we can pick up items from our car and was told we can at any time. after driving 70+ mins, get to facility in broad daylight at 7pm and was told we cannot get anything and to come back during working hours. rep was unhelpful and unreasonable. literally allowed a person right before us to go back with no issue. 0/10 facility and houston should not be using a company like this that tries its best to scam people who already have to deal with a car accident.

So yea I had to come back and get my car, they said I can’t leave with it if it won’t start I called the cops and guess who had their car, the boss or whatever got scared and hurried and had someone more the car that was in front of my car with a fork lift when he told me I can’t leave with it if it won’t start after already giving him 500+ to get my car out. JUST CALL THE COPS IF YOU FEEL THEY TRYING TO GET OVER ON YOU. Read their prices and calculate that shii. One more thing. THEY GO IN YOUR CAR!!!

very poor customer service! the experience was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional experience. Despite presenting official documentation providing that we were the authorized person on the vehicle, one of the staffs outright refused to release the vehicle out of the storage lot. instead of calmly discussing the matter of offering a reasonable explanation, he became rude, hostile and even threatened to call the police. His behavior is unacceptable!

These people are criminals, they need to be treated as such, they partner with American Wrecker Towing Company and charge every towed car a ridiculous amount of fees! Our government should not allow this company to screw public like this! They rubbed $548 from my pocket today!!

These tow truck and auto storage is the worst I’ve come across. 1. They’ll charge a ridiculous price 2. They’ll charge 10% extra for card payment. 3. In case you don’t find the car in lot they won’t help or say where’s is it. You’ll have to waste your time and if needed to be towed tow truck guy time. 4. Customer service lol it’s a joke for them.

I had my car towed to this location last week. I called prior to picking it up to ask the price. The gentleman told me it would be $300. I asked if I could use a card and he said "OH sure, but it's going to be a $17.50 processing fee!" I opted out of that! I get there to pick up my car, with a single 100 bill and the rest were $20's . The girl told me "That'll be $299" so I gave her my money. We sat there looking at each other for what seemed like an eternity and she says "I don't have the dollar to give you back!" Like WHAT!! Do you do this to everyone!?!? That's a scam! Why not tell ppl on the phone thar you don't carry change? I know it ONLY $1 but it was MY dollar! If this is done 20x a day, that's $100 per wk, $400 per month, $4,800 per yr! Absolutely disgusting!!!

These people are entitled, illegally towing a pregnant woman’s vehicle to make money is crazy. Also, they only allowed her to walk inside the lot to get her vehicle in the pouring rain, mind you she’s 7 months pregnant. TDLR is aware of this storage facility.

I’ve already had my vehicle towed twice and other people and my family got their car towed as well. This is the worst tow truck/auto storage ever. They are very unprofessional and put dents and scratches and my bumpers is about to fall off by them, pulling it

My car was illegally towed here. The towing has nothing to do with this company, and the ladies I spoke with at the window weren’t rude. But, not one car on this lot had a tarp over it and all 4 of my windows were down! Yoh better believe t they still charged the impoundment fee for “securing” my car that was not secured!

I went there to participate in the car auction. My feelings are that the staff was involved in manipulating the car auction. I was told that the auction would start at 9 a.m., and it actually started well before 9 am. Damaged and low value cars were presented, and good cars initially shown in the list were missing from the auction. The authorities really need to keep an eye on the staff of this car storage site.

If there were an option for a zero star, that’s what would have given them. They illegally towed my car and charged me $346 for less than 12 hours. The guy was the rudest and the most disrespectful person I’m ever met in my entire existence. I’m absolutely positive they will not be in business for much longer.

I will be reporting this facility to Attorney General Ken Paxton. They are involved in an illegal and corrupt arrangement with apartment complexes, unlawfully towing vehicles and charging $350 for their release. The staff at this facility were exceedingly rude, discriminatory, and verbally abusive towards me and my family. They even required us to present a passport to verify our immigration status! This behavior must end; it is widely known that tow trucks and storage facilities often engage in dishonest practices, and authorities seem indifferent to the issue.

Obviously this storage place wasn't my first choice. It was brought here after my accident. Staff is rude, impatient and unprofessional. Cars are not well cared for here either. Office staff has no problem yelling at elderly or children. Children are not allowed in however no signs are visible that indicate as such. I cannot express how stressful it has been since my car accident only to have someone belittle me as if it weren't enough.

Everyone was very helpful in helping locate my vehicle in the yard and getting it out for me. The gentleman at the counter and the tow truck driver were very helpful in finding solutions for me even if some safety related policies had to prevent me from getting the vehicle out the traditional ways. Being that my vehicle is a hybrid, they kept finding ways to help me get the vehicle out. Thanks guys.

These are exactly the same thieves who destroyed other people's property. They towed my car twice and paid 600usd to get the car back when I arrived and found out they had taken things from my car. What they did was illegal. legal

I was in an accident towed there. When I grabbed all of my belongings, not once did they say say that I had to give consent for another company to haul it away. Now, I have a drive there to give consent for the insurance to claim the wreck. When I asked to speak to the manager, she rudely that he was unavailable, and all I heard was a dial tone. RUDE

My truck was brought in by a tow truck after a front end collision on Saturday…. Come on Wednesday to find truck in the back of the lot, very hard to find. When I did find it the plastic drivers truck bed side was completely gone. When I confronted the lady at the front desk about what happened, a large man with an excessive amount of gold jewelry came at me aggressively, saying he did it, he has cameras there is no manager..explicit off.. besides being very aggressive, I do believe him to be a danger to society and should not be allowed around places where people gather… sometimes crazy is obvious

The owners and employees are AWESOME!! I'd reccomend them if you ever get into an accident and need it towed. Fast and friendly people. Thanks again!
