This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
Based on recent reviews, Tow-Ops Wrecker Service in Houston, TX earns an overall 84/100. Sentiment skews positive: many praise professional, careful drivers, quick arrivals, and fair, transparent pricing. Customer service and vehicle handling are frequently highlighted. However, recurring complaints cite long waits/no-shows via insurance dispatch, spotty communication, and one serious dispute over access to a towed car. Themes about inventory variety, yard organization, or parts-finding aren’t covered, so we can’t assess those. Overall, fast and courteous for most, but reliability through insurers seems inconsistent.
What clients say about Tow-Ops Wrecker Service in Houston (TX)
Great experience with this tow company. They were very professional, arrived quickly and handled my vehicle with care. They also took the time to answer all my questions, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend their services!
I got stuck in some mud after some heavy rain, I put in a work order with my insurance company road side assistance. They have connected me with Tow-ops Wreacker service to come help me. The estimate wait in houston near down town was 75-105 mins. I was getting notifications of a shorter Estimate of arrival at the 57-87 mins, then 12-42 mins. Once the time had expired, I had attempted to contact this company a few times, no answer. I called back to my insurance road side, they made a attempt to call this tow company, no response. The insurance company apologized and had connected me to someone different. I see in these reviews they have a history of screwing over people who dont do business with them directly.
If you read this Tow- ops Towing..please opt out of doing business with insurance companies if this how you do business. Its obvious that its a pattern. You have multiple 5 star reviews, is it special treatment for those customers who contact you directly?

My insurance called them for a tow. I was quoted 75-105 minutes 2.5 hours ago. No response to calls from me, the agent calls and they ask me to wait another 20-60 minutes. How about no? Thanks for wasting two hours of my life. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

These people picked up my car from an accident where I was ran off the road. I was in severe distress and was unable to obtain the information or photos I needed to file my insurance claim. They are currently refusing to allow me access to my car to retrieve photos or anything of value from my car. These people are scammers and if I could give zero stars I would
