Hung was amazing. My ac wasnt blowing cold, within 15 minutes they knew what was wrong and they fixed it and i was out of there. Im new to the area so its amazing to find a good auto shop! Cant find nice mechanics like these guys nowadays. Will forever come back to this place!!!!
Mr. Hung is literally the best! I’ve bought 4 vehicles to him in the span on 10 years, and he’s always been easy to work with. He’s not only very honest, but he explains things to me so I can understand what happened. 10/10 would recommend to any of my family and friends.
After 30 years Hyung’s true colors came out. First he misdiagnosed the evap canister on my wife’s suv, Hyung said if engine light comes back on, come back I’ll refund $200, no mention of switching replaced part back. Engine light came back on, I took off from work again to go back over there, he wanted to switch the old part back and keep $95. Hyung started to throw a temper tantrum like a small child, he threw my wife’s original part across the shop into a box, and stormed into his office, at his brother’s advice. So for $95 I got misdiagnosed, then puts old part back on in 5 minutes, said it took an hour and a half to do, did it in 5 minutes. How many other people are charged for several hours at shop rate $56 dollars an hour or more, and it only take a few minutes to install. Fuqua Auto Repair are thieves, dishonest, and give a bad name to the good, honest mechanics. I’ll never go back, and never recommend anybody to go there…,??????????
Very customer friendly, goes out of their way to reassure you and check everything in the fastest manner I've ever experienced at any repair shop. At first they told me it would take 3 hours but when I said I may have to find a ride, they went ahead and looked at my car right away and it all ended up taking less than 30 minutes. Fast service, feels reliable, and trustworthy with honesty (they showed me the underside of my car and walked me through what they found and what to look for). Highly recommend this place.
Only had a diagnostic done here, but Mr. H did a quick job, and gave me a discount on his usual diagnostic fee. Gave me a free air freshener for my car too :)
Update: lowering this to 3 stars. I learned today that the diagnostic the mechanics gave me was incorrect. I didn’t have an engine leak at all, it was just old residual oil that was dripping.
I stopped in with my engine light on. First time there and reviews were good. I showed him test done at AutoZone saying I needed a solenoid.
He checked the oil and asked when I had it done. Wasn’t sure. So he reset and cleared the engine light. Said go get the oil changed, and drive few days see if light comes back on, that could be the problem. He was exactly right!!!!! He could have easily just quoted a price for solenoid and did the job. I’m an old gramma. I will definitely be back if need a mechanic. Thank you for such kind honest service.
They went above and beyond here. They were accommodating because I didn't have a way home, so they checked as fast as they could. A cylinder was messed up, so they replaced it and even helped me with minor issues on my car. I'm so extremely grateful for these guys. I'm gonna recommend them to everyone I meet here in Houston!
I came in for a belt replacement on my 2007 Honda Accord. I recently moved to the area and it is absolutely hard finding a truthful, patient and genuine repairman, especially when you have a much older vehicle. Many blessings to this shop! Thank you!
I came for help about a warning light in my car and spoke to Hung. He was knowledgeable and honest. He took the time to listen, investigate the issue and clearly advised me on the next step. Based on this positive experience, I would recommend this shop and will return for any future care repairs.
If I could give 10 ? I would! Hoang was extremely personable, friendly, and went to great lengths to get my car running again. I had tried to work on it myself and had removed steering column(I thought problem was ignition). He put it back together for me before I could even ask. The cost of fixing was only a fraction of what I expected. They are truly wonderful and plan on coming to them whenever I have a problem. Thank you again!

Very professional hard working people. Fixed my problems in a timely manner. Very honest and saved me some money. Thought I had a transmission issue but they looked at it and found out it was a ignition coil on my 2012 Nissan rogue. Great customer service and great communication. I will be returning. If you want to save some money and actually get your problem fixed I highly recommend this place. ?
Hung and this shop are a nice relief when dealing with something so important as your transportaion. I have used them twice and will continue to do so. Previously I had an issue with my AC not cooling. Other shops I had called didnt instill confidence in me with the issue. When I called Hung, they said bring it in and we'll look at it. It was summer time and they understood it was needed ASAP. They looked at it that day, told me theyd orderer the parts and to bring it back first thing in the morning. I dropped it off on my way to work, and got a call a couple hours later saying it was ready.The cost was also much less than other shops estimated.
Today, my wifes Durango was having hesitation issues to the point of being undrivable. I called the shop first thing this morning. They told me to come in and theyd look at it. As I pulled up a mechanic walks out, plugs his computer up, tells me the issue, and then less than an hour later I was pulling away with a perfectly working vehicle. These guys are honest, very good prices, and get the job done. Anytime I need work done Hung will be my first call. They are excellent.
I had a recurring problem with my vehicle's AC system that that I was unable to have correctly fixed elsewhere. Fuqua Professional Auto Repair was more thorough in conducting their assessment to identify the problems, and called to give me a quote before proceeding with the repairs. Very impressed and I will be back again.

Soo my car literally turned off while on 45. I thought the battery was dead and had a friend tow me here. Asked for a diagnosis and learned that the water pump failed so the engine turned off — to prevent the engine from over heating. The prognosis was a new water pump.
The quote and turnaround time sounded reasonable to me, so I left my car for pick up time the following day.

I lost power steering while on I45 had my car towed, because it is a 5 minute walk from my house. My serpentine belt had broke. I got it to them at 12 noon and they had it done by 3:30. I paid less than 100 bucks plus they topped of my brake fluid. I'll be going back to them for future repairs if needed.
I had my car towed here thanks to an overheating engine due to a hemorrhaging water pump 40 miles from my "home mechanic" that we've used for 2 generations and 40 years and a 15 mile limit on my roadside assistance free towing.
These guys not only do good, honest work at fair if not bargain prices, but they do it quickly with no BS and on time. I dropped it off at about 9:30, and got a call with a diagnosis and price about an hour later. I was told it should be done by 2, and that estimate was spot on. I walked to the movie theater and saw Uncut Gems, which was really good, a lot better than Punch Drunk Love, and got back right at 2, when it was coming back from the post-repair test drive.
When diagnosing the problem, they're thorough in their explanation of the issue, and offer multiple options for parts when available. They also warn of any potential extra issues they might find while fixing the first and bring in the potentially necessary parts in case, but only do what needs to be done.
They're genuinely good people, and we spent a solid 10-20 minutes talking about fishing when I picked up the car.

Very reasonable and honest repairs. I've been going to them for over a decade now and they have always delivered. I really respect the fact that they are able to give me different price options based on OEM or non-OEM parts. They tend to air on the side of caution and are fine when I go the more affordable route. I've fixed 4 of my cars now.
A/C on the fritz for 2 years. Took my car to 4 different mechanics and finally made my way back to Fuqua Professionals. They diagnosed & fixed the problem in 6 hours, and were $150 less than a previous quote. We've used them for 10 plus years and they have always fixed the issue the first time, charging less than anyone else. They open at 9 or you can slide the key under the door with your info.
