Make sure you opt out of the warranty and you tell them… they’ll just add it on to EVERY part/piece you buy. They said they’re not allowed to tell you they’re adding it. You’re supposed to notice it on the screen because it automatically adds it to every item you buy. Make sure you look at the screen and tell them no warranty. Even for plastic or rubber items. BS..
This place has deteriorated in customer service although the outside has a new appearance. They say they offer to pull the part well let tell you about the experience I had today. They sold me a bad battery and although I used my credit card to pay they refused to exchange the battery without the receipt. This is very inconvenient & unprofessional the way they operate the outside. They had me in line for the longest time when the only question was will I need the actual receipt and after 25 mins they told me they would need it. Which it's their bad battery and they mark it. I went to the same person who was so unprofessional it was a shame. He said he needed the receipt even tho he remembered me going just 2 hours prior. This place has people going in and out that are suppose to be working to help but they only send you to go sit or wait in another line. I shouldn't have to go through none of that to verify my purchase when I used my credit card. That is ridiculous. I don't appreciate the attitudes of the females working outside they acted so tired like their job was literally so back breaking when they chose the job. It's not the customers fault if they are being over worked and under paid but today we paid the ultimate price wasting time and gas going back and forth. I wouldn't trust their batteries but now we are stuck with one that's bad until we switch it. This will be the 3rd time going to this raggedy place today. I wouldn't waste my time going here unless you have absolutely no other choice. They have a window fix place there that does a amazing job which is the only reason they earned any stars at all. I definitely won't be coming to get anymore of their broken busted up batteries.
ERICA WAS AMAZING!!! I searched the LKQ website and went to Northville first and then ended up in Wallisville trying to find a part for a mercedes E-350 which was showing up in pictures, to my surprise the parts were not available and I ended up walking back to the front when I saw an E-350 that was marked "done" but behind the fences! I went up and respectfully asked Erica and she asked me to talk to Mr.AD who was kind enough to let me just go and pull off a mirror housing since the car was marked done and was scheduled to be put out the next day. Honestly, I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and willingness to help out. It took me 1 hour to drive to Northville and then about 20ish minutes to come to Wallisville. If it weren't for their kindness and understanding I would have been walking out in vain upset that despite searching keenly I ended up not finding a part. But in my situation that wasn't the case and the willingness to work with me really meant alot to me! Again, once again Erica was amazing and my big thanks to Mr.AD and Viviana for their kindness and willingness to help me through the process!
My experience here was good. Happened to have an issue with my brother tossing his wrist band from a different location. When I told the cashier about the issue, the manager over heard and told her to give my brother a wrist band as I showed proof of purchase from my bank account and everything got squared away.
Definitely felt better going to this facility than the SW one.
Just be aware that you have to be 16+ to get in. We drove all the way out with some family and once we got there they asked for their ages and we told them. They said that they could sit up their with them… the kids were 15
Don't use the "we now pull parts" service, at least on big parts. Tried to use the service on buying a transmission, was told it would be ready the following week. Got a call the following week that it ended up getting sold to someone else. The front counter people claimed that they were told by the parts removers that they were not been able to remove it, yet someone else was able to. Front counter people were easy to deal with, no issues with them, but it's costing me more time and money now having to search for another transmission. Wish I would've just pulled it myself like I usually do.
I would give it 0 but know that you will be charged for everything they can think of off one thing, granted the stuff is not going back to the original car and will be trash otherwise.
EXAMPLE:
I brought a passenger seat to the front manual, on a 39.99 special.
She comes to me with the seat, headrest, and seat belt, tensioner, with pretentioner (which is built in the seat). $100, add warranty to each. 🤯

I've been using Pick your part for almost forty years and now , all of a sudden, I find the prices are no better than paying any other salvage yard for the same part except I'm doing all the work pulling it . No longer is there a basic price list for the type of part I need. I see no savings in using Pick Your Part for my go to salvage yard so I will refrain from going there . What a shame, it used to be a great place but now corporate greed has ruined it . Will not recommend anymore to my friends.
To the "NEW OWNERS"..My husband and I used to frequent your Wallisville location, but as it stands because of your OUTLANDISH PRICING on USED PARTS that we do the work of PULLING THEM OFF OURSELVES and because of your HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL FEE which the parts we pulled had absolutely NO IMPACT NO FLUIDS OR OIL SPILLAGE on the environment...we will not be coming back! I will also recommend to all to just buy your parts online. You have lost so much money and business... lost so many customers by hiking up prices for used parts! This is really a thrift shop for used parts!! Customers and employees you have that need raises for the crap they put up with are the people that make your company thrive! Do them right.. and in return, you get a good rep.. Thank you!
Kalvin was extra helpful , went out of his way to FaceTime me and walk thru the yard to show me all the inventory he had for the car I’m needing parts for so I could see them before making a 4-1/2 hour drive . Super friendly and responded almost immediately
I really wish I could not give any stars, they do not honor returns even if you pay for the extra 90 day return, they will say it is not there's when you can clearly see that it is marked, I paid 342.15 for a transmission that I can't use on my vehicle because mine needs the second sensor so I tried to return theirs so I could go pick mine up at another lkq location. They lied and said they only use one paint color which you can clearly see from the pictures that they use multiple colors. The guy who was there over the weekend when we tried to return it the first time tried to say he didn't remember us even being there 2 days before. But then lied again saying we were there over the weekend to get the core charge. I have been on the phone with the Manager multiple times today before driving 2 and a half hours for no reason. But like he said he "does this everyday to people" so other than the price of transmission, core, and warranty was not enough I am now out the four trips to Houston while my vehicle is still without the correct transmission.
Very cool place. Cheap entrance fee. I was here for training but considering bringing my kid out just to let him look at the vehicles. It is what you would expect from a junk yard...old, wrecked cars that have been picked apart...but cool anyway. Was thinking that it would be cool to come with a group and do a scavenger hunt or contest to see who could find the coolest item.
