Astro City scrap on sherperd pays twice as much as this company....they will low ball and the women there don't know what they're doing.. .

Everyone at the Bingle location was friendly and helpful. They keep the place relatively tidy too. Love bringing my scrap here.

We have always had good luck with C&D, always very professional. Something has changed. We started back with them in July on a commercial account and they owe over 12K to us at this time. Very hard to get a response. they have made 1 small payment to us we feel to keep us quiet, in 2 months time. and now I am afraid we will never get paid. Can't even get the owner to call me back. We don't want to send more until we know we are going to get paid. I spoke with another recycler and they said that they have recently been indidated with commercial companies that have come from C&D. This is a shame that something has changed as we have always trusted them for the best service a couple years ago. Although I understand there is growing pains when acquiring an business and things change, but a business is built on it's customers, and stringing the commercial customer on is unprofessional and will cost C&D in the long run. We recycle 5-10k a month in scrap metal in our business, and the unprofessionalism we have endured, is unacceptable, and we don't do that to our customers. We wouldn't be in business anymore if we did that..

The worst experience , no one talks to you, and act like the CEO of the company. Just to pay around 15 or 20 dlla . I wish the original owners come back .. this guy has no idea what is Texas business.

Last time I'll go there. Had an old portable generator that I had tried to repair, but it wasn't worth it so I took it, and another motor, to C&D. The generator and motor were separated from the frame. They considered the generator and motor to be "aluminum breakage", and the steel frame to be "shreddable tin". No mention of the copper or steel. So I'll take a big #2 on their $2 bills and take my future scrap elsewhere.

Cool place, they were kinda slow processing my metal but I like bringing my scrap their instead of a landfill

They have the lowest price I ever heard .43lb they don't even deserve 1 star, I turned in 4 bags of crushed cans today at .80lb got $72 so come to Rivera recycling in Pasadena and they do you right

Now with the new owner this is a disaster, no one knows where you have to drop the , everytime is a different sistem . This is more focused on industrial. No more business for the residents in HOUSTON.

We are teaching our daughter about recycling and turning in aluminum cans. They are always really nice here in cheering her on and have always had a lollipop or aluminium cups as extra treats for her besides the $2 bills ?

I called before coming to verify that they had a magnetic machine to remove the metal from my trailer so no damage was caused. I show up and waited 40 mins only for them to damage my wooden deck on the trailer with a claw machine. Not only that, but I had to remove the remaining metal that the claw couldn’t get by hand while the 3 employees just stand there and watch me. Then I waited another 45 mins to receive my payment with only 4 people in front of me. I highly recommend using a different scrapyard.

Been here a few times and they actually do have competitive prices. They also have VERY visible scales with the prices and your weights printed on the receipt. I've been screwed by a smaller scrap company, so all these regulations are nice to see, since it protects the scrappers and keeps business peaceful. Add in a clean yard with clearly painted driving lanes, this is definitely a place to bring your extra scrap metals. My mom likes the $2 bills, too.

They pay you in 2 dollar bills latterly they just give you 2$ for all your scrap! They need to have a better system with signs! And to top it off! I got a flat because of how dirty they work! Now I got to go get a new tire with the 2 dollars they gave me! Smh! Worst experience I ever had! And you can even look at my rankings on Google!

We have been coming here for years and have been able to walk around and buy scrap metal for personal projects etc.. workers have always been nice. Apparently they are under new ownership and no longer sell to the public, what a shame, it was such a cool thing to be able to do. creative people used to be able to find such unique stuff that you could never find anywhere else, and costs them nothing to let you shop around. I will never do business with these people again and if asked would never recommend them to others unless they reverse this decision.

For a homeowner getting rid of old nails, screws, and an assortment of random pipes and metals from a demo, I was very (positively) surprised at how quickly the people at C&D made it through. They told me what to do and where to go and even helped me unload! I even got out with far more money than I expected and of course, got a $2 bill and an aluminum cup on the way out. Thank you for a quick and smooth transaction!

I went in knowing my weights. They not only were hundreds of pounds under, they labeled my 15-5 as 17-4 so they could knock me down another 5 cents per pound. The greasy dude who has a hard time reading was disrespectful and unhelpful. Was he really in charge? He sure does like to argue... I would recommend any of the 50 other scrap metal places in Houston before this place. I didnt know what the 410 was and immediately accepted the fact that it wasn't what I had been told it was but the rude owner felt like he had to make a point. I have been dealing with an extremely wide variety of materials for over 17 years and make weekly trips into Houston to sell my scrap metal. I've never waited so long and been undercut so badly before. The workers were very nice, they just need a new owner.

First time visit. Not sure how much per pound but got exactly $2 for my old radiator. Staff was polite.

Had a great experience at C&D. Very spacious and well organized place. All the employees are very helpful and very nice. I love getting the $2 dollar bills and this year they gave me 2 tickets for the Texas Renaissance Festival for my scrap. Thank you C&D!!

I would recommend C and D to everyone in the Houston area. From the initial call to Bryan to the last item removed, this was the best decision we made to use C and D for this monstrous, time-sensitive project we had to attack! We were accommodated on every request we made. From Rosy, Brittany, and Bryan in the office to the wonderful, courteous ,and friendly drivers Henry and Ivory, we cannot thank them all enough for taking care of us the way they did. If i could give them more than five stars, I definitely would. We really felt special and were taken care of with the utmost professional, courteous, efficient customer service!

I HIGHLY recommend C&D! The staff is what really has me coming back! This location has a great set of people. Especially Mia, she’s wonderful, super sweet and she always goes out of her way to connect with you and almost makes you feel like you’re part of the C&D family! The 2$ bills are definitely a bonus ??

Nice place. Fast and efficient process to turn scrape to cash. I was pleased that the parking was under cover on this rainy day. I fulfilled a 2020 resolution to unburden the garage of some Swedish steel that was occupying space without any benefit.

Just reading the reviews here, I don't feel comfortable going there to give them my social security number and information. They're more likely to steal from me and take my identity and mess up my credit. No thanks. I come from the financial industry and that is unnecessary, sensitive information to give them for $8? No. I can go get my available credit anywhere else. I'm not going to dig through garbage, risk my identity getting stolen by theives.
