This company is horrible and I’m sure that they’re gonna be having some issues very soon, but these people literally towed my brother’s truck damage his rim and refusing to pay for it the gentleman that took him to his vehicle when he went to this place to recover it, he walked around his truck and took video and noticed that his rim had been damaged. He brought it to the manager Jerrod attention, and here comes the bull crap he was met with you know how many people say his drivers damage something on their vehicle 99.99% of that they are lying he looked at me and writing his face and told him I’m not lying to you my brother has OCD very bad and drives his truck with Care. Jerrod send a bull crap email talking about. He looked at the video and listen to the audio and claiming that my brother is lying when clearly we know you’re lying my brother also went in obtain video footage and pictures of his truck earlier that day literally a hour before his vehicle was towed and this man wants to lie so since he’s lying, we’re gonna go hard on him and take them to small claims court and prove them wrong if anybody would like to be added to this, please message me.

They deserve 0 stars! They force you to make an appt to get your vehicle back. We showed up at 12:30 on time. We sat for 3 freaking hours even though the release and fee waiver was sent on 9/6. We sat in the hot sun calling the other company several times to resend documents. Even our bank hung up on them because they are rediculous and kept playing games saying they didn’t receive and we had to pay 100$. Once in the vehicle there were minor possessions missing? These manager/owner or whatever is the rudest individual I’ve ever met. No clear communication purposely kept giving us the wrong info. When the bank asked to speak w her to straighten it out she refused. I hope they get shutdown what a flipping joke.

Picked up my vehicle from this location. The lady at the front was nice but John was a tool. I get to my car and it's unlocked (cut a key without it being authorized), my camera was removed as well, trash left in the vehicle & my military ribbon is missing. I asked him is it protocol and he shrugs his shoulders then says "Maybe we took it for a spin" and smiled. SEARCH YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU PULL OFF AND FILE A COMPLAINT WITH COOPERATE.

Had the unfortunate experience of getting my car taken. Not embarrassed because life happens and it is what it is. Nevertheless these people are THIEVES!!! Set an appointment to get my property and realized a few things were missing on site. ( powder laundry detergent, aroma boost beads, dryer sheets, and a small bottle of bleach. The excuse given was oh we don’t give that back because we don’t want to damage the other property. No tell the truth that someone took it and used it for themselves. Then to my dismay an Episcopal ring that was given to me by my Deceased Bishop was not included with my personal property as well as a Turkish brass ring with a yellow stone that I purchased not too long ago in Georgia. But I guess they didn’t want those to damage my other property as well. I don’t get upset with people for doing their actual job but when it comes to lying and stealing I have 0 respect. Unfortunately they’ll never be held accountable for what they’ve stolen not just from myself but anyone else that has become their victim. But…… I am a firm believer that you reap what you sow. May not be today or tomorrow but you better believe it’s going to come back on you. That’s all I have to say about that.

I was very skeptical and stressed with previous reviews however the process of getting my car back was seamless. I was treated with respect and courtesy from the people on the phones to the receptionist signing my paperwork. I also had sensitive documents and a wallet with money in the glove compartment and everything was accounted for. Thank you Collateral Recovery Team East Houston location! I truly appreciate you all.

I had an appointment to retrieve my property on Monday June 16. Upon arrival first the receptionist tried to take my keys in which I told her the payment to have my vehicle released was already paid. After waiting over 25 minutes in the heat for them to retrieve my belongings I was advised that they couldn’t find my property. Mind you I just moved to Houston and had to take an uber there and back. Went home contacted loss prevention who reached out to Amber. Amber called and left me a voice message stating my property was found and I could go back up there to get them. Called another uber and get up there again and waited over 30 minutes again in THE HEAT and my Uber was waiting and charging every minute. Told by the same receptionist that my property wasn’t located but that she would check every bin and would follow up with me that afternoon. Of course I didn’t receive the call and gave all day yesterday for an update that I never received. Called this morning and still no one has found my property or taken any kind of ownership to get this resolved. Someone has dropped the ball and no one in this company has any sense of urgency to resolve this issue. I pick up my vehicle today and I need ALL of my belongings. This issue will not be taken lightly because NO ONE in your company has been helpful much less empathetic.

Please report them to TDLR they steal anything of value and damage vehicles. I paid to have my vehicle released was told they have appointments only thru the website upon checking for appointment there is NONE available same day!

After Reading the reviews I was so worried that my things would be missing and I would be treated badly. However, this was the very opposite of the experience that I had they did go in my car, but it wasn’t to steal. Instead it was to preserve my laptop, which was extremely thoughtful and helpful. Also, the lady at the front desk was extremely kind and considerate and even apologized for having me wait less than five minutes while she finished up with another customer, this was my first time going through a situation like this, but they made it easy and I am grateful that they had so much patience and kindness as the situation was already stressful alone

I was just asking questions and trying to find out where my car is and how to get my car back as this company not only makes this hard and inaccessible to some but then the service members are rude and hang up when they don't want to help you anymore. I get some people might take out there frustrations on yall but that doesn't mean you get to do the same to me. It was just rude and unprofessional.

If I could give them 0 stars I would, they picked up my car a coupon of days ago I finally got it back today and they have stolen my hand gun along with my drivers license, my daughters Nintendo switch along with other items!! They are a bunch of thieves!!!

Hey Guys. File a complaint with TDLR. How can a tow company hold your property AFTER you paid the fee because of appointments????? I bet they didn't schedule an appointment to snatch your car. I don't care what their policy is. How can a policy be legit that deprives people of their rights????? The tow truck company has NO RIGHT to hold your vehicle AFTER you paid to retrieve it.

A white man came into my private property at 1 am in the morning and walked into my garage claiming that he was “looking” for a car. I am currently filing a police report on whoever this hooligan is. He seemed suspicious and did not have any proof of what he was looking for. Disgusting man.

I wanted to bring to your attention the unfortunate experience I had at the E Sam Houston location yesterday. Upon arriving to retrieve my vehicle (2013 BMW 640i convertible with 65k miles) low miles I know ?, I encountered a series of issues. The staff member I interacted with was rude from the start, and the handling of my car was concerning. Not only was my new tire missing from the passenger side front seat, but I also discovered that my backseat had been torn out, with the emergency safety and tool kit missing. Furthermore, upon inspecting my car further, I found that the back tire was punctured. The way in which my car was handled during the towing process led to additional damage, including my parking brake getting stuck. Despite my attempts to address these issues calmly, the situation escalated unnecessarily because I was called a F*ing lie. I sought assistance from local authorities and city officials due to the lack of cooperation and professionalism displayed. I believe in treating others with respect and understanding, and it is disheartening when such values are not reciprocated. I simply wished for a resolution and understanding, but unfortunately, this was not met. I wanted to share this experience with you to highlight the importance of respectful communication and proper handling of such situations. Thank you for taking the time to read about my experience. BTW CRT, we noticed that for every bad review someone posts, a good one follows. That's expected ☹ we are not dumb not to notice patterns!!! Karma is REAL

Horrible location! The short Mexican with the mustache was rude and they're definitely crooks. They charge a 50.00 fee to get my items after they went through my vehicle. I asked what was the 50.00 for he couldn't even give me a straight answer. He finally said the bank so I called the bank she sent over a email saying I had no charges but I still had to pay. I was forced to sign the paperwork because if I didn't they would have kept my property. They are robbing people here just because my car was picked up doesn't make me less than them. They should be shut down or get some workers that know how to treat customers.

I’m terribly disappointed in this location. Some of my personal items were removed. Naturally they claim no one would do that, bcuz the have cameras but if the items were inside the vehicle inside of the glove compartment. How can management tell me that no one would take that? ? Come on!!! Were they standing there to see what happened? I know what was in the car. They were valuable items to me and should have been included with the rest of things. Nonetheless I learned a few lessons from this experience. I can’t give them anything more than 1 ⭐️& a thumbs down

Came here and they have amazing customer service and help you out so much. The guy that helped me in the yard is a great conversationalist and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Same as for rest of the staff.

NICEST, VERY helpful and understanding people! As soon as I called, Nicki was Super patient and Nice on the phone. And once getting inside the office to go thru information and paperwork, she was JUST AS NICE in person, as well as informative (considering it was my first time going thru this unfortunate car situation) so I really appreciated her professionalism, understanding and patience with me and my situation. She was sweet enough to offer me an extra bag to make sure I could get all my belongings. And once they led me outside to the car lot to retrieve my belongings, her husband CHILL was as equally friendly, understanding and patient! Offered me an extra bag and reassured me to not be shy to ask for another bag if i needed one. Told me to take my time to get all my stuff, no rush! This is the best Married Couple Duo that i could have ever came across in this unfortunate situation. YALL MADE MY EXPERIENCE SO SMOOTH, EASY AND I APPRECIATE THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thanks again!

Very helpful lady since the first time i talked to her on the phone to see what I needed to do to retrieve my personal belongings from the vehicle that was repossess. Ones i made my appointment on their website i was able to get my personal belongings a few days later with no issues.

My vehicle was repoed by this company and when I received my car back the ac condenser was broken. I contacted the owner Jason by email and he stated all his vehicles are “top of the line” trucks that only lift from the back. Owner ignored the fact that I sent him a screen shot of my car speeding down the freeway with my car in tow. I will be pursuing legal action because now I’m facing a 1000 + bill to fix my ac. If y’all use them, take a mechanic with you and check every aspect of your vehicle.

Had an appointment to pick up my vehicle. Upon arriving I call them to let them know I am there and cant find the entrance. They tell me my appointment is canceled due to weather after I am there already and was never notified. I missed work today and told me to come back tomorrow same time although there was no rain today and most likely will be raining tomorrow. Guess I won’t get my truck back in the next week or so.

They broke into my vehicle and stole over $120 out of my middle counsel that i just took out of the bank prior to repo and a couple of other precious merchandise , and also cracked my windshield and still haven't reimbursed me anything nor the damages caused by repo driver

Very unprofessional, and all lie through their teeth. My car was towed on the 11th of August which gives 30 days from the date to pick up personal property. Upon calling, I get an answer from a lady that is not at the specific branch but just calls them to get information that customers should be able to call and get themselves from the actual crooks there. The first lady explained my car and property was still in Houston and the property would expire today, 30 days from the ACTUAL date the 11th, but they could hold it til Monday since you can’t pick up same day. I then got word from the Lien that the car was in fact back in Nevada, and returned with NOTHING in it and being that I was in the middle of moving, it was FULL. I call again to get clear information, and the second lady Valerie says that it actually was towed on the 9th of August and my property expired 2 days ago, which was a lie being that I was out of state Sunday the 9th and their OWN website said the 11th as well. She stated they have the right to donate and shred property after the 30 days and they had to take the property out before they sent the car back to Nevada. I drive to this crooked place to figure out where the miscommunication was coming from. I get there and the man that comes to the gate which isn’t at the address on Google BTW, states the property was left in the car that was returned to Nevada and he doesn’t understand why I would be told that my property was there when the very first person I talked to confirmed it with them. Also, he supposedly “fired” who gave me the faulty information, smh. I was told something different by both women who got in contact with the Houston branch. As well as something different from the “owner”. Read the reviews, they are DEFINITELY taking people’s belongings before time and coming up with dumb excuses to cover it up. The “owner” who wasn’t actually the owner stated he doesn’t have to talk to me or tell me where it is when they have 30 DAYS to actually give people their property and not use it or rummage through it for themselves.

This company reposed my car , I bought at auction . The car had no lien on it. Took it to Houston, after an argument, they returned my car back to Austin but only after they broke into it stole cash, paperwork, and a passport paperwork. They also damaged the door where they broke in and did damage to the undercarriage of vehicle . Even when I asked them for their insurance, I was told in cuss words I was not getting it. I gave them 1 month to get back with me and nothing. I've written a letter to TDLR, they told me I probably needto contact an attorney. Dont use this company Andy Redmond

This place is a joke, they went through my stuff and stole things. The fat guy in the office is very rude and totally unprofessional. If they tow your call LOOK OUT it cost me $645 to get my car out that was only there for a few days. They do business with crooked 2 stars finance company cause they are a 2 star business themselves. DO YOUR BEST AND AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

When they came and picked up my car they trashed it with empty energy drink cans and empty cigarette cartons and I was missing and item from my car. They claimed they didn't have it even though they had taken a picture of it on file. The woman at the front was rude and even had an attitude like I didn't have a right to be upset.

Yeah y'all took my dash cam. Good job. NOT. If I'm going to pay y'all $50 to get my property back I expect all my things back. I can understand if people never show up for their property, then y'all have the right to take whatever, but I showed up to get my things. And y'all stole my dash cam.
