They were able to replace my motor mounts in a very timely manner! Betty in particular, was extremely helpful and courteous! I would much rather go here for any maintenance on my car vs the dealership!

They have serviced my P-car flawlessly for the past 10+ years and frankly I wouldn’t trust anyone else. I took my car into the Mercedes Dealer 4 times to find a leak in my AC unit they could never could never find the leak. My car was riding really bumpy. A friend referred me to European Cars and sent me a link to their website. On the website, it stated that first-time customers receive 10% off parts and labor. When I mentioned that to the employee over the phone, I received a call from Phil saying that it was an old website I was looking at, but he could offer me 5% of parts and labor. The estimated bill was over $3000 so I had hoped to receive the 10%. Before writing this review, I looked again at the website for European Cars Limited and that same information showing 10% off is still there. My car received a lot of suspension work and is now running as expected. However, I feel they should have honored the 10% listed on the website.
My experience here was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Brought in my 3 series BMW and my own oil for a simple oil change, and they tried to charge me $125. This price would be on the high side even if I hadn't brought my own oil, but since I did, it meant they were trying to charge me above market rate for labor. After voicing my complaint with the owner, I was eventually able to negotiate down to $75. In my opinion, I shouldn't need to negotiate the price of an oil change - it's not a specialty service. I also asked them to quote some other services, and they quoted me above BMW dealership rates. I ended taking my business elsewhere. I'm well aware of market prices, and don't appreciate being taken advantage of, especially by a local shop. There are plenty of other higher quality European car shops nearby.
I went to European Cars Limited for a second opinion after being told by the BMW dealer I needed $4800 worth of repairs. I dropped my car off for the day so they could look it over. They emailed a repair estimate that was significantly less than the dealer and told me one of the dealers line items was not actually needed - that alone was a savings of $1800 off the dealers estimate. I took my car back two days later to have the work completed which included a front end alignment usually necessary after my needed repair. In the end I payed even less than the original European Cars estimate because they told me I didn’t need a front end alignment after all, as the car drove perfectly after the repair. I was extremely grateful for their honesty and integrity. They were up front with pricing and repairs and explained everything. No surprises except good ones. Highly recommend!
This post is well overdue (service provided in March of 2023). I highly recommend this business for BMW owners! Phil and Betty were amazing. I reach out online due to the dealership indicating that I had a plethora of problems with my 2017 430i Gran Coupe. When I found European Cars I shared the dealership quote with Phil and he called me on the phone and described his evaluation process. He was thorough in his explanation and various steps I could take to resolve the concerns, as well as honest about which problems were valid/invalid from the dealership . His pricing was fair, lower than the dealership, and spot on when it came to paying for everything. Once my car was returned to me, there ended up being one defective part, resulting in my car not being able to run after only a couple of days of driving it to and from work. Phil immediately called me once I notified him of the problem. While working on my car the second time, he was again thorough in his communication and explanation of the defective part. Fortunately, a new part was able to be ordered and was covered by the warranty since the part was only a couple days old. Phil did not charge me to replace the part for a second time, which was very much appreciated. I will for sure be returning when my car needs routine maintenance. If you need a new "BMW home" this is a great place to start your search!!
Great service and great prices with professional trained mechanics. Quality service by people who care about you and your car. Took my 2018 BMW 440i in for brake fluid service (flush brake lines as per BMW recommendations). BMW wanted $270 plus to perform the work and if I made an appointment they still wouldn’t promise a prompt turnaround time. I made my appointment with European Cars and got in and out within 2 hours for $160.00, half of what the BMW dealership wanted. I will take my car to European Cars for all my service needs from here out. Awesome customer service at prices that won’t break the bank.
I had an amazing experience with European Cars Limited. I'm new to Houston and needed the engine splash guard replaced on my 328i. European Cars Limited looked like the best indy shop based on reviews. It took them less than 24 hours to replace it and have it ready to go. The price was extremely fair and everyone on their team was extremely nice and welcoming. The owner even went over the whole bill and explained a few other replacement/repair recommendations he suggested. Highly recommend this repair shop to anyone who owns a foreign.
European Cars Ltd. was recommended to me by a coworker. I had a very positive experience several months ago for some routine maintenance on my Porsche Panamera. The staff was professional, courteous, responsive and reasonably priced. This week I needed to have my battery replaced and was charged nearly $600 for it (battery plus labor). I was also not provided an estimate prior to the work being done. I was hoping I had found a fair and trustworthy establishment to work on my cars, but this recent experience makes me wonder if that’s the case.
