If 0 stars was an option, I would give that rating. Took my car to Demo's with a minor fuel leak from my fuel tank. Received a phone call and said they won't work on it due to someone replacing a fuel tank hose before. I asked where the leak was coming from and their answer was "I don't know". Drove home to find my leak 50x worse than when I dropped it off and almost needed a tow truck. Long story short, Demo's is not a mechanic shop, I probably wouldn't even trust them doing an oil change. Called a real mechanic and he had me fixed and back on the road in 6 hours from drop off. Thanks for nothing Demo's.

Friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced.

I was having minor car trouble (burning smell when I started the car) and took it to Demo’s for help. They diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.

Next time I need my car serviced, this is the first place I’ll check.

Horrible service, poorly repaired. Stay away. Get another bid. Our Infiniti had several problems for 1) when the front bumper was re-attached the sensors were not re-attached so our front sensors have never work since 2) the driver door where the collision occurred was not re-installed properly so driving above 55mph you could hear all the wind noise and 3) the top middle control HVAC control console just above the rear view fell off while the screws holding this control console still remained fastened in their rightful place. In short, when this was reinstalled the technician must have tighten the screws so tight that the plastic piece broke off leaving the console hanging and dangling. We had to pay another body shop to fix the door and we had to pay $795 to replace this control console.

Demo Jr made the experience as easy for me as possible. He was extremely responsive throughout the process whenever I had questions. The job was completed quickly and was very well done. I definitely recommend Demo’s!

Great customer service with fast and high quality at a competitive price point. I have done oil changes, body repair, inspections, and tire replacements. They won’t recommend more work than needs to be done. They are very accommodating if you have questions and there is a car service to take you to work!

Demo's is incredible. I live 4 hours away from Houston, so when my "check engine" light came on, I was at the mercy of the closest shop to help me out. Even though I had no experience with Demo's and no referrals to it, I just had to trust they would take good care of me.

And they did!

Ray greeted me with a smile, set reasonable expectations, and was very upfront about the pricing. The work was done completely in the time frame they quoted for the price they quoted. What else can you ask for!

There is more, though. I just got off the phone with a delightful woman who called to check that my car was working properly and to make sure I was satisfied. What great customer service!

First, I would like to say I was satisfied with the repair done to my car. The mechanics did a great job.

The low rating comes from the lack of communication, rude front desk lady, and continuous issues regarding my refund.

I had some issues with the insurance and that was not communicated with me until I was the one that called a week and a half after I dropped my car off.
Then there was some issues with the payment and I was supposed to get a refund. The lady I talked with on the phone was impatient and rude when I would call to check on the status of the payment. They started to issue the refund after I had to give credit card authorization.
I would not be writing this one star review if we ended there. But suddenly that refund magically disappeared from my transaction history, and now I have to escalate it with my bank.

What should've taken 2-3 weeks is taking almost 2 months to solve. Save yourself the frustration and find somewhere else to take your car. I know I will.

I had the worst experience at this auto shop. I recently backed into another car in a parking lot. After talking to the owner of the another car, we decided that she gets an estimate from an auto shop and I directly pay the repair to the auto shop. This is the auto shop she got the estimate from. At the time of payment, this auto shop asked me to fill out the credit card authorization form even though they run the transaction on my debit card. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my card information behind. I asked the shop owner why they needed my card information when they already ran my debit card through the machine. The owner of this auto shop accused me of being dishonest and said that I can cancel my transaction by calling my debit card company. First of all, that’s not how it works. Do some research first. Additionally, if I don’t want to pay, I won’t be here in the first place. I feel targeted, disrespected and discriminated. Worst auto-shop ever.

Just got my car inspected today at Demos. I came in as a walk-in at 5pm on a Tuesday and was in an out in less than 30 minutes. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful! Seems like a really great establishment. I will be back!

Recently I had my car repaired after a collision at Demo's and words can't describe how friendly and helpful this body shop and automotive center is. They keep me informed of the status, went above and beyond making sure my car was repaired perfectly. I highly recommend this body shop and look forward to taking my car in the future for repairs if needed.

This place has amazing customer service! They were very thorough, and Ray was very patient and explained everything to me. They were quick, and didn’t up charge me. As a younger college student, that’s always a comforting thing. Great service, would definitely recommend to a friend.

Had an all around great experience. Brought in my truck (2021 GMC Sierra) after getting rear ended. They made the process very easy and were very communicative. My truck came out looking brand new, like nothing happened.

I am beyond extremely pleased with my last interaction with Demos, which lasted over 6 months. Let me explain. The catalytic converter on my 12-year Toyota Prius was stolen. I had to replace the entire exhaust system due to the botched job. Demos said the parts would take around 6 months to get. They were right, almost to the day. I had no place to park the car at home, so they kept it at their lot and moved the car every day to protect the hybrid battery. Amazingly, they hybrid battery pack did not fail (during the hottest summer in Houston history). They also worked directly with my insurance company to make the process much less painful.

I appreciate Demo's.

The auto center recently completed a major job (engine) on my truck.
I received daily progress updates on my truck as it was being repaired from Costa (gm). After picking it up after the repairs were completed, I received a follow up call regarding the repairs from Renee. It is much appreciated the way they communicate and take care of you!

I've been taking our cars to Demo's for 20 years. They are honest and reliable. They find and fix what is wrong and nothing else. They use OEM parts for body work (and we have used them more than I like to think about.) If you are like me and don't know a thing about fixing your car, then you have to have an honest mechanic. Demo's is the place to go to find one.

My family has been a customer of Demo’s for many, many years. We’ve never had a bad experience. Demo’s is thorough, timely, extremely knowledgeable, and dependable. Each and every employee I’ve interacted with has been helpful and friendly.

Demo’s owner and staff are very thorough, courteous and professional, and good at diagnostics. They always drive a car after repair to make sure the problems are solved. In 40 years, we have never had a bad experience. Their work is excellent quality!

TLDR: Possibly one of the best businesses in Houston.

I went to Demo on Tuesday because my parents were visiting on Thursday. There was a big dent in my car that I didn't want my parents to know about lol. He repaired 2 panels on the car in 48 hours, gave a free interior clean, and everything was perfect. I then went back a couple of weeks later to ask about another mechanical problem, and he was extremely helpful. They also drove me home and picked me up when the car was in the shop. I needed to split the payment on 2 cards and they had no trouble accommodating my requests.

I have taken my cars to Demo’s for years and have always had a great experience. It is close to my house which makes it convenient. They do both large and small jobs, and the prices are good. I take my van in every year before our long drive at the holidays to have it checked. Demo’s can do it all for a reasonable price. Love that it’s family owned and has been around for so long.

Peace of mind is how I feel when I entrust my car to Demo’s for any services. They do qualify work, are very professional, very accommodating and totally reliable, as well as fair and on time! I will definitely continue taking my car there and recommending them to everyone I know!

I've been to Demo's several times for inspection as well as routine repairs. Service is excellent and quotes are very fair. I've even had to call them for a tow and they took care of me quickly. They have courtesy shuttles to pick you up or take you to work if needed. All repairs have been done in projected timeframe. This is the only place I will take my car.

Whenever a repair is needed, I’m given a thorough explanation of what is wrong/the resolution/cost. Costa, Jerry, and a number of others have gone out of their way to help me quickly resolve car repairs. Demos has been my households go to place for the last decade. They are fair, reliable, and extremely transparent. Service is flawless. Costa, Jerry and Demo keep our ole cars running great! Only one issue in 10 years with an aftermarket water pump that failed. They refunded my money and made it right.

It's hard to find a good mechanic shop in general - I feel a few customers can be unreasonable and end up posting bad reviews, which are sometimes interesting to read when the owner replies with their side of the story. In my single experience taking my car here, the work was done quickly and for a reasonable price. My only comment would be that I wish the service manager was a little bit more friendly and talkative. I am not a car expert but I wish to have a bit of a discussion back and forth before just leaving my car for the day.

I got services from this shop several years ago. Hope their service has improved over time.

My impression of this shop is that they appear friendly, but the mechanics were not very skillful to diagnose the problems exactly and they work slow compared to other shops. The manager Jerry was too interested in charging money. They did not know what to fix but guessed here and there, and still tried to replace many parts to charge me lots of money. I followed their recommendations, but the car broke after a week.. I didn't find them very professional, unfortunately. Candy and shuttle service are nice, but that's not the reason I went there and spent money. I took it later to Vietnamese mechanics (I am not Vietnamese), they found problems in a day and fixed it completely at lower prices.
