This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
In Houston, TX, Southwest Towing Company shows generally positive but polarized feedback. Strengths: very fast arrivals (often 5–20 minutes), professional driver Don, care for vehicles, attempts at jump-starts before towing, and mostly reasonable pricing; lockout help also praised. Weaknesses: repeated reports of rude or unhelpful phone service, hang-ups, a cash/price dispute, refusal to quote, and one predatory-towing allegation. Wait times are usually short; pricing is viewed as fair by many but inconsistent. No insights on parts inventory or yard organization. Overall: 81/100.
Don provided me with exceptional service. I requested jump start service and he told me he would arrive within 15 minutes. He arrived exactly when he said he would which I really appreciate. Also, I am not a car person but he educated me on what was wrong with my car and answered all my questions while also making it easy for me to understand. Thanks Don!
Don was great! I was not sure what was wrong with my vehicle and Don attempted to give me a jump to avoid the cost of a tow. I appreciated that he did not immediately assume that my car needed to be towed. If I get stuck again I will definitely be calling Don!
Don was an incredible tow truck driver. He arrived within 15 minutes of getting my call, hooked up to the truck, and flawlessly backed it in to a very tight driveway within minutes.
I’ve had some bad experiences with tow truck drivers in the past, but this was hands down the most painless process I could’ve imagined. Anytime I ever need a tow in the future I will be giving him a call.
Very quick to arrive. But he charged me $120 to pull me out of a ditch(understandable( On top of that, I only had $200 in cash, and after handing him the money, he walked around his truck then got back into the track and IMMEDIATELY got aggressive and said I only gave $80
The quickest and most affordable locksmith service !
Don was extremely helpful and great to have in my families time if need ! 10/10 would recommend !
P.s. my mom said he smelled good lol
Don arrived shortly after I called him. Hooked up my vehicle to his tow truck quickly and got me to my destination with no problems. Would definitely use again.
Don was quick to get to my location and towed my vehicle at a reasonable price. My car would not start and he got me towed quickly. Highly recommend this company!
Don was amazing!! He rescued me off the side of the freeway. He got there so fast and he took great care of my car. He is friendly and his prices are way better than others. I recommend him highly if you are in need of a tow
Great customer service! Fair pricing. I was panicking because my car wouldn't start. Don told me that he could get to me in 20 minutes. He arrived within 20 minutes as promised and was very professional. He even sent me a picture of my vehicle to let me know that it was safely dropped off to the auto repair shop.
Great customer service, great timing and friendly all around! I had a rough start to my day and my truck would not start and I had called several other tow companies all told me it would be an hour to 2 hours before they could get to me I called Southwest towing and he was here within 15 minutes. The price is there a reasonable and the service was professional and friendly! Highly recommend!
Fast response and great price! I was stranded at Walgreens in my old f150 and he showed up in his big yellow tow truck pretty quickly and even gave us a ride home. 5 stars for the super service highly recommend. GO ASTROS
Don was absolutely awesome quoted me a price honored the price, arrived on time as decussed and handled my car with car during the tow. I 100% recommend his service.
Don came so fast! He’s a life saver! Affordable pricing. I will definitely be contacting them again. Thank you so much for being there as soon as I called! You guys are great. Highly recommended.
Forgot the name of the gentleman who helped me, but he drove a yellow tow truck. My car had a flat and had to get a tow since the screws wouldn't come off. I called Southwest Towing and I was given a price within 5 minutes that was lower than other tow companies.
The price never changed and there was no hidden fees. Was a swift tow and drop off and would absolutely use Southwest Towing again if something ever happens again!
I had a fast and easy experience with Southwest Towing Company! I would give him 10 stars if I could. If anyone is in urgent need of a towing service with an affordable price this is towing company to call! I will most definitely recommend him to all my family and friends. Thank you for your help!
Very good service. He called and said 20 minutes, he arrived on time. Very presentable and accommodating for me to feel glad to hop into his truck. All in all, I would contact the tow trucker company again for their services.
Don is an exceptionally friendly and honest businessman. He showed up quick and quite literally got me out of a tight spot with my stuck car. Great service. If I had to use a tow again his is the first number I’d dial. Highly recommend to anybody around town in need of a tow man!
I called 6-7 local towing companies before I got in touch with Don. Save yourself the runaround and call him first: he's got the most affordable rate I could find, he's a great communicator, and he knows his business. In my case, I needed a 60 mile tow after a brake failure on the 610 (not a good day). Don had to drive a pretty long distance to get back before he could move on to the next job, but he took it on and gave me a bit of a discount, too.
If you need your car towed you're probably not having a good day. However, I was lucky enough to call Southwest towing. He worked with me on price, was accurate & on time with his service. Offered calming advice and is all around good dude. Im saving his number will reach out to him first from now on any time I need towing services.number
Very fast and reliable service. I was very satisfied with how fast they showed up and very affordable! Also Manuel the one who helped me was very courteous and professional, ask for him he will take good care of you! I would recommend to anyone who needs help with their auto troubles!
Don just helped tow my car and I couldn't be happier. He showed up within 10 mins of me calling and was so nice over the phone, which had a calming effect. As a young women he did not make me feel uncomfortable by any means, infact quite the opposite with his caring personality.
We handled everything professionally and quick.
Thank you so much for the great service! If I'm ever in trouble again and need a tow I know who to call!
Great towing company! They were fast, quick, and easy to work with. The pricing was better than anywhere else in my area, they really came through when I needed their help. I am very grateful for this company, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!
What a wonderful man! My car stalled out on the way home from picking up my mom in the hospital. This man came in the amount of time he said he would be there. He handled my car with care, and was a gentleman to me. I HIGHLY recommend him and his business!
When my car overheated in the mid-town area I called many wrecker companies for prices and estimates of arrival time to get to me they varied greatly. I set up a call with Apple Towing because it was the cheapest and was given an eta of 1 hour but after waiting an hour and a half I gave Southwest a call back and he arrived in less than 15 minutes. He was courteous and respectful with me and my car and his rate wasn't the highest but was just more than happy to get home. I've saved his number to use him again if the need arises although I certainly hope I won't need his service again but he'll be my first call if I do.
