The staff is friendly and very professional! This place is HUGE with a lot of moving parts! It's like going to a monster truck showBe extremely careful when driving into the area, sometimes there's small pieces of metal scrap on the ground.
Legit business would buy parts products again. Danny answered any questions I had which was a lot. I’m in Cen Cal and the business is up near the Sacramento area Danny explained the payment process along with the delivery details and everything went as stated. He also sent a video of the parts I would be receiving before purchasing.
Prestige is the best scrap metal place that I have ever seen I could be on the south side and come way from the south side over here to the north side just to sell my scrap to prestige they are five stars everyday now what I do

I have consistently found my visits to be productive and successful. Transactions are consistently handled in a prompt and efficient manner. The ability to complete business in under 20 minutes is impressive. The staff consistently displays a high level of professionalism and knowledge. We appreciate the opportunity to engage in business with them.
A good place to sell iron, and here they have money to pay, unlike other places where you have to return for your money a week later, and everyone is very friendly

The wait time was not long, and they were prompt with your tickets and money and communication. It’s rare to find a company that’s both fast and so genuinely customer-focused. I recently visited Prestige and was disappointed with the service. My dad wanted to bring in 4-5 crushed cars per day in one trip to save on time and diesel, but first, we needed to verify they were clear of any issues. I went to check with the scale lady, but she wasn't helpful. She said only customers who weigh in and out are priority, despite my explanation. When I asked her to check the VINs, she claimed she was busy, so I offered to wait. I mentioned that I'd tried texting them the VINs, but didn't get any confirmation. She then told me I sent the wrong VINs, but they never replied to confirm or deny their accuracy. She also said the system wasn't working, but I noticed her computer and VinAudit seemed fine. After waiting, she told me they can't check VINs for cars not on site, which was frustrating since I'd already explained the situation. I'm giving them 3 stars because they have good prices, but the scale lady's attitude was unhelpful. As the face of the company, she set a poor tone for our interaction. I hope the staff can improve their communication and service by implementing a more efficient process or providing clearer guidance on their requirements. This would make a big difference in serving customers like my dad who are trying to streamline their operations.
I called & they have the part I needed, same day I when over & pulled my part, they have a cleanest yard I've been to, they even help me to placing it on my truck, I will be a returning customer, by the way they have nice personnel & service is excellent.
The two women that worked Friday the 28th were very rude and sent me in circles around the scrapyard. I’m not sure if it’s discrimination or anything but someone in the yard did try to help me other than those two women. My time was very much wasted coming to this establishment and will never be back. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. On top of that the money you get for your metal isn’t worth it.
Very dishonest people. I bought a bumper that was advertised for certain year and it wasn't the bumper for the advertised year. There are very small difference and I didn't catch it..that's on me to an extent. But they will not take it back with my receipt. Horrible business practice. The lady even knows that I just got it from there. And I have screen shots of our messages asking year,color,and location with her responses. Terrible customer service..lesson learned
Best pick n pull I’ve been to. Ladies in the back was very helpful and very nice. Anytime I need a part this is the only place I will go. Best prices too
My experience with Prestige was due to their being used by Peddle (whom I was selling my car to) for pickup and payment.
Excellent experience from start to finish. They contacted me when the driver was on his way, which was at the earlier end of the time bracket they gave me. Sure enough, he arrived on time.
Pickup was extremely straightforward. Their tow driver did a quick 'once over' check to make sure my sale submission was accurate, gave me the cash amount agreed upon, a couple of signatures and documentation checks (title and ID) and that was that, took the car away there and then. A no fuss, no nonsense, and very polite tow driver.
Prestige Auto & Metal Recycling was contracted to recycle a corporate aircraft and they did a fantastic job. They were asked to take on the project with less than a days notice and Kenny was able to put all of the logistics in place in less than an hour to complete the project on a Saturday. The crew showed up the next morning, at the offsite location, on time and in full force ready to work. In four hours the airplane was dismantled, loaded on to the trucks and headed out the gate to their recycling facility. There was also a crew of people who stayed behind to clean up the worksite to our aviation standards.
Communication was and still continues to be top notch. If I ever have another recycling project Prestige Auto & Metal Recycling will be my first call!
The prices at this facility are always higher than anyone around. I drive 30 minutes one way to haul all my scrap here. They also are very supportive of the youth. The employees explained stuff to my son about differences in ferrous and non ferrous material (remember, the youth is our future). The area is always fairly clean considering the environment eliminating wear and tare on my vehicles. Highly recommend Prestige for any scrap haul off. An added bonus is they have a you pull it yard with great prices as well!
Best scrap yard in Houston and surrounding areas, the girls in office are very professional and polite, the yard guys very hardworking people and helpful to customers. A1
This place was so easy to work with! Entrance is only $2, they provide good wheel barrows, it isn't packed, and the prices are very fair! Definitely better than the corporate LKQ pick a parts and the greedy and sketchy owners off Airline and Shepherd Drives!
