They are great people and pretty reasonable with the prices, they have a lot of classic cars if you need some parts, highly recommended.

Kimberly was very nice and helpful over Facebook marketplace while inquiring about parts, and Gary is very friendly and knowledgeable on Z cars, they have been collecting cars for quite some time and have a great selection of parts. I came in to get a cylinder head which was pulled for me and ready to go for a good price. If you have any classic Z car parts you are looking for then I would definitely check them out.

This is a late review but i will say im still happy i went to check it out, left with a window motor and something i though id never find which was a spoiler and a little emblem from what I believe was a 240 or 280z, but overall the owners were awesome and I can’t wait to come back and get more goodies

Great experience. They had the part I was inquiring about ready for me to pick up when I arrived. Great prices and just an overall pleasant transaction.

Reached out to Kimberly on Facebook for some parts on the del sol. Was able to get a very good deal from Kimberly and Gary on the floor mats. When I arrive to pick up the item, they already have the items on the front desk. I was surprised that they have 3 honda del sol in their yard. I ask for price for a few other parts but couldn't close it with Gary. Gary is an old, salty, straight shooter while Kimberly is gentle and soft spoken. Definitely, will do business again!

This place is absolutely amazing! They have tons of hard to find import pieces! This is a real hidden gem in the automotive community!

If you are reading the review dont doubt what yall read i called about a harness and it was so much back and fort with them and they end up asking 200 for a harness that goes for 100 the must 130 at other yards so yes overpriced resiculous confirmed stay away from this (joke yard ) you can find parts cheaper at ebay or lkqs

Gary & Kimberly helped me out so much when it comes to finding parts for cars I’m working on. They are communicative, friendly, and helpful any way they can be. Would definitely recommend coming here for all your import needs!!

I don't usually write reviews at all, but after seeing some of the negativity on others I thought it necessary to leave my own. I called and scheduled to pick up a gas tank for a 280zx and I was even able to get what I felt was a very fair price, they were nice when I entered and let me borrow a flashlight to inspect it, allowing me to take my time. It was in great shape just the usual dust and thin surface rust you get with stuff like this, and they were friendly when paying as well. If anything I was the rude one when I asked if they could go any lower then the price we agreed upon due to that thin surface rust. Gary firmly said no and explained why, and he was correct, a lot of meaner things could have been said and he still would have been right! again sorry for the rudeness I displayed. I hope to do future business with pinemont as they have a killer selection of parts and know what they're doing as well.

Awesome place if you need to find Old Genuine Quality VW Parts for your Bug, Dune Buggy, Bus ETC. Was way cheaper than the new EMPI junk parts made from China. These parts maybe old, but they are genuine VW old original parts that are sure to last than the new junk made in China. Friendly staff too.

Gary and wifey are great! Gary is knowledgeable and always helpful when I come by. I've been dealing with the business for a while. Always have good parts for my 1997 Nissan Maxima!

These two.wonderful people that run pinemont salvage deserve alot more praise than what these 1 star people are giving. From beginning to end on a Facebook post I gave them a try, and after a little back and forth I got pictures and very prompt replies for exactly the part that I needed. Let it be known as all of you should, that parts are sometimes very specific. In my case, a Datsun z door rod from a 76 is not the same as a 77-78 z. And the owners made sure they had the right part before sending it out. I appreciate the effort especially considering I live all the way in California. Hopefully I can work.with them again for parts. Thank you guys.

So Kimberly and Gary at Pinemont auto salvage in Houston Texas work with me in purchasing and shipping a set of Datsun wheels that I have been wanting for some time now... I saw a post that they have a said and they were at a very reasonable price but they were in Texas I'm in California ... So shipping was gonna be an issue and well everything is gone PayPal or Venmo... So they worked with me and help me get PayPal started which I have never done ... And they were very patient with me as I had not the easiest time figuring it out ... These people are great I advise anyone who wants to purchase anything from them do it !!! I was very afraid of getting burned never having done PayPal as long as we deal with people like this I have no problem doing that again thank you Kimberly and Gary for helping me revive my Dustin 510 with some new shoes..! I look forward to dealing with you in the future... As you know .. All cars run on used parts...!

I have bought parts for a Datsun 260Z. Gary is very knowledgeable on these cars. He understand what interchanges. All the parts i have bought have turned out to be good. it very hard to get parts for these vehicles that were build 40 years ago.

Definitely not friendly at all, the lady is very kind, the man is so rude guys. I’m glad I’m not the only one who mentions it... don’t say what you think or he’s pushing you away. Very closed minded and not a business owner. Still have a good opinion about the lady.
High prices, he thinks he has gold in his junk yard. You can’t really see what you’re buying before proving that you have cash in your hand. I guess it’s a “joke yard” for people who know what’s worth it.

About a year ago i remember the owner (i assume) Gary get mad that i had called to see if they had a Nissan part that i needed, and showed up like 40 minutes after the call. I never explained to him that my father has trouble walking and it took us time to get to the area. Upon arriving he was rude and accused me of going to other salvage yards instead of his shop which wasnt true but i shouldnt have to explain myself to this guy. He runs a shop and his aim should be to make money not cry like a child because he thinks i was out looking for a better deal. Worst expirence trying to find car parts.

Bottom line go anywhere else. Go to a shop that actually seems happy to have a business and respects you.

I just want to thank the wonderful folks at Pinemont Salvage for helping me get the parts i needed for my beloved Santa Claus Car.
Kimberly and Gary were so helpful since i began The Search for Shocks...(Wasnt that a Star Trek movie?).
Anyway, he found me a pair early on but then told me and showed me that one he got them off he could tell they were completely useless and showed it to me (like i would recognize if they were no good) and said he wouldnt want to sell these.
They then sat there and made half a dozen calls for me and then gave me several other numbers for me to try. More importantly i heard how they did it when they called so i knew just want to say and in what order and when to wait for them to ask me questions making things streamlined and efficient.
They also took my number and said they would call if something came up.
Well I had done that with dozens of places so far but it was Gary and Kimberly that contacted me and he was quite excited about the quality and condition of the shocks he just pulled off a 91 Stanza.
After a dozen of more false leads and disappointments i tried not to get my hopes but when i went to get them he was so visibly happy about getting me these I nearly hugged him which would have been so very awkward.
They were the only folks to actually call me back. And they are just so nice and helpful.
I cannot thank them enough for helping me get my santa car back on the road.

I'm a longtime customer and Nissan enthusiast. The owners, Gary and Kim are always patient with me,and fair with prices when I need any specific part for any of my wacky project cars. I highly recommend them for any classic import car parts that are hard to find.

I just came back from this place I had the disgrace finding. I purchased yesterday two parts for a car that didn't fit in the end. I came back today to let the (horrible) man who sold them the problem, insisting that even though the parts looked like they were the indicated ones, they did not work for the car I need them for. He started elevating his voice tone , saying "Prove it, bring me the car! I am not going to give you any money back. You need to leave!". He deliberately did not give me any sales recipt when I payed him. I asked "Are you screaming at me?" He answered “YES I AM!” I said I was not being disrespectful with him. He said yes, to him, I was being disrespectful. He over abused his position because he saw I am a non-caucassian as he is. So to all hispanic and people of color or simply non-caucassians with a foreign accent, be careful of that man. I ended up telling him he was a racist man.

Excellent service, incredibly friendly, and fair pricing. Communication was great and the whole experience was wonderful. A gentleman even came in looking for something very specific and the owner recommended another location which may have it in order to help him out. The parts were already pulled when I got there and they helped me load them up. Everything was as described and now I'm just looking for an opportunity to return soon. Thank you!

I called in looking for a part and when they answered the phone. The service i received was phenomenal. I didnt even ask for a number to try and find the part. They automatically gave me a number. I will most definitely be calling them back if i ever am in need of a part.

When it comes to imports, absolute best of the best. Top notch service. Extremely professional. These guys are at a different level of knowledgeable. I see some of the other reviews say they are refreshing to deal with and you aren't kidding. They are good at what they do.

To deal with someone with a good honest attitude and willing to go out of his way to pick a part he did not have handy on the shelf.
I spoke with him very nice upfront and honest about the part I was looking for and about to pruchase. I needed a part for my brother's car. I went to another place they sold me a bad ppart, But not their fault its the luck of the draw, I guess.
