I would give them 0 stars. This mechanic came out and replaced the alternator, and we paid over $600 for the repair. Our car had a brand new battery that was only a couple of months old. When they finished "fixing" it they had the audacity to tell us to check the warranty on the battery, implying that was the issue — knowing full well they had swapped out our new battery. We later discovered they had taken our new battery and replaced it with an old one. A few days later, the their old battery failed. Taking advantage of people is unacceptable. We trusted this business and were completely disappointed. Please be cautious before using their services.

I’m very happy with the service I received. They were professional, respectful, and got my car repaired quickly. The price was reasonable. It’s hard to find honest mechanics, but this was a great experience.

F250 -- YES! I’ll try to keep tis short and sweet. It is hard to find a knowledgeable and ethical diesel mechanic. And it is even more challenging to find 1 that has time to work on your vehicle and doesn’t tell you there is a 6 week backlog of diesel repairs in front of you. My situation was my 2017 F250 had an engine light come on 2 days before I had to leave for a work project in San Antonio, and I needed to drive my truck for the project. I went by 1 mechanic and 2 AutoZones to see if they could do a computer diagnostic to see what was causing the engine light to come on. All 3 people said they could not get a diagnostic reading, nor could they figure out why the engine light would be on. They suggested an electrical issue. I was running out of time and found Houston Mobil Mechanic & Diesel Repair on the internet from their numerous positive reviews. I called the shop, and Anthony told me he would drop what he was doing and try to help me make my project in San Antonio on time. Anthony ran a diagnostic check on my truck computer and then climbed under the truck to check a few things. He decided the most logical and cost-effective solution would be to start with the electronic parts to the Diesel Exhaust System. I left the truck with Anthony that morning, and within 4 hours he had everything resolved and had already test driven my truck to make sure it was completely fixed before I drove it to San Antonio. Anthony even followed up the next 2 days via phone to make sure there were no other problems that arose. Good knowledge, professional work, and ethical billing in an incredibly timely manner.……..all very much appreciated.

I called here after seeing so many great reviews and my car being stuck. I’m always so anxious about going to a mechanic as a woman and having poor experiences with previous mechanics. It was a HUGE relief to be taken care of without feeling patronized or preyed upon for money. My repair was at a reasonable price, and was guaranteed they’ll make it right if the repair doesn’t last. There was no intent to up-charge or find immediate “fixes.” Another urgent issue was found with my car, but they let me know I did not have to fix it right then and there, and I could buy the part myself so they could replace it at a later date. This was such a great experience. Everyone was kind, polite, kept me informed throughout the process, and best of all it was fast! I can’t sacrifice leaving my car with a mechanic for days or weeks at a time. I rarely leave reviews, but I do think it’s worth giving this place the credit for their great service and attentiveness with my car. I will DEFINITELY be using them again for any car needs and will be recommending them to anyone who needs it.

Great service, and great work. They were flexible with my work hours as every day is different for me. Took the time to source quality parts, gave me options on several manufacturers, and I ultimately went with OEM from the dealership. Parts were in the next day from Dallas, and were replaced in an afternoon ?? It’s different than a brick and mortar shop, but does not lack anything in quality of service or work done. Skip the service department and wait times of a regular shop that will have you out of service for days or weeks, and instead get service tailored to your specific needs on your time. Will be doing business for maintenance with them in the future ??

DEF added to running motor. Running motor ran until failure. Then was tried to start repeat repeatedly, endb result, major disaster, as well as a Disastrous financial expense. I was impressed from the beginning when the owner of the company personally responded to the request on a Sunday afternoon. Has a huge amount of resources in the Houston area as he arranged for The towing of my truck, the storage of my truck, as well as finding a local service to tow my trailer to somewhere where he was able to securely.. The diagnosis wasn’t great, but he assured me that he would do everything in his power to make sure that it was handled correctly, and I may not have wanted to hear everything that needed to be done. I sure understood the professionalism and knowledge that this man showed and had Just as he was able to communicate to me the process on which he would diagnose service and ultimately fix the vehicle. To say the least he delivered a godsend. He was able to repair the vehicle correctly using factory parts, To factory specs. Not only did he Deliver as promised, but he did so honestly. These guys are great. My car was stranded at work needing a new alternator. I called them late in the evening, and they showed up first thing in the morning right on time so i could meet them before i went in to work. they got it done very quickly as well. they came to assess the situation, went out to buy the part, and had it replaced all within an hour and a half. very nice and respectful as well!

My car was stranded in a parking lot and these guys were out there diagnosing and fixing the problem same day. Good communication and no surprise charges or shady tactics. I appreciated the team’s prompt service. Will be using them again if the need arises!

Battery died a month after replacement / taking it to the dealership to fix the fact that batteries kept dying on me. Instead of going back, called Anthony. He diagnosed in minutes what they couldn't figure out in a week, and had it fixed the next day. Communicative, sociable, transparent. Anthony and his team did a great job of showing up within 1 hour on a Sunday morning to help diagnose a car that dumped oil everywhere. They were able to help push the car out of the parking garage, diagnose and fix it to get us on our way for a 11 hour road trip within a couple hours! Very timely and prompt service with very responsive and clear communication.

Anthony was great. He spent almost an hour and a half inspecting the truck I was buying. This was an out of state purchase so I wanted some assurance I wasn't buying a truck with a ton of problems and Anthony did an amazing job. He took a lot of pictures and even sent me the video of the injector test. The dealer I bought my truck from even commented on how thorough of a job Anthony did.

Anthony responded quickly and was able to jumpstart my car within 20 minutes of my initial text. He was responsive, professional, and kind - he didn’t charge me for the jump start since the location was convenient. He checked in with me later and turns out the battery likely does need to be replaced, so he will replace my car battery tomorrow morning with a 3 year replacement warranty. I was on the other side of town. I did what I always do and searched Google Maps for options in or around Bellaire, TX (I found out later he services all over Houston and the surrounding area) . I explained the situation to Anthony (the owner operator) and he coordinated getting someone out there within the hour. Adrian was there and already positioning himself to get started when I got there. He quickly diagnosed the situation which included shift interlock solenoid was stuck or failed. He was able to bypass using the shift lock release slot. He also informed me the vehicle had a sub-par battery that was fully drained and more importantly we determined the wrong battery was previously installed. Ford F150 Sport specifically states "AGM" battery. There is a major difference between Lead Acid battery construction and AGM. The Battery management system has to be set to the battery type installed. Putting a Lead Acid in place of the AGM results in too low a charge level. This is what was happening with my Dad's truck. I was quoted the price, the battery that was required was delivered and installed, tested and everything related to the battery type was fully explained. Truck started right up and looks like the shift interlock is no longer a problem. I was told if it gives us problems, just call Anthony and he'd come back out for us now that we're a preferred client. Once the work was completed and I attempted to pay, the bank had security default on the card for "suspicious behavior" so the transaction couldn't go through. Anthony was understanding while I did what I needed to do. All up and all in Houston Mobile Mechanic and Diesel Repair was faster at getting everything fixed than I was at getting him paid. We had a laugh about it all at the end of the day over a couple of beers. I can say hands down if you find yourself in a bind and need a Mobile Mechanic... We had had an existing mechanic cancel on us after a 2 hour wait. We are from out of town and were staying at an Air BnB and needless to say, we don’t know the area. I called Anthony, sent him our address, he called back in 4 minutes and met us within 20 minutes. He gave us options, fixed the issue and had us on the road 15 minutes later! I had an excellent experience with Anthony! My bumper has gotten scratches/misalignment over the years & I also had a bad dent on the side of my car. My bumper recently got messed up after hitting a construction zone and was falling apart/dragging on the road. Anthony was able to replace the bumper within the week and also fixed the side of my car. Now it looks like new! I am extremely grateful ?
