Be careful with these guys, I call to ask how much they will charge me to get my vehicle out of their lot and they said $300.47. Then I went in there to pay that amount and they told it was now 480.47, and I paid them, but once they gave me the receipt, it was stated on the receipt the previous amount they told me on the phone ($300.47), not $480.47. I didn't fight back because It was already late and I didn't want my vehicle another day in there. Be careful with these people, because they will steal you!!
Allstate contacted Miller & Son to tow our broken-down truck, which was parked 45 minutes from our home, and deliver it to our local repair shop. Straightforward request.
A few hours later, I called the repair shop — no truck. So I called Miller & Son. Twice I was hung up on while they were supposedly “putting me on hold.” A bold customer service strategy.
I was then told the truck was not in the parking lot location provided. Interesting, because my husband personally parked it there and gave me the exact location. But sure — maybe it sprouted legs and wandered off?
So I loaded up my toddler and drove 45 minutes to check for myself. And wouldn’t you know it — the truck was sitting exactly where my husband left it. Not hidden. Not misplaced. Not in an alternate dimension. Just… there.
Dispatch was completely unconcerned about the inconvenience or the stress this caused. I was told the driver “tried to call.” The only call I received came about an hour after the pickup window had ended. No voicemail. No text. No follow-up. For all I know, it was a robocall asking about my vehicle’s extended warranty.
Meanwhile, the truck remained exactly where it had been the entire time, patiently waiting for someone to do their job.
If zero stars were an option, I’d happily select it. But since that’s not possible, enjoy this very reluctant one.

Miller & Son used to be my go-to towing company, but over the past couple of years their customer service has completely gone downhill.
Our company signed an agreement with them for towing services for our lot, and we rely on their service to help correct and resolve ongoing parking and vehicle violations. Lately, it’s been nothing but frustration. They don’t answer the phone, and when they finally do, there’s always an excuse on why they can’t come out. It feels like they no longer honor the towing agreement we have in place.
What’s the point of making us complete affidavits, post signs, and send notices to violators if we’re still going to get the runaround when it’s time for them to actually do the tow?
Very poor service and extremely unreliable. I had to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Good morning! Carrie and her brother at Miller and son sold my husband and l a 2004 infinity, after we paid for the car in full, she always came up with excuses of why we couldn’t get our title, when storm beryl came, her excuse then was, the paper work got destroyed during the storm, it wasn’t until the police pulled us over, and towed the car, that we found out they sold us a salvage car, they didn’t own, take my advice, don’t deal with these people, if bugs bunny or road runner has a car lot, go with them, never buy a car from these people, they will take your money, you will never see a title, now we are out of $5500, and no car for my daughter in college.
Miller's showed up via Tow and Go. I blew a tire on 610. The guy was so rude. Yelled at me about my service dog. Wouldn't allow my service dog in the truck. Wouldn't tell my insurance company tow where he was going to tow me. Stole my Barretta 32 out of my car. Towed my Subaru AWD without a flat bed and burned up my transmission.
These guys are a nightmare. Refuse them at all costs. Even for a Tow and Go.
Nationwide used them to pick up my vehicle .. they were supposed to be here at 930. It’s 11:09 and they still have not arrived . I’ve been calling and all the dispatcher has been doing is revising the eta. I called back 40 minutes later she said he’s out of the truck. At this point I’m starting to think they are intentionally delaying the time to arrive . She told me he’s in route you’re next that was over an hour ago. Do not recommend at all. One of the worst experiences ever .. called back now the driver has truck issue and they need to send someone else out to me. Nationwide had to cancel after 2 hours of inconvenience and send another company .. please do not let this company be your final go to .
My truck was stolen from my driveway and the cops found my truck however they used miller and son. One of the worst experiences. Refused to release my vehicle to towing service. Refused to help me or give any kind of update about if my truck was wrecked from the outside, if the tires were even still on the truck. They are extremely rude. Demand you to use their towing service. If I were you, I would immediately get your vehicle out of this place. Do not trust them
they are thieves, they did a 5 minute Straight and they charged me $384 it's a robbery at all I'm so disappointed and I think it's too unfair what they do
Great service! Very good people. They've helped me out alot. I'm a temporary employee that works from time to time and they have always been willing to help.
Larry was dispatched by Porsche West Houston. He had the right equipment and the right attitude. He was intelligent and well informed about transporting exotic avehicles. . After waiting for almost 11 hours for someone to arrive with the correct equipment, he had our car on its way in minutes. It was worth the wait!
My truck was stolen and these guys located it the same day it was stolen. I was never notified they had my truck. They charged me 600 to get my own stolen property out of their yard. I had to find my own vehicle thirteen days later. I finally get to my vehicle and the battery is missing from my truck. The theifs stole my truck to steal my battery is what they expected me to believe. I’m assuming someone in your company is taking the batteries out so they can charge you the 40 dollar pull out fee y’all charge. No thank you I’d rather push my truck out. You would think that during a pandemic some people would have some type of compassion and show a little heart. Very unhappy with your service and I will be contacting the bbb along with the local news to do some investigating on your business. If I could I’d give you a negative star.
Do not use them. Run! Rude and unprofessional. Stuff will come up missing off your vehicle in one night and none knows what happens. All they want is money
I intended to give this towing company a 1 star BECAUSE THAT IS THE LOWEST YOU CAN GO. Miller was rude , obnoxious and did not show up to pick up my vehicle AT ALL. Miller went all day, did not contact us, lied on the insurance company and finally admitted that they overlooked our request that was sitting on their desk. I would not recommend them for towing. MILLER DERSERVES A 0.
Miller and Sons transferred a vehicle here to our shop today 5/17/18. The dispatcher and driver were both very courteous and I would recommend them for future use!
Called road side assistance for a flat tire. Miller and sons came out and changed the tire quickly and were very polite and friendly. I would recommend the business
