I'm usually VERY wary of automotive repair shops but Budd & Company has sincerely been nothing but a joy. They are super accommodating, transparent, and reasonable. I can say with full confidence that they go above and beyond to get you right especially at a time when you just want your car fixed. Really can't recommend them enough.

Drove from phoenix to Seattle to see a friend when my vehicle started having issues. This was the closest shop to me so I brought it in to be looked at. Not being from the area, I was worried about the time and cost of the repair but Greg and the staff quickly set my mind at ease. I couldn’t have asked for better service at a better price! Would highly recommend Budd and Company!

I've had issues the past 2 weeks with my Toyota Rav4. Budd & Co. has kept the car running for many years so I stopped in to deal with a possible tire problem. They quickly fixed it and saw a 2nd problem with one of my lights. So they dealt with that too (thanks!). Then the other day...big problem with overheating. I thought the car was finished. They fixed that issue without any drama. Throughout these problems--big and small--all the staff have been friendly, communicated just great, excelled in technical skills, and been plain very supportive of this old guy with a very old car. These can be troubling times, but in the small corner of the world populated by cars and their troubles, Greg and his team have been a wonderful, even uplifting, experience. And I'm back on the road thanks to Budd. Much appreciated.

**Fast, Honest, and Transparent** Budd & Company Automotive Repair has earned my trust. The first time I went in, I had a slow tire leak and they fixed it immediately, for free, and had me back on the road in about 15 minutes. Months later my car started running rough, so I brought it in right at closing. Brian unlocked the door and took the time to do a quick look and explained they’d need to dig in the next morning, but it looked like a blown head gasket. What really stood out for me was their communication. They text updates with photos, lay out pricing clearly, and give you straightforward options without any pressure. Total transparency and great results. Highly recommend.

I originally came to this shop because it was rated 4.8 on goggle maps, and yeah the service reps are nice, when you don't know that they're trying to rip you off. I came in with a specific problem, they diagnosed a broken part, and ordered a new one. They were going to charge me over $300 for the part, despite the fact that I could but the same part on the dealership website for a little over $200. I had to back and forth call a rep from the dealership and with the auto shop in order to convince them that they were overcharging me $100, which may not be too much for some, but I basically live paycheck to paycheck. Plus their labor price is pretty expensive, I'd recommend going elsewhere for better prices.

the care and customer service this company and its workers have is completely unmatched to any other mechanics my family and i have ever been to. the dedication of top quality service is truly insane. i got my oil changed yesterday, freaked out this morning and called them thinking my oil was leaking.. anthony came over to meet me with no hesitation to make sure my car was safe to drive back home. turns out it was not coming from my car whatsoever and i feel like an idiot. he showed me a video of under my car and showed me how to check my oil just incase. Plus when i went to go pick up my car there were two lolipops in my cup holders and a card, i love that. sorry again Anthony! BEST COMPANY EVER!

I had a leak in one of my tires and walked in to have it checked. Got it patched up and ready to go within 15 minutes. Best of all, they did this free of charge. I live close to this business and it was my first time bringing my car in. My experience was top notch and I think I’ll start bringing my car in for all its needs! Friendly, fast, and honest service!

Amazing Experience! From my first visit to get a quote, to dropping my car off and them getting me a complimentary Lyft back home, to me picking up my car up a day later and them even remembering my name and shaking my hand on the way out! I went for one thing and did not leave with more problems like I hear at some other places. I don’t usually need a lot of car work but at Budd & Company I felt like I could trust them right away and I will be back when needed. No upselling just straight to the point and amazing customer service! A great experience. Thank You!

I had a great experience taking I my old Subaru. I was moving within a week of when I called them(middle of the holidays) and they went the extra mile to find the part I needed before I moved. Everyone was very nice and professional, and they stayed late to ensure the timeline they said. Would use them again and recommend.

My well-used 2006 Chevy Silverado developed an electrical problem (it's a Chevy so of course it did) with the heat / defrost control panel - I had either high heat or no heat at all and I could not direct the airflow to either defrost or dashboard vents. My friends at Budd & Co diagnosed the problem, ordered a replacement control panel and fixed my non-functioning right-hand turn signal to boot. They are a family-run business that's been around for 50 years, which is rare in itself. The team at Budd & Co are professional, thorough, thoughtful and very communicative. I give them 6 out of 5 stars.

On December 23 I went out to get ready to pick up guests arriving from out of state. A front tire was completely flat! I had aired them all up two days before. Wisely, I call Budd & Co., pumped up the tire, and drove to them. Within half an hour they had removed the nail, patched the tire, and sent me on my way - all at no charge! I was even in time for the first guest pick-up. I have huge thanks to offer Budd's.

I called earlier last week to make an appt for a Friday oil change for my 2014 Honda accord. Super easy, but ended up having to call morning of to reschedule due to a work meeting. Greg assured me that was no issue & let me know he could take me around 2:30p that afternoon. (I got the sense that he did that out of pure kindness being that they were busy with plenty other cars when I got there later that day). I walked in and was greeted by Brian whom I ended up talking to the whole 45 mins I was there. Friendly, personable, genuine. Before I knew it my car was done & they let me know I needed new front brakes (something I already suspected). My encounter up to that point was so positive and genuine, including the customer service being given to the other patrons, that when Brian let me know I needed my brakes replaced I trusted his judgement before looking at the quote. Saw the quote and was even more impressed/grateful to have found a shop like this with mechanics that treat their customers like people. Am getting my brakes replaced this morning and will be coming back to Budd & Co. for future needs. Huge shoutout to Brian as well as the owner of the shop, for operating the way they do, you all are so appreciated.

Literally the worst experience I have ever had at an auto shop. I made an appointment for the morning for an oil change and inspection. I dropped off my car on time and they said they would get to it later (even though I had an appointment). I asked what time I should get my car, emphasizing I needed it back later in the day and they said maybe 4 because they close at 5; so they would have my car for 8 hours for two minor things which seemed slightly outrageous. I asked to be contacted if they found any major issues with my car and had my phone on me all day in case. By noon I had not heard anything and the same thing goes by 4. I have an old car, she always has an issue with her so I knew that once they had done the inspection, I would get a call about at least one thing. At 4 I called them and asked for updates and if I could get my car. They said everything was good and yes I could but then put me on hold for 15 minutes. Turns out the never did the inspection and solely did the oil change then asked to keep my car overnight. I had things I needed my car for so cancelled the inspection and went to get my car (they tried to charge me for both the oil change and inspection which was a total of $330) I refused to pay for an inspection they did not do. 2 days later I get a call from them saying that they had done my oil change but the inspection was canceled for an unknown reason, and my car was ready to be picked up. During this call I was in the middle of Oregon, in my car, so I have no clue what car they wanted me to come get. I then proceeded to check my car and found out my oil was leaking. I was just able to get it checked out in a different place and the drain plug on my oil pan was not properly tightened. So this auto shop, changed my oil and did not tighten the plug properly, leading to my leak! I wasn’t going to complain about all the mild inconveniences they caused until the one job they were able to do was messed up. I have been stressed over my car for over a month now because these guys were so unreliable. I don’t know if they are always like this or if it is because I am a woman. Regardless, I don’t suggest going here. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

These guys are great. I’ve been there twice for car repairs. Cars aren’t cheap, I’m not saying they will cut you a deal (or that they should), but they are honest and do good, timely work. Nice guys. I’ll come to them as long as I live in Seattle. They will also leave a snack in your car when you pick it up. Who doesn’t love a Rice Krispie Treat?

Have you seen those curbs in downtown Seattle that jut out onto the road? (Yesler & James) On a dark, rainy, morning and with a single lane half blocked with cones- as I turned my sedan and drove straight over that curb and blew out my front and back passenger tires immediately! So 7am. I call AAA, I have to select a car repair shop on the app- where am I having my car towed to at 8am in downtown Seattle?! What a nightmare- I thought for sure, this will take days, this will cost me an inordinate amount of money! I called the closest garage, was surprised to get an answer and be told they could likely get to my vehicle that day, got tire orders in the afternoon. I got a call when my car went in, explained what my options were, was given a choice of options with prices, and an ability to see line items of cost on web app I was sent via text. By 5:30pm I was back in my vehicle driving home hyper vigilant of curbs. I thought my costs were very respectable for a business in Seattle and for same day service. Everyone I interacted with was gracious and kind. So, staring at AAA app trying to pick a place? Live nearby and need work done? This is a safe selection. Beware the Seattle curbs!

Solid guys, knew what they were doing and super above board. Fixed my 97 corolla's wheel bearings + hubs and a rotted out axle that fell out while they were doing the bearings & hubs. It was great work for a great price. Excellent turn around time. Would recommend to anyone else new to town.

Dylan and Lance are actually angels!!! I walked in, close to closing time on a rainy night before a long holiday weekend, after a friendly tow truck driver suggested them because he trusted them to be honest. My undercarriage cover was popped off and I was totally worried if it could be fixed, addressed before the holiday, and how much it would cost. The guys pulled my car into a bay in less than 10 minutes of being there, fixed me up, and got me out the door in less than 30 minutes and said it was just a little fix and didnt even charge me for it. They were incredibly kind, so efficient, and professional (even though I wasn't when I hugged them for their kindness! Sorry to freak you out guys!) Even with so many cars, so many people, so close to closing, on a holiday week, they were gracious and so helpful! I was so pleasantly surprised and having been so nervous, it felt like a hugeee weight was lifted off my shoulders. I can't thanks these guys enough and if I ever have car issues, I am definitely gonna go to them. What absolute gems. It felt like a place that cares about their community and that they were trustworthy in what they were telling you. The shop is also super clean, organized, and they help so many people in such short wait times. Really impressive!!

Budd & Co have done repair and maintenance on several of my families vehicles in the past few years. Most recently they did a brake service on my car as well as tracked down a rain leak that was soaking my carpets. And when my daughter's car was stolen recently they did the repairs to get her back on the road. All with great customer service including excellent communication. A shout out to Brian who has always been great at providing good front desk service. Highly recommend.

Budd & Co truly seems like a reliable auto shop with friendly, kind & thoughtful employees. I initially came in with a flat tire and the service person, Dell, patched it right up and they were nice enough to let me go with no charge! (I had a nearby competitor tire shop charge $40 for a patch not too long ago so I was pleasantly surprised!) Unfortunately, we learned the tire was still slowly leaking air after it was put back on and it was going to have to be replaced. Brian at the front desk was able to order my new tires and get them all switched out the same day. They even offered a courtesy Lyft drop off and pick up so I wouldn’t be stuck waiting at the shop all day. (My car dealership doesn’t even offer this!!) All in all, I will be a repeat customer here because there were no scammy vibes, no pushy upselling tactics, and all of the workers I interacted with were super professional and friendly. Thank you Budd & Co!!

I brought my car in for a new exhaust manifold and replacement of both lower control arms, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel completely at home. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and helped me feel comfortable with the work my car needed. Not only did they offer the best price in town, but they even added a coupon on top of it - such a relief given how expensive this repair could have been elsewhere. They also went above and beyond by taking care of my transportation to and from work that day on the house, which was incredibly thoughtful and convenient. Their waiting area and office were tidy, welcoming, and well-kept, and every single person I interacted with, from the front-of-house guys (Greg and Brian) to the mechanics (Martin and Anthony), was professional, friendly, and genuine. I especially appreciated their no-BS attitude. I never once felt pressured or persuaded into services I didn’t need. To top it all off, they even left a small care package in my car, which was such a kind surprise. They’re quick to answer the phone, quick to call back, and clearly committed to excellent service. If you’re looking for customer-focused mechanics, this is the place. In the near future, I hope to edit this review and speak to the quality of their workmanship, after I've had my car back for more than a few hours.

I got my 2016 Subaru Impreza 5-speed manual transmission replaced here. They were quick, helpful and fair. Not always the fastest at returning calls and providing updates. Price was reasonable at Budd, but still marginally higher than the other quote I got, but I don't regret getting the work done here. They also threw in some extra maintenance I didn't pay for and removed a nail from my tire for free. It felt like they were there to do business and fix cars not to nickel and dime the customer

My car needed new fuel injectors, and the first shop gave me a pretty steep quote. I was ready to move forward until I decided to ask a few friends for recommendations—and no joke—three different people (who don’t even know each other!) all told me to call Budd’s. That was all the confirmation I needed. I called and spoke with Brian, who was incredibly kind and professional. I explained the issue, and he got to work on it right away—no delay at all. He was thorough, asked all the right questions about my car, and then gave me a quote that was $1,000 less than the other shop. WOW. Just WOW. Budd’s repaired my car quickly, provided me with a loaner vehicle, and made the entire process completely stress-free. I’ll definitely be returning for all my future car needs. My wife’s car stalled at the intersection in front of this shop. We planned to have a tow truck take it to our local shop, but couldn’t even get the car into neutral because it’s completely electrical. During a very busy time in their day they pulled most of the team out to help move the car off the street. We weren’t even taking it to their shop! Very kind and friendly staff.

I was so happy to discover Budd’s! The whole experience was very helpful. Bryan, up front, was an excellent communicator and I appreciated the honest feedback concerning the issue my car was facing. Service was done in a timely manner, and we are very satisfied. I would definitely come back again and recommend Budd’s to others, especially with a diesel engine.
