Has done great work on my Saab, never disappointed. Update: My Saab that they worked on for over 5 years has been totaled. They were very supportive, and even helped me find a new Saab that I adore. These guys are great!

Nate and Pete are unbelievable! And the rest of the staff I'm sure! Even the little pups they have to greet you! I took my 2001 Saab there expecting the worst. Nate was so awesome with explaining what needed to be done then, what could wait a few weeks and what can wait until I was ready. I had an early morning issue once and Pete took the time to stop by my house to check on why my battery had died and even followed me to the shop to ensure I got there safely. I started going here because I have a Saab and not too many places have the ability to work on them, but these guys are so trustworthy, I'd go there with ANY vehicle. If you are tired of being overcharged and told everything needs fixing this second or else, this is the place to go. Thanks Nate and Pete! You guys are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!!

Nate is super honest and knowledgeable, we've been taking our Sprinter and Volvo V70 to Troll for years and they always take care of us. No upsells or unnecessary repairs ever, and if it's something they don't do Nate always gives great advice on how to proceed.

We do not have a Saab but bought and have it serviced by Nate and his crew at Troll Motors. They always do a very good job at a fair price. We feel like we are getting a family member to work on our car there and have never been disappointed by their service to us. We highly recommend their service on other makes as well as Saabs.

Troll Motors is a quality shop that is professional and reliable. I trust them enough to have sent three of my cars there for service: fixing convertible hydraulics, two water pump replacements (different cars) as well as suspension work. The crew is relatively small but they keep busy, and I always enjoy seeing the interesting cars there, Saab or otherwise. Would recommend.

Took my beloved Saab 900 in for repair after an accident. Work was done with care at a reasonable price. Combination of solid mechanical fix with attention to aesthetics. Looks better than before the accident!

Troll motors is one of the last specialty Saab shops in west coast. Nate has full inventory of new and used Saab parts. His team of mechanics can do any repair on Saabs and work on other cars as well. Whether your a do it yourself fixer or need regular maintenance and service Nate is the man who will set you up. They also sell rare and hard to find vintage classic Saab parts.

For years I've taken my German cars to the dealer for every service. Now that I know about Troll motors, that is changing. The rates seem fair (considerably cheaper than the dealership), the communication was very clear, and the mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly. What more could you ask for in a mechanic? They even entertained my 3 year old daughter's 20-questions at drop off (she is really into cars, and they were great with kids).

These guys are truthful and priced honestly - no chance of being taken advantage of or being ripped off! Over the years they have kept my Saab purring and reliable. Nate and Ian are always respectful to me, as a woman, and never treat me like I don’t know about engines and cars. They run a solid business and most everyone with Saabs takes them to Troll because of all the reasons above. Their reputation is golden!

My Nissan truck broke down this morning. While I called Ian to try to get my truck in, he walked me through a few steps over the phone to see if my truck would start before bringing it in. (Says a lot right there). After an attempted jump start, I got it towed in. While an appointment was normally necessary, he said he would try to take a look and see what he could do. Not only was he able to diagnose my initial problem, but he brought up two more issues that could be potential problems. He was able to get everything fixed by the end of the day and his prices were reasonable. While they specialize in SAAB, I have a VW and said he will be able to do work on that one as well. I live in Beacon Hill and it’s so nice to have a mechanic in my neighborhood who I can trust and treats people well. No more West Seattle for me. Thanks Ian and Nate!

Troll Motors is THE PERFECT PLACE to get your Saab serviced. I have been taking my 2005 9-3 there for over a year. They do routine maintenance, upgrades, manage body work and insurance, as well as engine repairs and adjustments. They know everything about Saabs and can rapidly diagnose and solve most problems. Ian and Nate get to know you, and your car really well. They had several picnics in summer 2016 for customers and families. You can trust their guidance and advice regarding your car. It has been a joy doing business with them.

I have never been so compelled to write a business a review BUT Troll Motors is a rare breed of people and they deserve it. They create community and take care of people as much as their cars. They know everyone by name, their office is covered in thank you cards from people who, if they were all represented here, would max out the business ratings for this place in a second. Modestly tucked away in Georgetown, Nate and Ian have been doing great work for over 20 years, specifically helping Saab lovers like myself keep our babies purring happily. They throw barbecues in the summer and parties in the winter for their clients! Every interaction I have had has been refreshingly honest, assuring, educational and frankly, FUN! I love just hanging around the shop waiting for my car to get its oil change. This is the kind of place that'll say "Well we saw that this was loose so we went ahead and tightened it for you" and nothing shows up on the bill. Troll Motors is TRUSTWORTHY with QUALITY work! I will always bring my cars to them. They repaired my Jeep engine, reviewed the diagnostic report with me, and tested my SUV to make sure it performed like it should - safe and reliable. The owners, Ian and Nate, are kind, professional, and easy to reach. I found Troll Motors by a recommendation by a friend who had their truck's engine rebuilt, so I took my Jeep in for a second quote. They saved me money and my Jeep! Why do I say Trustworthy? My first quote from the Jeep dealership recommended engine repair costs at more than $8,000 and that my car was now worthless except for scrap ($500). I didn't believe them. My Jeep was in great shape so I jumped into my car and drove to Troll Motors. Troll told me that I needed a few repairs for only $1,700. My Jeep is running great and Troll Motors lowered my engine repair cost, saved me my Jeep and the unnecessary cost to buy a new car! That's Trustworthy!
