this was honestly the best car shop experience I’ve ever had. They were incredibly nice, had very fair pricing, and even though they were busy they were still able to get the car back to me relatively quickly.

My 4Runner’s battery died today while parked a block from Wilson Bros Automotive. Without hesitation Adam offered to help and give me a jump, He then had me meet him back at the garage and kept the shop open 15 mins past closing so that he could recharge my battery. His generous behavior and positive attitude really helped turn my bummer of a situation around. I will be back next time my vehicle has an issue!
They were able to help me out with my Hyundai and explained things thoroughly. And they have fair pricing which is awesome! I'll definitely be coming here for future repairs.

My second service there, my second review. I love these fellas.
I took my car in insisting my CV joint / axle was bad, based on self diagnosis. Pretty much a license to replace it, broken or not. But they found a bracket that was loose and probably rubbing, that caused the noise. They reinstalled it at no charge and so I paid to replace some brake pads while they had it. And when was the last time you heard 'it just needs pads, rotors are fine'. Elsewhere, it always seems to turn into a full brake job with calipers and the works. I'm just very impressed with their honest work.
I have been going to Wilson Brothers for years. It's always been a positive experience. Great service and timely, high quality repairs. On top of that they always advise when a repair is not worth it. And it's great to support a local Ballard business and Ballard family.
Needed an oil change and needed the windshield wiper sprayer working again. Vary fair price for both and as an added bonus Adam looked up the recalls that had not been done to our van so we can take it to Toyota and get them fixed for free.

I was given a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport Limited from a family member. I was told that there were problems with coolant leaking from the truck, but no leak could be found by their mechanic. Their solution was to continually and intermittently put coolant in the system. I did not wish to do this. Having lived in Ballard, I had known of Wilson Brothers Automotive’s good reputation and decided to bring my truck in.
Adam worked with me, with a calm demeanor, he explained the solution to my truck’s problem, in a understandable way. Although the repair was a timing belt and water pump replacement and some other things I gladly agreed. I felt this would be money well spent.
I dropped off my truck and it was returned in about a day (as agreed).The leak had been discovered and I had a new timing belt on a 200k vehicle, that I was given, which will now go for many more thousands of miles. The former owners were going to scrap it.

Adam is so smart when I ask all the car questions that I am clueless about. Gives you what is needed to fix a problem and doesn't upsell. Is reasonable price wise. Is a true gem!
I have been taking my cars and trucks to Wilson Bros for over 6 years now. I can't say enough good things about them. They have always done great work at a very reasonable price. They seem to always diagnose the problem and always come to the quoted price or below. Can't thank em enough.
So many reasons I like Wilson Bros. I shopped around at three other places getting my car serviced when I moved to Seattle. Now I finally found a place where I really trust them, and don't feel taken advantage of. They are honest, well priced and not sexist. Am recommending to all my friends.
On our way to the Outer Banks our engine blew an hour and half out from our destination. It was Labor Day weekend, and we were lucky enough to be able to reach Freddy the service manager. They came out and towed our vehicle back to their shop. They diagnosed the issue for us, unfortunately the repair was too large to do while we were away. Freddy came in the following Saturday so that we could retrieve the vehicle and take it home. Thanks again for going the extra mile!
I had my car towed there after a dead battery and they were very accomdating. They had it fixed and ready to go all in a day when I called earlier that morning. I would highly recommend this auto shop.
Expertise, flexibility, honesty. I've had two VWs seviced here for years. The Wilsons are professional and laid-back. They don't try talking me into more services than I ask for. Once they even told me that my warrantee probably covered the repair and to take it to a dealership. Didn't charge me for the diagnosis! Many times I've dropped my car off the night before and/or picked it up after hours (using a spare key to unlock it). That flexibility makes a huge difference in convenience. They are VW experts. These are unusual cars that need people who are familiar with them. I recommend Wilson Brothers!
I just took my car there for the first time and I am glad I did. The service was great. They also did some small fix-up for free. I am waiting for couple parts to arrive. So my car won't be fixed for few days, but I am very happy I read the reviews before decided on Wilson Bros Automotive.

These guys are always awesome. I work in Ballard right by their shop and they have always done great work on my late model Range Rover and VW Passat. Prices are fair and it feels good to support a quality local business.
