I called at noon about an engine light issue. They told me to bring it in at 1 PM. Then they had it fixed by the afternoon. Great service and a fair price. I'll definitely be back if I have more car trouble! ??
Mark is a great person and an honest mechanic. My truck needed the rear differential replaced, so I contacted a dozen shops around the town. Unlike most of them who refused to provide estimates without diagnostic appointments, Mark insisted on checking my vehicle the same evening and quoted me $1900. The other shops' offers (ABC, King's, Auburn Offroad) were $2 – 4.5k! After purchasing the parts myself, my final total with his labor got even lower – just around $1400. I can't wait for the next breakdown to use his services.
Mark was so incredibly helpful. He explained everything that was going on with my car, how to get it fixed up (just a simple belt change), and even gave me advice on how to maintain it on my own better to save money on repairs. I will also go to him from now with this kind of service. Pricing was fair and reasonable - it was all explained in detail so I understood what I was paying for. The shop is small and they are busy, but they are good to work you into the schedule.
Went in to get a leaky transmission line fixed and they went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed. We will be back for all of our vehicle repairs. Great place and people here!

Was quoted 1,200$ for a new clutch when it already had a new one installed couldn’t do a simple clutch adjustment and air bleed wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone they have no clue what they’re doing my car wasn’t even moved when I got back was in the same spot I left it
Mark fixed my 2015 Yukon denali XL saved me alot of $$$ from the Dealer,
The Dealer was replace the whole motor about $15,000 and was going to take months Mark did a rebuild and is running great a 2 Years later, I do t trust anyone e but Mark with my Vehicles.

I dealt with this repair shop back in 2005 with the original owners. Decided to go back and talk about some transmission work with the new owners, and I must say, I’m impressed! They got me right in on some warranty or covered work and rebuilt my transmission 100%! My truck runs great! They now have my 2006 Chrysler 300 hemi for a complete transmission rebuild and I am totally confident. This is going to be a beautiful job! Thanks Mark!
I've known Mark and he's have been fixing my families cars for years. I was tired of paying high prices at Dealerships & getting average to below average service. I don't care about frills and whistles that dealers offer. So, no loaner car available. He uses factory or OE parts. If the repair isn't really needed right away, he'll let me know, so I can do it later, if I wanted. Since he does good work and great prices, he's busy, so be patient. You might have to schedule out a bit.
I just can't imagine having a better experience with an automotive repair shop. The clutch on my 04 Toyota Rav4 was completely out, barely driveable. Mark and his staff totally took care of me and the car feels brand new! Can't recommend these guys strongly enough. Honest, quick & smart, and stuck to their estimate, to the penny.
Mark truly seems to care about providing the best care for folks and their vehicles. When my 77 Chevy K10 was having trouble and another shop misdiagnosed what was going on- Mark went above and beyond to help me within my budget and to assure me he could get the old truck back on the road. He is very familiar with classic Chevy trucks, which is such a relief. I will continue to use his services and will tell anyone I know looking for a good mechanic.

Mark, the owner, quickly diagnosed the problem with my 2005 Lexus GX470. He gave me a very fair quote and repaired the transfer case and replaced my front wheel bearings once he found they were also worn. He sourced the best parts to properly repair my vehicle.
I highly recommend his shop and trust his extensive history in repair and service of transmissions.
He fix my Acura which had many problems and I never had to return it for the problems. Mark is very professional and doesn’t mind giving you a deal that you can afford very reasonable and honest.

I called ahead to ask questions regarding my Jeeps problems. It had been broken down and also vandalized. They were able to diagnose my Jeep with a bad differential and gave me the options for a used or rebuild. The owner suggested rebuild which I myself was inclined to go with. He said that way it would be warrantied for 1yr because of the new parts. He was able to show me all my parts including the broken parts. I don’t see how but I wanted to include that picture in this review. I received great service, great experience and would definitely recommend to others.
I had them rebuilt the toploader (manual transmission) on my 1965 Mustang.
Then something was wrong with a synchronizer because it was grinding between 3rd & 2nd while downshifting.
Fortunately they have a one year warranty after a rebuilt so I had them fix it again but then it was grinding again like if they didn’t do anything. They realized that they didn’t know that they had to use a specific oil for this old school transmission.
On my way home after a 3rd rebuilt the transmission was starting to grind again.
Once in my garage I looked under the vehicle and saw that the transmission was leaking.
Waist of time and money. They might be good with newer vehicles but don’t let them put their hands on your classics.
It was christmas eve, and my car barely made it into the lot. Mark explained they were closing in 30 minutes, but promised to look at it 1st thing on 12/26. He texted me updates, pictures and cost which helped immensely. I was able to pick it up the 27th! He basically diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts AND got it fixed within 2 days! I'm highly impressed!
I’m a couple months late on this review but better late than never! I was extremely impressed with the service I received at Seattle Transmission!! I took my Jetta in for a clutch replacement based on a friend’s recommendation. They literally charged me half of what the first place I took it to quoted me, very reasonable labor rates! Plus they fit me in last minute and stayed late to change my headlights and troubleshoot some dash lights that had been on for a while at no extra charge. I will definitely be going back and recommending them to friends and family!
