Del Rey is amazing. When most car shops don't quite know what's wrong they charge me every way they can. Del Rey was willing to take a look, guess, and pivot, and only charge me for the work that needed to be done. Highly recommend, and even though they're a bit far, I am going to go there for all my car repair needs moving forward.
I went to Del Ray's Motors after getting a referral from my wife's friend to look at my car. Julio identified and fixed the problem within a matter of minutes. He was a gentleman and was extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend coming here to get your vehicle looked at and assessed. If you need your car diagnosed and or repaired please look no further. Julio was able to find the problem with my husband car and fix it that day. I understand not every case is like that . We live about 30 miles north , a friend referred us to Julio of Del Rey Motors after she was able to purchase a well running and looking used car from them. What a great referral and we'll worth the drive thank you Julio.
This place is incredible! Julio is super personable, upfront, and honest, and charges the best rates in the city. You won't find a better price anywhere else. I got my A/C compressor swapped and I couldn't be happier!
A true mechanic who cares about his customers need and is whiling to work with you to get you back on the road...my car was without out heat for a good minute and right now its super cold. After trouble shooting everything myself just took on down to the shop to find out it was only a blown fuse...most shops would of made me pay the full diagnostic 150-250$ he told me "give me what you can" i was gonna pay 75-80$ he only charged me 60$. He very understanding and gets the job done in a timely manner...I highly recommend taking your vehicle to him if you have any issues
My dad’s 2013 Toyota Prius started giving me trouble with the 12V battery, so I called around. Jiffy Lube didn’t have the battery, but Del Rey ordered it and had it delivered to their shop within an hour. I was honestly really impressed with how quickly they handled everything.
Shoutout to the owner’s son — I really appreciate the help and the urgency. Places like this deserve more recognition. It’s hard to find shops that genuinely go out of their way to help, especially if you’re used to larger businesses and corporations. They definitely went above and beyond.
I do want to mention that from the outside, the shop looks a bit run-down and easy to overlook since it’s connected to a tire shop and the mechanic side recently opened — but don’t let that fool you. The service inside is solid, honest, and reliable. I’m grateful to have them in the neighborhood and will definitely be referring friends and family in the area.
Odyssey, Rav4, this is an excellent family shop! I have had control arm work, alternator, timing belt, brakes and oil change on the Odyssey. (OH and power steering) work van...cheaper to get an excellent mechanic then buy a new one!!
Rav 4 brakes, rear bumper, transmission flush. The keep both of my vehicles running great.

I gave a chance to this small tire shop on Lake City Way when my coolant all leaked out at work. I was able to get there with some spare coolant I had, and parked in front as I'm a 2 block walk and that kind of convenience is hard to resist. The next morning I talked to Julio explained the situation along with a few other things I wanted addressed while I was there.
It was all done by the next day and for an extremely reasonable amount of money. I've just moved into the neighborhood and don't plan on leaving for a while, so I'm happy that I found a good place to get my vehicles worked on that is so close. It's a family owned and run business and the vibes are good. I will definitely use again, hopefully not too soon. ?
Terrific friendly service and skilled mechanics. Right next to the tire shop which is also good. Although it's not a posh corporate place. This is a small business I got good quality work at a fair price
