Jorge did great work and I’d take my bike back without hesitation. They provided excellent advice and were very responsive to questions.

Great job. So helpful and friendly moving my Electric Senior Scooter to my new place. Highly recommend Scarabwerks

These guys are incredible! Burning the midnight oil! Got me in for a tire change when I hit every red light, got a late start, and couldn't find the entrance! Super amazing group of dudes! Thank you all so much!! Seriously it's after five and I feel terrible about it. Thank you again!

George is a real one. If you are like me and need a knowledgeable tech who will have a conversation with you about your bike, he's your guy. He is clearly passionate about bikes and happy to share that passion and expertise with his customers. I learned some important things about my bike from him and he set my mind at ease about some quirks I ran into. His prices are more than fair and his shop is impeccable. You won't find a better motorcycle shop than Scarabwerks.

Knowledgeable and trustworthy. Identifies and solves issues without emptying your wallet. Finally a BMW repair shop where you feel you will get the real scoop and no bull! I’ll be back 😀

So happy I went to Scarabwerks! Amazingly clean and organized shop that you can tell allot of love has gone into. Jorge is an amazing guy who is very friendly and easy/fun to chat with and ask questions about anything bike related. Took great care of me in a very short amount of time to get my new rear tire put on same day I called and I will 100% be going back to him to have him put on my front tire and some clutch work in the future. Cannot overstate how awesome this experience was for me, and I look forward to going back for more bike work when the weather gets nicer again and just to hang out with cool bike people. Fantastic vibes all around!

This place is awesome. They did a super professional job installing dashcams on my Yamaha xMax, to where you'd think it was installed that way from the factory. Great pricing, friendly staff, quick turnaround, and they were able to get me in at a time convenient for my schedule. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for future work.

Not enough stars to rate this place. Even 6 would be too low. We were halfway through a ten day trip from the east coast when one of the bikes started acting up. A quick phone call to SCARABWERKS and they said to stop by to check it out. Stopped what they were doing to help us out and get us back on the road. Pretty sure they skipped lunch. Really cool guys. Very knowledgeable and a bunch of restored bikes sitting around. It was like a mini museum. Wish this place wasn't thousands of miles away from home. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you guys so much!

Scarabwerks is the only shop I've found in greater Seattle that actually feels like a local garage with good honest people. Jorge answered my first call quickly and scheduled an on-site, pre-purchase inspection within 48hours. He was on time and walked through the inspection with me, noting the same things I had seen. I completed the sale on the Moto Guzzi while he loaded it into his transport van. Jorge worked with me to find the ideal tires for my riding style, changed them on a flat rate, then brake pads and fluid change, rear drive fluid, engine oil and transmission fluid. Work was completed before his estimated delivery and to exacting standards. Fair pricing and a great vibe every time we talked. I'll be working with him again soon to design a highway lighting solution for this bike.

This shop is awesome. Ran into some mechanical issues on a 10 day ride from Pennsylvania and they got my bike right in to look at. They laid out all my options and were able to make repairs on the spot to get me back on the road, completely saving the trip. Really cool collection of older bikes and restoration projects. I wish this shop was local to me.

SCARABWERKS was a dream to work with - I had shipped a bike from a salty beach environment that was super rusted and not safely rideable - and George coordinated directly with the shipping company, did a thorough inspection and recommendation on the work needed to make it rideable and went through options to make it look better too :) when I was too busy with work to make it in, they helped arrange delivery to my house to help me out as well. Plus their branding is awesome! Highly recommend for both aesthetic and functional work needed on motorcycles

Jorge is great! All of my friends use him and recommended me to him. He did incredible work on my new bike. Put Denali auxiliary lights on it and other things and the wiring is amazing. His work is great, he is the only person that will touch my bike moving forward!

I was in a bind to move my motorcycle after break-ins at my apartment. Scarabworks came to the rescue that day to bring my bike with a broken ignition to the shop. They even helped push my bike from deep in the lower garage out to the van. Seeing it securely strapped inside a spacious van was also extra nice. Communications was A+, the price was less than half what a normal towing company quoted me and much less than other motorcycle specific towing companies. Needless to say, highly recommended, and although I hope I never need their services again, I would do it again should the unfortunate occasion arises.

The crew at Scarabworks changed out the tires on my Honda trail bike. Easy to schedule with, very reasonably priced, and had me out the door in very short time even with the heavy work load they had in the garage. I’ll be bringing my other bike in next week for tires as well. Super nice guys to chat bikes with and great service.

Great man, great mechanic, great garage! I was touring the US all the way from Florida to Seattle and badly needed a new tire, called Gorge at 5PM and he did it right away!!

I needed the forks resealed on my Triumph Tiger 1050 and SKARABWERKS came through on timing, price, and friendliness! I got quality work done for a very fair price and will be returning for any future needs! Highly recommend for anything from new to vintage.

I took a dash into Seattle last week to have my bike’s braking system checked out because I didn’t feel it was functioning quite properly, and had a fantastic experience with Jorge at Scarabwerks, an immaculate BMW garage up at 96th and Aurora. He had been recommended to me by a client a couple of years ago. I was prepared to spend a few hours going out to breakfast and waiting around, and paying the requisite 3-digit tab, so I was shocked when he was done in about 15 minutes for bleeding the ABS system and brakes, and checking the proper functioning/travel of the rear brake lever (my original concern), at the cost of under $50. Jorge got sick of the corporate dealership model, and started his own place where he charges by how much time the job takes, not by what the book says. He wants to get the job done and people back on the road ASAP - sounds good to me!

This was my first time ever bringing my motorcycle to a shop, as I’m a new rider and just got my Kawasaki ninja 500 a few months ago. Unfortunately I got rear ended on the road about a month ago, and Jorge was kind enough to come pick up my motorcycle within an hour. Overall, the bike was in his shop for a month due to all the parts needing to be ordered. I had my doubts at first because this shop specializes in BMWs and mine was a Japanese brand. However, Jorge was friendly and communicative, and very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. I found it really helpful and I knew I could trust him to get everything put together. I was really wary at first given that I’m completely new to this, and I’ve never fixed a bike before. However, he seemed to be pretty honest and the prices he listed for parts and labor seemed fair. The major things that were replaced were the rear fender, tail lights, and frame for the exhaust. I will say though, when I showed the receipt to a few of my more experienced rider friends, they did mention that the price for labor was a bit higher than average. However, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with paying extra for good quality work, and I’m very happy with how my bike turned out when I went and picked her up. Overall, I am definitely planning to keep coming back to Scarabwerks and I sincerely hope that this review encourages others to bring their business here as well :)

SCARABWERKS is an excellent place to bring both new and classic bikes. It’s rare to find someone with the skill and passion to properly work on vintage motorcycles, but Jorge is truly exceptional. He has a great personality and genuinely enjoys sharing the spirit of motorcycling. I trust him more than any dealership in fact, I first met him when he was working at the dealer. He’s since outgrown that environment, and expanded to SCARAWERKS. I only bring my bike to him. Highly recommended.

I reached out to Jorge based on a recommendation from a mutual friend to get tires swapped out on a Multistrada. Super positive experience start to finish. Jorge responded back to all messages quickly, got tires ordered right away and was able to get them on the bike sooner than I'd expected. I'm looking forward to having a great locally owned shop in the neighborhood!

I had a fantastic experience at Scarabwerks! I came in needing help with installing a new thick fat tire on my e-bike, and the team was incredibly helpful and professional. They took care of the installation quickly and made sure everything was fitted perfectly and safely. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and they clearly take pride in their work. I was apprehensive about asking motorcycle shop to work on the tire for my ebike but these guys went above and beyond. Highly recommend them for any motorcycle or e-bike dat tire needs-

Updated Review from most recent experiences: I recently had an extremely frustrating and costly experience with Jorge at Scarabwerks, and I feel compelled to warn other potential customers. First, I initially brought my BMW G 310 GS in for diagnostics and repair. The bike was in the shop for months, while parts were ordered and priorities shifted to more enjoyable projects or higher paying customers. Despite paying for diagnostics and a subsequent repair cost of $2,549.58, the issues were far from resolved. After picking up the bike, it broke down the very same day. Although Jorge picked up the bike, he had it for an extended period without proactive updates—I had to repeatedly reach out for every status update. When I finally heard back, Jorge explained that the cylinder head was damaged and suggested that further repairs weren’t advisable due to additional metal shavings found in the engine, which I feel could have been discovered several stages prior to when the news was delivered. While I appreciated the honesty at this stage, it felt like too little, too late. Since the bike sat so long in the shop without attention, several costly ordered parts were unable to be returned. This irresponsibility was passed along to me, the customer, to pay for parts that could no longer be used. Ultimately, I was left with a bike that was still inoperable due to an unsuccessful repair job and had to go through the inconvenience of scrapping my motorcycle, losing both time and significant money in the process. In summary, my experience with Scarabwerks was a nightmare of delays, poor communication, and a lack of effective repairs. I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for reliability and professionalism in motorcycle maintenance and repair.

Pretty dang happy my first time with Jorge. He was able to get me in for an appointment fairly quick. Easy to find and it was an awesome shop! Great guy too. We chatted and although I am not a collector of motorcycles, Jorge was kind to answer all my questions. While there I felt comfortable and appreciated his easy candor. I'll be coming back to Scarebwerks! Seth 2015 Yamaha 950 Tourer

Really great little local shop, highly recommend! I needed someone to dust off / clean out / grease up a bike that had been sitting outside for a couple of years. Thanks to Jorge and his team, I now feel confident that the bike is in good shape to get out riding again! They had it in and out in a day, with great attention to detail, and really pleasant to chat with.

Highly recommended! 👍🏻 Jorge is a great mechanic, a really good guy, and he truly cares about the work he does. He's trustworthy and honest, which is what you want when getting work done. Give Scarabwerks your motorcycle business. You'll be happy you did!

Great quality shop! Jorge’s attention to detail and his passion for bikes make every visit a pleasure, always assured that my whip is in tip top condition. He recently serviced my 1250GS for a 8K mile journey to Alaska and NWT- bike performed flawlessly with no problems and his tire recommendation was on point for the remote dirt roads. His commitment to quality and safety provides confidence in every mile.

Scarabwerks motorcycle repair shop is the best place to go for custom work and scheduled maintenance. Jorge has been working on my bikes for a decade now and I have always been thrilled with his expertise and advice. He has a tremendous amount of experience and expertise in modifying and upgrading bikes to suit your preferences and needs. He can install specialty new parts, perform custom modifications, or repair seasoned parts to fill functionality. Jorge has always kept my motorcycle in top condition, with regular oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections. Most recently Jorge installed an upgraded custom rear shock and recommended new tires that have been a game changer in my riding experience, especially while riding down 15th in Ballard. He is always friendly, professional, and honest. The work is done fast and charges reasonable prices. I trust Scarabwerks with my bike and I’m always satisfied with their work. This is the only motorcycle repair shop I go to!

I won’t trust anyone else with my bike. Jorge has the best customer service and provides the best quality of support. He not only helps with maintenance, but also helped me modify my heated grips, tail light, turn signals and more. His attention to detail and white glove service are beyond anyone in the greater Seattle area!
