We feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon Your Family Automotive while visiting Seattle. After calling around for quotes to replace an alternator, they stood out immediately—and they absolutely delivered. It’s a true hole-in-the-wall gem, and the word “family” perfectly describes the care and honesty behind their work. Kind, efficient, and completely trustworthy, this shop is everything you hope to find in a mechanic. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for integrity, reliability, and genuine service.

I towed my car to their shop around 10am. It was a starter replacement and an oil change and they finished it by 4pm. Also their pricing is better than the others, it’s pretty fair. They did a good job and im satisfied. Will be coming back in the future.

Fetene was lovely- I changed the filter and oil in my car so I gave this place a call to ask if I could drop off my old oil for them to recycle. He said I could. I also had an old battery, he said they could take that too. Swung by, walked into the office, he was on the phone but still took the time to greet me and directed me to leave the stuff on his desk. Really appreciate the help!

Pulled up with a flat tire and no appointment at 9am and they fixed it right away!! Only $25 and they were so fast and friendly, I’m not even going to be late for work. 10/10 recommend!

Came in with a bolt in my tire that was tanking my tire pressure. Walked in with no appt after 4pm on a Monday and was done in less than 30min. Great price ($27) and I was on my way. Looking forward to having this shop be my go to in the neighborhood!

Fetene, his son, and the rest of the team is incredible. I had a strange issue happening with my car. Fetene was very communicative, explaining how that part of the car works, calling me often, and checking every step of the way to make sure work was approved before going forward with it. He suggested the least expensive repair instead of doing more expensive work that might not be necessary. I needed the car by a certain time and the part was delayed. We were originally going to schedule the repair for another day once the part arrived. Instead, Fetene told me "your car is ready" and when I went to pick it up I found out he had completed the repair in less than an hour! He said "I knew you needed it today so I wanted to make sure it was ready". The issue with my car is fixed! I'm so grateful and impressed and will definitely be returning if I ever need anything else with my car. If you're looking for someone to do work on your car, look no further!

INCREDIBLE SERVICE! Got a flat tire just as I was leaving Seattle for a week road trip down the Oregon Coast. I was already running behind schedule, so I was stressed out. I stopped by Friday afternoon on my way out, they patched it up in under 20 mins, and I was back on the road. The owner and workers are super friendly and honest. I wasn’t sure if a patch vs. new tire was best since I was doing a solo road trip, but they informed me of my options, I went with a patch, and had no issues on my trip!

I can’t recommend this car shop enough! Fetene and the staff are very friendly and always go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. He takes the time to explain everything in detail, so you know exactly what’s going on with your vehicle. On top of that, the quality of their work is outstanding.

With the mixed reviews, my partner and I were a bit dubious of bringing our old van into this shop especially when we've had bad experiences as queer people at other auto shops. However, they totally exceeded our expectations! Not only did they fix the issue we were having with our brakes, they did it super fast! Our van is our only method of transportation and we rely on her for our business and they were able to fix her in such a short amount of time! On top of this, they charge a lower hourly rate than other shops and they were so sweet & friendly. They've made a loyal repeat customer out of us this weekend. If you need someone to look at your car, give them a call especially if your vehicle is older than 20yrs. The head mechanic has a wealth of knowledge, experience, and patience. Totally worth it!

Had a screw in the tire and stopped in here. They patched the tire and had us back on the road within 20 minutes, and all at a very reasonable price. Also, the two guys I interacted with were very kind and a pleasure to talk to.

I ran into a tire issue and was helped by David, who provided excellent and very friendly service. He patched up the tire efficiently at a great price, getting me back on the road in about 10 minutes. Highly recommend them for quick and professional help!

Best Auto mechanic in area. Fair pricing and honest. Pricing for bid was less than other shops. Was able to inspect my car quickly and turn off my check engine light that set off from dead battery. I'm definitely going to go back for all my auto mechanic needs.

I can’t recommend Your Family Auto enough! Fetene found the screw in my tire, repaired it quickly and I was on my way again in 20 minutes. He was very friendly and showed me the process of fixing the tire, which was pretty cool to see. I will be returning for any future car repairs and look forward to continuing to support a great neighborhood business.

I had a faulty starter solenoid. They listened when I told them the issue and were able to take my car on very short notice and fix it same day. Fantastic experience, friendly, easy to work with and cost efficient. I can definitely recommend going here as a woman who has run out of patience for condescending mechanics. They were lovely!

Really great shop. Been in a few times for general maintenance, and they've always provided reasonable quotes and pretty quick turnaround times. Fetene (who I think is the owner), is a really nice guy and has always answered any questions I had about repairs instead of brushing them off. Overall, great, reliable, and communicative.

I had the pleasure of working with Fantene and his team after my transmission blew. We worked together to source a reconditioned trans, he fitted and serviced my truck in a timely manner & got me back on the road.
