Tow truck drive seemed inebriated and said he would wait for me to get payment to disconnect my car from his truck but took off immediately. My car was also broken into while in the impound lot.
OSHA needs to investigate this place. This place is extremely dangerous and needs to be shut down. It started off by having us to walk through the very muddy lot by ourselves with no escort to guide us to where we were going or to show a consideration of safety. We almost were run over by a tow truck when the driver wasnt paying attention. We also witnessed a car being dropped and the front of the car being heavily damaged by the piece of equipment. When I went to go complain, they claimed that nobody was in charge. Its only a matter of time before someone gets injured or worse. This experience and the circumstances that led up to it where so horrible that I dont feel safe visiting the city and would recommend people to go else where to spend their hard earned dollars.
absolute jerks towed my car the second it went over the two hour limit while i was at school and couldn’t do anything else about it and when i called to check if my car was there the guy on the phone was so rude
Tell me why they somehow dont use the same system as the DOL to see i sold the vehicle, im not paying 1000$$+ for a car i havent had in months, get your guys stuff together
The owners operate this yard like a pick n pull, leaving the yard unsecured and open to anyone to freely smash and take what they like. This problems existed for years and they’ve done nothing to fix it. They are complicit and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
If i could give 0 as well i would lmfao, Wrongfully towed my car 10 minutes before the so called " time zone " i wasnt even near was over. towed my car 10/29/2025 and marked it as 10/22/2025, told me i had 3 days to pick it up, as if they were ready to sell and auction it.
windows were pulled down with hand marks like they were trying to get inside but couldn't because I HAD THE KEYS.
as were going to pick it up they decided to play 21 questions like it wasn't my vehicle, dents on my trunk, the back side and somehow was only there for less than 5 hours.
Dont understand how you havent been sued yet, i understand theyre people doing their job but however trying to lie about impound dates and days for owners to come pick up their vehicles when its longer than just 3 days is an issue.
Thank god i picked it up a couple hours after or who knows what would have happened.

Yess I know they were just doing there job but literally I was attacked by another person who has nothing to do with them she literally took my keys for the other car that got impounded because I was there trotting to get my other car out that this lady got impounded in the first place cops came actually did nothing problem thinking the worst because my friend is a pretty paining lady I mean she Shute kauned me actually put her hands on me stole my wallet and my phone and cops made me leave!!!! So here I am two weeks ago had to beg for money to even get home and family looking for me just made it home 54 days ago witch now the second car I owe 2 grand for because knowbody could actually hear me out witch I begged and they alll saw my my wallet and phone also got a large coffee mug chucked at me witch now I have damage to my beautiful car on the way out as the policemen watched me drive away because I wanted no more problems and knew repeating myself and the attempt to harm me and my car I then left with not only no money phone Made it down the road to a grocery store witch hade no keys car turned off the man at the grocery store had to calll the locksmith had to beg fore money to pay him omg still barely made enough just for that I slept in my care for days until I made enough to get home when all I needed was the cops to fix everything now I’m left with a bill of 2000 or more for the impound lot because the cops impounded my other car because the girl stole my keys lol omg I can’t make this up what a tragedy I’m going through god bless America
Look I’m battling whether or not to pursue being wrongfully towed but why the hell was my door destroyed in the process? And when I went to get my truck I tried to get the attention of a kid, no older than twenty, ripping apart somebody’s undercarriage with a forklift trying to move it from an already okay location. I get in my truck and there’s car parts from lord knows everywhere. make destroying vehicles NOT YOUR JOB
i literally don’t know what to say. lowkey been in shock over this all morning. got my car back with the windshield destroyed. gal who helped me at the desk was kind enough but i was gagged when i got to my car. i will definitely be perusing the MULTIPLE reddit threads of people giving tips on how to get this company to actually own up to the damage — sounds like they don’t make it easy. super disappointing and disheartening.

I purchased a vehicle through RoadOne Seattle’s auction on July 25, 2025 — a 2008 Porsche Cayenne. I paid in full and received a notarized and sealed Abandoned Vehicle Affidavit of Sale, clearly listing me as the legal buyer. The sale was processed by the Washington Department of Licensing.
Despite having all this documentation and paying $1,587.56, I was told later that someone else “bought” the car — even though I already paid. I was also yelled at and treated with extreme disrespect by one of the employees when I tried to discuss it. I left feeling unsafe, uncomfortable, and like I was being pushed out of something I legally owned.
I have since filed complaints with the Attorney General, Department of Licensing, and plan to pursue legal action if the vehicle is not returned to me. This feels like a bait-and-switch or a double-sale of the same vehicle — completely unethical and possibly illegal.
I’m sharing this so others know to be extremely cautious when dealing with this company. You deserve to be treated with respect — and when you legally buy a car, you should be given your car. Period.
I’ve also noticed suspicious behavior during the auction process. It seems like certain vehicles are held back or manipulated to benefit insiders — with outside bidders being used to inflate prices, only for the car to mysteriously go to someone “in-house.” This raises serious questions about fairness and transparency.
I do not recommend participating in this auction unless you want to risk being scammed or mistreated
1. Car towed with parking brake engaged, blew out brand new caliper.
2. Mini forklift damaged frame of the car under front axles.
3. Mini forklift cracked expensive front bumper on modern classic car.
4. Mini forklift misc scratches and damage to panels of car by way of rubbing the car on other cars.
5. Car taken to shop immediately where the 5k of damage was photographed.
Their insurance denied my claim on grounds that were not applicable to my scenario.
You have to get a lawyer or take them to small claims to recover loss.
The best thing you could do would be to leave your car there until the mini forklift destroys it and record yourself picking up the car.
I wish I could give this place a 0 stars. They are the absolute worst. Got my car taken here after it was stolen and while in their care the car was damaged even further by one of their employees. Luckily the tow guy from the repair shop witnessed it happen when he when to get the car and I was able to file a strong claim. Take pictures of you car when you go see it and make sure to get it out of there as soon as possible. Another things is their file records system is extremely outdated and you will be waiting in line for hours before you get any help.
I observed them damaging multiple cars with a forklift, just rolling them straight into each other recklessly. I saw many cars that had been crashed into each other at the lot. Someone who recovered their car after just a couple of days had extensive damage to his car and he said the staff refused to help him. They don't answer their phone - you have to go in person. The city sending vulnerable people's cars to be wrecked in this lot is not a good look. Seattle can do better!
We were at the aura avenue location and they told us are car was at the location in south Seattle so we Uber we back and when we got there they said it was actually at the aura avenue location. We asked for a discount and got yelled at cussed at and threatened for us to not get are car. The employee was extremely rude hung up on us multiple times. I hope to see some action. This treatment was extremely unprofessional.
Car was wrongfully towed. 2 hours after it was towed they STILL did not have the vehicle to release to us. So basically our car was stolen and had a joy ride around town. Still make sure to come ASAP to pick up in case of car damage or theft! Always take a video of your car afterwards. If you don’t come quickly they will sell your car or junk it. Our vehicle was damaged under the front bumper.
It has now been four years and I still remeber!!!
The ordeal I went through ruined my entire life. My car was severely damaged, with the tires removed, and it was towed without my consent. When I went to retrieve it the next day, I was devastated to find the windows shattered and all my belongings stolen. They took everything from me—literally everything approximately over $21,000. I had been assured that my car would be safe, so I couldn't understand how this could happen. When I confronted the staff about the situation, they brushed it off as if it were no big deal.
I called the police, but they were unhelpful, leaving me feeling completely powerless. I will never forget the impact this had on my life. It felt like my world had crumbled around me. However, four years later, I managed to rebuild my life from scratch. Looking back, I still can’t shake the memory of what happened and the pain it caused. Lincoln Towing truly changed my life in a way I never anticipated.
If I could rate this place lower I would, they don’t give you adequate information and have no sympathy. My car was towed while I was out of town and my girlfriend tried to pick it up and they wouldn’t give her any information even though they claimed they did and since it’s been there for a couple days I owe $520. This place is a scam and they just try to get money out of you. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service interactions I’ve had. Seattle should really find a better place to tow cars. Because this place is a joke.

These guys are horrible. If your car gets towed here like mine was after it had been stolen Sept last year, get it out ASAP because they treat this place like a junkyard. Good luck getting in touch with anybody on the phone, it took me literally a dozen times back to back of calling this company before somebody actually picked up so I could authorize my insurance company towing my car. Nobody bothered helping me navigate the situation or informing me of what needed to be done on my end.
AND THEY DAMAGED MY CAR WHILE IT WAS THERE (it was there for less than a week) When I was there getting my belongings the day it was recovered, I saw them use forklifts and drag these cars around without any precautions to avoid damaging that vehicles or others around it. I still had an in tact bumper when it was towed there and it was halfway ripped off by the time it left. Along with orange paint scraped across the front end of my white car, too.
They still have not paid back my insurance for the damages they caused to my car over a year after the fact.
It's a shame SPD has used this company to tow stolen vehicles, they don't deserve the business. Way to make a stressful situation worse with a careless company that only cares about making extra money rather than actually being a useful asset.
They did a significant amount of damage to my car. I was told I could get a quote from a body shop, I’ll update my review depending how that process turns out.
Like so many others on here, they damaged my vehicles in the impound lot. The lot is too crowded and they are not careful in moving the vehicle. It is shameful that the city of Seattle uses this terrible company for towing when they create so much needless hassle and expense for citizens.
As a business we rely on reliable reserved parking to be able to conduct easy, easy loading and load out of our goods and services in a timely manner.
We found Lincoln towing to be difficult to use, unreliable, and very slow when responding.
We would advise against ever using this company as a business who rents a parking and sometimes requires towing services. On a busy Saturday we found them extremely unresponsive.
We understand that most of the bad reviews here are from a person who has been towed standpoint .
But as business relying on their services, we would also NOT recommend them to anyone .
Avoid this business if you considering hiring them for enforcing monitored reserved parking.
My car got his car towed by these company 6/29/2024 at around 2am due to a car crash. He was waiting on our insurance towing truck but the police had already called Lincoln towing service that got there before. they loaded the car very unprofessional Our insurance shop try to go in Monday 7-1 try to get it out but made the driver wait 3hr and wasn't able to get it out due to its forklift being broken and my jeep was put in the very deep of the lot.! So the driver went back empty handed Tuesday came the shop went there for a second try and was able to get it out finally after watching and recording how they unload the truck and damaging the back bumper.as you can see it had a back wing that was stolen our whole car was vandalized papers everywhere we had 1 broken phone inside that was stole a perfume and a cámara inside that was also stolen. These it's crazy that police work with these company and they're here stealing from people. They really need to be SHUT DOWN!!! And to know that they don't care what kind of car you got if they see something they want they go and steal it and they go thru peoples stuff. If you ever get town by this company they will destroy it.
