Super convenient and friendly + helpful staff but not sure I would trust the scales. I dropped a load of concrete rubble from a DIY project in a Home Depot rental truck that's equipped with an overweight alarm that triggers at 3000lbs. Weight at the station during checkout was supposedly 3900lbs. When I returned the rental truck, I flagged that the truck's overweight alarm may be broken to the HD staff, but they reassured me that they're pretty accurate and that they'd be weary of the dump scales if they're reporting that large of an overage...
It is one of the worst places to throw garbage because for a small van they charged us about 900 dollars and in another place I know they charged less but we thought that here they charged less than there.
Good place to dump materials. The people there are awesome and facility is structured well but the real star of the show is the gal in the scale house. She is so informative, fast and friendly. I will go out of my way to dump here just to see her smiling face. She deserves to be recognized

They don't post rates anywhere on their website that I can find. I dropped off a bit of concrete from a DIY home project and when weighing me out, I was very surprised to learn they charge a 1-ton minimum and the small load cost me $135. The City transfer station is $35 minimum, and would have been WAY cheaper since I didn't even have 1/4 of a ton. I thought I was doing the right thing by trying to recycle instead of taking it to the dump, but I won't make that mistake again.
Bad actors: At face value United Recycling gives the appearance of a company capturing the best of both worlds, a for profit recycling company. In actuality, behind the scenes (in their Maltby operations) they are the worst neighbors possible with zero regard for the environment or their neighbors. All under the guise of sustainability when in fact they are anything but. Bad actors.
I called to get a price on recycling, and Danielle answered the phone. She was extremely rude, condescending, and generally not helpful, when I asked to speak to her manager, she said she was the manager and that I could complain to her; I let her know she was rude and condescending, and she hung up on me. I emailed the company for a response, but have not heard back.
United Recycling has very knowledgeable team. I talked to Brett Robinson. He is great! He helped us through the whole process. We requested containers for demolition debris. United delivered containers and picked them up on time with no problems.
What a great thing they are doing! Diverting recyclable materials from our land fills. The staff is awesome, customer service is great and full of friendly employees!
These guys are awesome. Always willing to go the extra mile to help and figure out the best situation for each individual. I used them once and I will never use another company because that’s how well they take care of their customers!
I just witnessed a vehicle belonging to this company illegally dumping a large pile of garbage (see first photo) at the end of the road that I adopted thru Seattle's adopt-a-street program. I am appalled that a local business would do such a thing. They dumped the garbage and construction debris at the end of a small encampment that has kept their trash contained and properly disposed of (see second photo) upon hearing that the street had been adopted by volunteers. When questioned as to why they were dumping on the side of the road, the workers in the vehicle with a large scoop/bucket on the front replied that their boss told them to do it. You'd think people would question when their superior asks them to do things that are illegal.
