I have been taking my 1996 Subaru Legacy to Superior for a while now. They keep my super clean, 30 year old car running great! Superior is an honest and trustworthy shop that does excellent work. I love the diagnostic and repair itemization and breakdowns. Very helpful. Their honest advice on prioritizing repairs is much appreciated, especially when owning an old car. I have looked and they do not mark up parts. In fact sometimes parts are cheaper purchased through them. Labor costs are a bit higher than other shops but I am happy to know I am paying for truly skilled and experienced mechanics for high quality work. Highly recommend Superior!!!

Great customer service and fair pricing. Barb and Kyle are very friendly! I was in and out in about an hour for an oil change. They found a small issue with my car during the inspection and they emailed me a summary of the problem and a quote for a fix, instead of pressuring me to make a decision right there.

Employees were very nice and helpful however, there was a lack of severity with regards to communication. I went in with engine trouble that eventually required the car taken to a separate site, yet I was still charged. They charge at a minimum ~$190 for just looking at. It was not made clear that even if nothing is done, that I would still be charged that regardless. Something that I have not experienced with other mechanics before.

Fantastic to work with and reasonable turnaround. Managed to get a fleet of 4 vehicles inspected and taken care of in a timely manner. Pleasant customer service.

A bit steep in price, but excellent service and work. What to score points with your customers? Offer small discounts for: 1) seniors 2) veterans 3) Peace Corps volunteers. I'd qualify. TX Phil

I've been going to Superior Auto for many years. This crew has outstanding customer service (I'm looking at you Kyle!) and they've always taken great care of me. They're communicative, on-time, and the pricing is fair. When my car broke down recently, they did everything they could to get me in and expedite my service. They even gave me a recommendation for a tow truck company. Highly recommend!

I've used Superior Auto Service multiple times now for a wide swath of repairs and regular maintenance items on my 2005, >100k mile vehicle including but not limited to: regular oil changes, battery replacements, suspension replacements, spark plug replacement, headlight replacement, brake service and replacement, and inspection. Across all of these repairs and when compared with other auto repair shops, I've found the prices to be reasonable and transparent. Communication with the Superior team has been excellent, updating me on repairs and repair time estimates. I will continue to go back to Superior Auto Service because their repairs and work have been great and their pricing has been transparent.

They addressed my needs without pushing extra repairs at me. I have an old car that I'm only trying to drive for a few more months and they helped me do just that! Great price, good communication, would recommend

I was able to schedule my appointment beforehand via email which was great. They were professional, punctual, fast and Kyle provided knowledgeable customer service. Will come back for scheduled maintenance. So happy I found a trustworthy place close to home!

Superior Auto Service is a great auto repair shop with both kind and helpful staff. During a move from Seattle, WA to the San Francisco Bay Area a few months back, I unfortunately encountered a mechanical failure with my vehicle that left the driver-side window rolled down with no ability to roll it back up. I was moving quite a few of my personal goods in my car and would be traveling a long distance over multiple days, so this small mechanical failure was going to wreak havoc on my moving plans. I called in to Superior and they were able to get me in and resolved the issue (which I have not had any trouble with since) with a one day turn around time, allowing me to complete my move on schedule. In addition to the diligent support they provided me during this circumstance, I trusted them with repairs and maintenance for my vehicle (2011 Chevrolet Impala LS) throughout the three years that I lived in Seattle, WA and they always did great work and were able to schedule me within a reasonable amount of time. I recommend Superior Auto Service; I trust that they will treat others with the same respect and level of service that I was shown.

The absolute best service that exceeded all expectations. Kyle was an absolutely stud who truly cares about providing 10/10 service and doing things the right way. My tire blew out right across the street and when I walked in to ask for help changing it to my spare, they quickly stepped in to get it done. I spoke with Jared , who was very communicative during this exchange and I am very grateful to have had their help. They got the spare on and very kindly declined my offer to pay. I had a great experience with Superior Automotive Services. They were able to quickly diagnose and fix the issues with my car, and their communication throughout the process was excellent. The team was professional, friendly, and made the entire experience easy and stress-free. I’ll definitely be returning for any future maintenance or repairs and would highly recommend them to anyone in the greater Seattle area.

These guys delivered. Every time I called them, or they called me about my Jeep they were courteous. They acted like they wanted my business which I can’t remember the last time I’ve experienced that walking into an establishment. Their pricing was fair and upfront. The woman at the front desk (who greeted us every time we went into the shop) sent me and email with pricing and explanations but also offered to go over it with me on the phone. Pick up and drop off was easy. I will definitely be returning.

I started hearing this clunking sound under my hood and took my car to a shop in Seattle. They figured it out fast something with the belt and suspension. Didn’t feel like I was being scammed which is rare these days. Price was alright and they got it done same day. Car’s been running smooth ever since. The shop was a little packed but they still managed to squeeze me in. I was happy with the work and would bring my car back there if I needed to. Seattle got lots of shops but this one really knew what they were doin.

It's very hard to find a shop that will not only do good work, but lay out all the facts about what's going on with the car, and then let you make an informed decision about what to do next. I feel that Superior Auto Service does that, and does quality work. They are busy, and you will have to schedule pretty far in advance to get an appointment, but to me it's worth it to know that the car will be fixed right, and that you will know exactly what's going on now, and what needs to be done in the future. It's not the cheapest option to have your car fixed here, but they really stand by their work, and if something doesn't turn out right, they will make it right. They work pretty fast too, once the car is in the shop, you will have it back and working correctly in short order. So relieved to have a shop that I feel is honest and fair, and thorough in the way it does car repair. Keep up the great work!

Superior Auto Service was great to work with! They did an audit on my van and got super similar results to another shop I took it to, and were able to repair all of the most important issues within a few days. I went back and forth with them a few times about what I wanted done since I was hesitant about money and they were expensive fixes, but they were super agreeable the whole time and gave great communication.

I brought my car to Superior Auto Service since my car was leaking AC refrigerant. They quoted a pretty high price to find the leak, fix it, and make sure that there were no other leaks. Despite the high price, I decided to pay it for the peace of mind that the problem would be fixed and I would have a working AC. However, the AC only held a charge for a couple thousand miles, meaning the fix was not done correctly . I called them hoping that they would do what was right and correct the fix. However the employee was rude, and dismissive. She even claimed that I didn’t ask them to fix the AC, until I read her the description on the paid work order. Still they would not hold themselves accountable, and did not care that their work was shoddy. On a side note, I also had them do an inspection at the same time. They claimed my car needed about $4k of work, which I chose not to do. I got a second opinion from another mechanic who said most of the quoted work was completely unnecessary and ridiculous

I’ve been going to Superior Auto Service for years, but it’s time for me to switch to somewhere else. There are two things that are guaranteed to happen if you bring your car here: 1. You will leave with a laundry list of “issues”. I’d recommend getting a second opinion on these as some of them are minor. 2. They will charge you the absolute maximum amount for whatever service you get. They said my brake pads needed to be replaced ASAP and charged me $1700 for the service. The national average cost of this service is $600-800. I really regret not going elsewhere for this, but I needed the service done quickly and wasn't aware that this was an absurd ask. The last straw for me was that I took my car in with the battery light on. They replaced the battery for $300 (again, WAY more than the national average) and the battery light came back on the day that I got it back. I took it in again and they told me the problem was the alternator and that it would be an additional $700 to fix what they said they’d fixed days before. The customer service is great and Barb at the front desk is the sweetest, but after talking to a few other friends and mechanics I realize they’re definitely overcharging and that I can get my car repaired elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.

The team at Superior Auto Service is top notch! They are a 10/10 for their quality service and genuine care of their customers. We have 5 cars from economy to luxury and we have all of them serviced here. If you want honest, thorough, experienced technicians and just darn good people to work on your vehicles do to Superior Auto Service. They deliver it all!

I went in for a quick oil change but the team at Superior started on time, finished on time and I had a nice sit with WiFi on the couch. Previously I'd walked home for the duration and I must say sitting was a nice experience - the staff that passed by to and from cars actually took the time to make eye contact and greet me. Kyle and Barb, who man the front desk are just great. As I sat there the other day I watched Kyle gently help a person whose car was in deep doodoo and he appeared careful to not oversell them when the opportunity was there. This was also my experience with my prior car last year.

I've taken my vehicle to Superior for years and have always been happy with the results. We recently purchased a truck for my son and decided it best to have it inspected and so, because there's a shop a few blocks from our home, we left it with them to look over. Their chicken-scratch report listed "no real issues." But it drove like doggy-doo? So we took it to Superior and had it reinspected and they found that it was in dire need of suspension work and was actually unsafe to drive. Rear-end-about-to-fall-off, unsafe to drive! Great front desk folks. Great mechanics. Clear detailed report. And so - long story short - my son will live! Very thankful for their expertise. Alex

Had a great experience here. Kyle was very communicative and my car was ready in a timely fashion. He listed the order of priority of things wrong with my car and helped walk through with photos what they meant and why they were important to fix. They felt like a very trustworthy company. Also as a female who doesn’t know much about cars and typically dreads having to deal with them, I REALLY appreciated the respect and understanding I was spoken to with here. I was never made to feel dumb or like I was being taken advantage of. I highly recommend this place

Brought a 10 year-old used car that I had recently purchased for an inspection with Superior Auto. Had a great interaction with Kyle (I think that was his name) at the front desk - he took the time to listen to my thoughts and concerns. The work was done quickly, and was completely transparent - they took pictures of parts that they felt would require maintenance, but didn't pressure me into replacing them the same day. The inspection was ~$80 total, and they provided an estimate with an itemized list for all the work they recommended. I really appreciate that they indicated a status for each of the parts on the list (good, fair, bad), because that allows me to pick and choose what I'd like them to do vs. what I'll just take care of myself. I'd say they are a trustworthy company with integrity, and I'll definitely be bringing my car there again for future work.

I have nothing but great things to say about the service here. I brought my van in for an initial inspection on a whim and Scott (shout out to Scott in particular as he worked with me the most) , Keith, and the entire team of mechanics have been fantastic in solving all of its issues. They explain what needs to be done and what doesn't, and they stand behind their work. If you're looking for an honest shop look no further! Picture for fun, as without their work my van wouldn't be able to have fun pictures!

I cannot speak highly enough of this place and every single member of their staff that I encountered. We brought our car into Superior Auto Service after we had some repairs done by another shop, but then it gave out a horrible death rattle and wouldn’t start. The guys at Superior Auto not only found and fixed the problem the other guys missed, but they identified a number of potential future issues and detailed them out for us with a timeline of how to keep our car running. I have never found a more honest and genuinely helpful group of mechanics. These guys are proper Old Seattle, focused on good old fashioned customer service and honest dealings. Seriously, I cannot praise and recommend Superior Auto Service and every employee they have highly enough. If you want good honest dealings, it doesn’t get better than Superior Auto.
