Our vehicle was hit while parked in our driveway, and the other driver’s insurance recommended this body shop. The car was towed there on a Monday, and we were told we would be contacted once it arrived. When I called Tuesday afternoon, the shop said they did not have the car. After contacting the tow company, they confirmed delivery. When I called the shop again, they then located the vehicle.
Throughout the repair process, I had to call weekly for updates, and the shop was often difficult to reach. After approximately three weeks, I was told the car would be ready later that week (Wednesday or Friday, depending on calibration). When I called on Thursday, I was told the car had been ready since the day before.
When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, a weather strip was visibly hanging off the rear wheel well. The shop said the part would need to be ordered. There were also remaining dents and scratches on the vehicle; only the bumper and rear hatch had been repaired.
At pickup, the vehicle required a jump start. The following day, the battery was completely dead again. At that point, I took the car to our local dealership service center because I did not feel it was safe to drive.
The dealership was unable to perform calibration because the blind spot monitoring module had been removed and was completely missing when the bumper was reinstalled. The dealership replaced the battery, installed the missing blind spot module, and repaired the rear hatch, which was not functioning properly.
We are still waiting for the body shop to receive the weather strip. After that repair, we plan to take the car to a different body shop to address the remaining dents and scratches. Based on our experience, the repairs were incomplete and required correction by another service center.
Carstar was amazing to work with. They handled everything with the other insurance company and were just very efficient and quick and communicative during the whole entire process.
Will definitely return for future body fix up’s.
I've used this location twice in the last few years and the customer service and quality of work has been 5 star both times! My car had been involved in two parked hit & runs (gotta love street parking in Seattle!). I would recommend their services to anyone.

Someone hit my car and this disrupted my overall schedule. CARSTAR ARA quickly repaired my car and it looks brand new. They communicated clearly and made sure I was kept up to date with my repair, as well as communication with the dealership for additional repairs. They fixed my car earlier than expected. Brandy is very kind and helpful.

USAA referred me here for a repair on a broken window and damage to my car door from a break in. Brandy and another gentlemen fit me in and were kind enough to store the vehicle at no charge for two weeks while I was away on orders. Brandy and her team also let me know about some preexisting cosmetic damage that they could fix for a small fee since they were already fixing around the general area, which I really appreciated. They kept me updated about the status of my vehicle via text and email, with pictures. Last but not least, they submitted my name to a business partner that connects veterans with financial resources and I received a free gift card! Thanks for a stellar customer experience! EDIT: Had to edit this review from a 5 stars experience down to a 1 star as they can't repair a car which is the most important part of a car repair shop. At this point I fully regret picking them and will never do so again in the future.
Brandy is super communicative and fantastic at customer service however the repairs themselves are terrible. I brought my car in, and it took over a month to get fixed. That alone would've been fine, but they also "test-drove" it for over 100 miles which is just ridiculous.
The funniest thing is that even after such thorough "test-driving", the car immediately had problems the same week I brough it back, with cruise control disabled and the front collision system not working.
So I had to bring it back again, and after more repairs I was told that it should be working perfectly now. However, I picked it up on Friday and the first time I drove it on Sunday I immediately noticed more issues. Firstly the front collision system is detecting cars to my left as in front of me - which led to it slamming the brakes on me ON THE HIGHWAY because the car in the lane to my left slowed down. There were no cars in front of me. This also led to my cruise control speeding up and down depending on how fast the car to my left was driving.
So now it looks like I need to call back in and get it repaired again. This is just ridiculous and absolutely shoddy work.
TLDR: Going to have to bring it back to the shop for the 3rd time because they can't fix my car with new, and more dangerous issues popping up each time.
Brandy was very communicative about our car when it came to updates. We took our Rav 4 in for some front bumper repair and the process couldn’t have been easier. They communicated well with our insurance and helped guide us through the process.
The repair was within the expected timeline and the car came out looking new. I have no complaints and will be back to for future needs.

Took my vehicle in for repair after being rear ended and they did an excellent job with the repair. There were some non repair related issues after I picked my vehicle up, but mistakes were owned and everything was taken care of. I am happy with the service and would go back if circumstances require me too.
Brandy has great customer service. She ordered my car parts ahead of me even dropping the vehicle off. And they were good at communicating how my vehicle was progressing through repairs. Best of all they deep cleaned my car, which really made having to spendn my deductible on accident repairs a much more enjoyable experience. They also have a good relationship with the nearby Enterprise which made it super easy to get and return my rental.
Looks like they've gotten a lot of good reviews, so they don't care about customer service anymore. Brandy likes to hang up on customers. If you are the owner of this business, check out the March 27, 10 am call. She just hung up on me when I was in the middle of asking a question in a very very respectful way. She either needs training so that she is at least strong enough to handle a couple of challenging questions or she needs to be let go. Whatever her issue may be, acting like a teenager and hanging up on clients cannot be good for business, right?
Autobody shops can be hit or miss and I'm very fortunate to have found this specific Carstar location. The entire experience was very professional. I just picked up my car today, and it felt like Christmas morning. I dropped it off with a pretty nasty ding that spanned across two doors as well as a 3.5-foot scratch on my trunk lid. They performed pristine work to fix those areas to like-new condition and finished several days ahead of schedule. They also completely detailed my car both inside and out.
Brandy, who manages their customer experience, is a very kind and proactive communicator. I can't recommend this place enough - I hope I won't have reason to revisit them soon, but if I do, I know my vehicles be in great hands.

Not only was my vehicle in and out in a timely fashion, but Josh was so pleasant to speak with and helpful in addressing my questions and concerns.
