You enter and the first thing asked - why did you not purchase the vehicle from us? Where did you stay when you bought? I don’t accept prepaid maintenance. But I can do you a favor to accept this time. Honestly I called to book, could have said no upfront rather than embarrassing while bringing in and being rude at the service centre. Highly unprofessional, not recommended.

Hunter and Dee helped me to have a good buying experience. They're not pushy and they will let you take your time. The dealership is very efficient too when it comes to preparing some of the paperwork prior to going in person. Would recommend this dealership.

They were very upfront and honest about the pre-existing damage to the vehicle, and while I wasn't able to put as much down as I would have liked, my car payment still comes to lower than what was originally intended. I was able to drive away with the car same day.

I visited this dealership because I was seriously interested in buying a Mazda CX-50 — I was about 70% ready to make the purchase and just wanted to take a test drive first. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The salesperson I met was unwelcoming from the start. He asked for my driver’s license, which I provided, and had me sign the required documents. He then asked if he could ride along during the test drive. I declined because I’ve seen other customers test drive vehicles on their own. He handed me the keys, but the car didn’t even have gas. I had to return and let him know. When he came back, he started asking for my insurance and questioning me in a way that felt like profiling rather than standard procedure. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. I went back inside and explained that this was not right. I also spoke with the manager, but he showed no interest in helping or addressing the situation. This was my worst dealership experience ever.

Lindsay from Mazda made me drive for 2 hrs for a test drive of a vehicle… and when I reached here they didn’t have a single car for test drive. I literally wasted 4hr of my weekend. Please don’t trust the representative at this location.

Lee Johnson Mazda of Seattle is a phenomenal dealership. My experience was excellent, largely due to Marcus, who provided exceptional service and went above and beyond my expectations. He patiently and clearly explained complex topics like car depreciation and shared practical examples on smart car purchasing in today's market. His professionalism and genuine helpfulness is really outstanding.

My wife and I were at Mazda of Seattle on a Tuesday a slow day for them. We had interaction with Dennis the salesman that helped us and David the Finance Manager. Both very knowledgeable and cordial. It was a low key interaction. Our time with Dennis was comfortable with a back and forth discussion. Talking about how he could help us and what we wanted. We had a couple of vehicles we knew we wanted to look at and test drive and he made that happen, quickly and with a smile. We had a number in mind and after a couple of trips to the Sales Manager a fair deal for both parties was reached. Off to the Finance Manager David, he ran us through the paperwork and and answered all our questions. Extremely knowledgeable and a friendly interaction. Very low key for us would be fair description of our visit!

Really wish I could go back in time and not buy a car here. It’s been awful since the purchase was made. They happened to have the car I wanted at one trim level higher than needed but at a good deal, so I opted to buy. I’ve been waiting 3 months for a refund of an extra that was cancelled within days of purchase, and took a week with a call and multiple emails to even get a reply they are working on it. The car has multiple rattles and vibrations that started within 2 weeks of purchase and despite a week at their shop are still there. Now my screen is shutting down while driving with navigation. There also has been a whirring noise after turning off the car when driving longer distances (20+ miles) two times. Not impressed and recommend avoiding this dealership as well as possibly avoiding Mazda overall as well. On the positive, the sales guy I test drove with was not pushy and the manager did make sure I was able to compare a feature I was curious about by showing it to me in another model since it was not yet available in the model I was looking at. But in general, while experience had been a disappointment and definitely think this car won’t last anywhere near what my old CRV did since it already had issues, and definitely prefer Lynnwood Honda’s service center. Always got my car back washed, no fee to use a credit card, and seemed to listen better. This one keeps entering my name wrong (not just misspelled but an entirely different last name) and keeps putting in notes for the techs that aren’t what I said. Anyone have a Time Machine I can use to fix this and buy something else somewhere else? Sigh… *Editing to add contacted them again about the cancelled add on, and a week later still zero reply. The service department manager said he would look into it and it was very disappointing to hear their sales team was unresponsive, but that hasn’t helped. The car is going in again as neither rattle/vibration was resolved the first week they had it, and now there are new issues that have popped up. All this in under 400 miles. First car I won’t keep 15+ years, because it feels like it won’t last close to that… Second edit: after a month of attempting to resolve the refund issue and 3 months since it was started, I am going to be filing a complaint with the state AG’s office. I cannot even get a response from the dealership at all.

If you are shopping from out of town, do not use this dealership. Synopsis: This dealership delays submitting registration paperwork so long that temporary plates expire, then expects customers to drive illegally with expired plates and registration while waiting for delivery. Timeline and facts: I purchased my vehicle on December 6, 2025. My temporary plates expired on January 20, 2026. At the time of purchase, I clearly told David (Finance Manager) that my permanent plates would need to be mailed to me. I was told this was not an issue and to remind him once the plates arrived. By January 10, having heard nothing, I called and left a voicemail requesting a status update. No response. On January 13, I called again (second voicemail). When I still did not receive a callback, I called a third time and spoke with Marcus (General Manager). He assured me the plates would be ready by the 14th and shipped on the 15th, explaining that paperwork is “processed in batches.” After that call, David left me a voicemail stating the plates would be ready Friday the 16th and mailed then. This was cutting it close, but still within the expiration window. On January 19, I received an email telling me to come pick up my plates, despite multiple prior conversations that they needed to be mailed. I called again (fourth call) and spoke with Hunter (Sales Manager). He told me he physically had my plates and that, due to their mailing process, the earliest delivery would be January 23, three days after my temporary plates expired. His recommendation was that I would “probably be fine driving until then,” meaning driving with expired plates and registration. This is illegal. He also said he would provide tracking information; he did not. On January 20, I contacted the Department of Licensing looking for solutions for the expired temporary plates. They confirmed that only the dealership could issue a temporary extension or replacement plate. I was then directed to call Eastside Auto, which is the specific DOL location that received the paperwork to process my plates. Eastside Auto told me that my plates were processed out on January 14, and that paperwork is typically processed within about one week of receipt. This means the dealership waited a month after purchase to submit my registration paperwork. I called the dealership again (fifth call), requested Marcus who was unavailable, and spoke with Hunter instead. I requested a new temporary plates or an extension so I could legally drive. I was told they “just don’t do that.” I told him that this was unacceptable and that I would be calling back to speak with Marcus (Hunter's manager) the next day. Magically, thirty minutes later, Hunter called me and now the plates were being FedExed overnight and would arrive on January 21. Bottom line: No customer should have to call five times to receive their legally required plates. No customer should be advised, explicitly or implicitly, to drive illegally due to dealership delays. And no dealership should hold paperwork long enough for temporary plates to expire, then treat expedited shipping as a last-resort favor instead of a basic responsibility. If you are an out-of-town buyer, understand that this dealership’s internal delays can and will leave you unable to legally drive your vehicle. My hope is that other out-of-town shoppers take their business elsewhere, and that management makes expedited shipping the standard, not the emergency fix after their business practices created the problem.

After a bit of a rocky start and some miscommunication between locations, we were able to purchase a 2025 CX-50 Hybrid and felt their price and trade in offer for our car was more than fair. All the people we worked with at this location were very friendly and helpful all the way through the process. We had to have our new Mazda into the service department once for minor things and they were quick and kind as well. We are loving our new Mazda!

Jaedin and the whole crew at Lee Johnson Mazda of Seattle were great! They worked with me to get to a deal that worked for me and them on a fabulous pre-owned CX-90. I would definitely do business with them again!

Service Dept scams and lies. I was misled by Mark Whitkowski to believe I would be able to get a rebate from Goodyear when buying a new set of tires. The rebate was ONLY good if a special credit card was used. HE NEVER mentioned this nor will the GM, Chris Reeves, respond to my emails, the Service dept manager will not call me back. I've brought my car in with the same complaint several times and each time they've recommenced expensive, unnecessary fixes that did NOT address the problem. After I spent $2k getting fixes and tires, their sales dept offered to buy my car for $4k LESS than their first offer. I only agreed to the work because the salesman at their showroom mentioned the initial estimate was low because I did NOT get the recommended work. BUYER BEWARE.

Brought a used auto and I was so impressed how great the process was, from the sales person to the manager. There was no pressure in buying and we a happy with our new car. Thank you Dee for making us happy!

They were such great people to work with. Sonny was the best salesman. Finance was a breeze and quick. I will go back of if I ever want another Mazda and I will recommend them to everyone. Thank you everyone at Lee Johnson of Seattle

We recently completed a purchase with Richard Lee of Mazda of Seattle. We did the research on the car CX-50 Hybrid and knew that was the perfect car for us. After working with several dealers, Richard and his team was able to deliver for us the exact car we wanted and the buying experience was awesome! If you are interested in a Mazda product I highly recommend reaching out to Richard Lee at Mazda of Seattle. He is a straight shooter! - Jake and Maria Williams

Purchased my vehicle at Lee Johnson Mazda. Dennis (my salesman) and the whole team offered a much needed change of pace from the rest of the aggressive, misleading and difficult staff I dealt with at other dealerships. The team at Lee Johnson is patient, transparent and professional and is worth a visit.

A few weeks ago, I was casually browsing for my first car, and Dennis was incredibly helpful from the start. He was very knowledgeable and never pushy, which my mother and I really appreciated. His friendly, positive attitude made the experience comfortable and helped guide me toward doing business with him. The process of trading in my car, test-driving vehicles, and purchasing a certified pre-owned car was nerve-racking at first, but Dennis made everything feel smooth and easy. We also appreciated the help from manager Hunter and David in finance, who were both great at answering questions and keeping things moving - despite an unexpectedly long wait time (which we were totally understanding of!). We came in on a Saturday afternoon and ended up staying past closing, but Dennis, Hunter, and David all stayed to make sure we were taken care of. Dennis even took time to show me how to set up CarPlay while we waited for our turn. The next day, we noticed some interior damage that hadn’t been seen the night before since it was dark outside. While that was disappointing to discover, since it wasn’t disclosed when purchasing the car the day prior, Dennis and Hunter were very helpful, owned up to it, and have been working with us to make it right. So far, Hunter has been very professional, transparent, and efficient with communication throughout the repair process. Although some of the damages aren’t reparable, I greatly appreciate the effort he has made to get the other issues sorted. He’s also helping me get my spare key sorted out (there was a mix-up discovered after purchase) and arranging a loaner car in the meantime, which is greatly appreciated. I’m really looking forward to enjoying my new car once the repairs are complete. Overall, my mother and I have been very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend this dealership!

The best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a car! Caden and Hunter were fantastic to work with. Hunter truly went above and beyond to help me get exactly the car I wanted. He was communicative, transparent and kind throughout the process. I’m very grateful for the phenomenal service I received and highly recommend this dealer and brand!

Purchased a CPO 2025 CX50 Hybrid Premium Plus. Our salesman (Caden) was very knowledgeable about all the options on the vehicle and was able to walk me through everything. The finance manager (David) was very expedient and got us a pretty good rate for a CPO vehicle. The whole process took about 3 hours.

Michael and Hunter did a fantastic job getting me the number and the accessories that I wanted. Hunter especially was honest, and worked hard to meet and accommodate my needs as a buyer. They allowed me to go through the buying process at my own pace, until I was ready. I would absolutely work with Hunter again. Thank you all very much!

EVERY EMPLOYEE I had contact with was professional & friendly. My only issue was that the pre-owned car I purchased didnt have the equipment on it that the employees and myself believed that it was equipped with. I didnt learn that until I got the car home. Luckily, Lee Johnson Auto Family, offers a 7 day exchange on any purchased vehicle. I had to miss a day of work to return to Lee Johnson Mazda in Seattle to exchange the vehicle. I think it's important for the sales person to show & explain the options on the vehicle to the prospective buyer. I took them at the word. They were not trying to fool me, they believed the vehicle had the options that were described to me.

Generally positive experience and would recommend. Dennis is kind and knowledgeable, and I didn't feel pressured into buying. Advice as a first time buyer... do your research not only on the car you want, but also on the buying process. The folks here are all welcoming, laidback, and honest. But they are not forthright. If you tell them your budget (you shouldn’t), they'll automatically add service contracts and other products. There was also a $200 "documentary service fee", which I only realized was "negotiable" after purchase. Also, because I financed, everything was presented in terms of monthly payment, so I didn't initially realize how expensive the extended warranty and gap coverage were. I ended up returning a couple days later to cancel them. Thankfully, that process was quick and easy. All that to say, it's your responsibility to carefully review the itemization and be an informed consumer.

We had a positive experience when buying our new CX-5! Our sales rep, Dennis, was very helpful and very personable. He made certain that all of our questions were answered and that we had every opportunity to evaluate the differences between the CX-30 and the CX-5. We felt NO pressure from Dennis or from any of the team during any part of the buying process. They really are a team, there. Their camaraderie was the key to creating an unexpectedly pleasant experience. Michael deserves kudos for his online help before we made the in-person visit and for bringing the sweet Camden to keep us entertained. David was outstanding in making the financial paperwork process clear in a humorous way. We received attentive customer service from all. It changed our perception of car-buying and we came away feeling that, financially, we made a deal that was reasonably priced and for just the right car for us. Thank you, Dennis, Michael, David, and Cam!

The team at Lee Johnson Mazda provided a great experience picking up our new (to us) CX-90 PHEV. Our salesman, Dennis, was outstanding. He was very helpful and easy to text with while working out details before we arrived. Dennis went the extra mile to make sure Android Auto was working perfectly and even took the time to point out minor blemishes on the car that we hadn't noticed. The entire process was efficient and pressure-free. We were in and out in about two hours, which included the test drive and signing all the documents. Sales Manager Hunter was helpful, informing us about a great financing offer they had that beat my pre-approval. Finally, David in finance had all the paperwork ready and made the signing process smooth and friendly. I would definitely recommend Lee Johnson Mazda to anyone looking for a new car.

Saw a Mazda Cx-30 online so I set an appointment to test drive. I liked the car. Therefore I decided to purchase the vehicle. It was pretty quick despite all the necessary paperwork. Left thinking and feeling like I got a good deal and made a good purchase. Love the car even though I’ve only had it one day.

Received excellent knowledgeable customer service from this Mazda dealership. Salesperson, Dee, was very helpful and provided me with informative details on the 2023 Mazda Certified MX-5 Miata that I purchased. No surprises and the vehicle was in perfect condition when I arrived from out of state for it. I appreciated that she spent quality time with me and thoroughly went over vehicle with me. As a result, reccomend this dealership if looking for a Mazda.

Back in 2021, I had such a positive experience with Dennis, and all the folks I interfaced with at Lee Johnson Mazda of Seattle, that I drove 815 miles from San Francisco to turn in my leased CX-5 and drove away in a new CX-50! This is my fourth Mazda since 2015 and they keep getting a little more sophisticated with each model. Dennis couldn’t have made it any easier for me. We were able to do a lot of the upfront stuff ahead of my trip so he had my new vehicle waiting for me in the parking lot so I could transfer my things easily. Customer service is becoming a lost art in this world so I didn’t forget how well I was treated by Dennis back when I lived in Seattle during the dark days of the COVID pandemic. Dennis, and my leasing experience at Lee Johnson, was spot on in 2021 so I didn’t think twice about making the two day drive last week. Loving my 2024 CX-50! Thank you, Dennis, Michael and David! The Lee Johnson Mazda of Seattle team Rocks! ~ All the best, J Michael McGinn (SF, CA)

Dennis, Hunter, Michael GM, and Sam Financial Manager treated me like gold. They were kind, ethical in their approach, and their professionalism was top notch. They spent the necessary time with me to work with me to figure out the car and coverage I wanted and needed…nothing less and nothing more…got a great interest rate and a great deal. As for the car… I got a Mazda CX 30… safety features like blind spot monitoring and rear cross alert were standard at base level…I went one up to select sport for leatherette and a few more options because I have a dog…after thoroughly comparing Honda, Subaru (what I had before) and Toyota, I knew immediately the CX-30 was for me: seats more comfortable, only manual seats I found that include a dial to tilt bottom of seat so knees higher (only reason I was needing power seats in the other makes) …seats more cushioned…leatherette available only on trim up from base….also vents in back for dog…only downside is cargo space is less than Toyota and Honda same class but I don’t want dog by back anyways because less protected than in back seat… and can always put seats down…finally, the extended warranty was less expensive…if you have dog allergies they will put dog in crate and dog isn’t there every day…but if you love dogs, Camden the GE’s dog will show you around! She kept my husky busy and tired!
