I can’t say enough good things about North Seattle Towing. When my car unexpectedly broke down, I was stressed and unsure what to do. From the moment I called, they were kind, reassuring, and incredibly helpful. They arrived quickly, and the driver was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about getting me safely taken care of.
What could have been a really frustrating experience turned out to be much easier thanks to their excellent service. They treated my vehicle with care, explained everything clearly, and made me feel like a valued customer rather than just another tow job. It’s rare to find a company that combines professionalism with such a personal touch.

North Seattle Towing came ASAP and best of all, they didn’t require me to wait with my car. I took a taxi to my destination, they towed my car to my favorite shop, Acme Auto Electric on Aurora. They handed the keys to the shop manager. I paid North Seattle Towing’s reasonable fee by phone.
As conked out cars go, it couldn’t have been a smoother experience.
We found ourselves in a tough situation when a small dump truck got stuck in our yard, dangerously close to our house and electrical meter.
Hal was upfront about pricing, explaining the minimum cost and how additional challenges could affect it. He showed up on time, worked quickly but safely, and approached the tricky job with professionalism and problem-solving skills. Rather than overpromising, he carefully assessed the situation and explained his thought process, keeping us informed on why he chose certain techniques over others.
His experience was evident—he remained calm, creative, and strategic, ultimately getting the truck out without causing any damage. I also appreciated how he took a moment to share a photo of another challenging recovery he had done when I expressed interest in his work.

Excellent service! Hal was tremendously kind and helpful to help me with my car, towed it back home and found a great place to park thats easy for me to get it out later. My daughter's vehicle had been diagonosed with an incurable problem, and we were resigned to having it crushed. Hal towed it from the garage to our house, and told me how to fix the problem and save the vehicle. His kindness, technical knowledge and helpful attitude were much appreciated! Hal at North Seattle towing was absolutely amazing. Rushed to pick up my son and I, dropped us home, and the whole ride essentially taught me everything I needed to know about what was likely wrong with my car (failed alternator). Gave advice on what to explain to the mechanic and what to watch out for (cheap parts) and I believe I will have saved a few hundred bucks based on this advice. Absolutely call North Seattle Towing.

My 82 year old parents had driven in to north Seattle for a medical appointment, and when they came out their car wouldn't start. Hal came out to them in less thN half an hour, tried to jump it, realized it was a starter issue and tried a few tricks to get it working again but that didn't work. He towed the car to the garage they chose and was very kind and courteous to them.
They were fine but it was dpuble to triple what everybody else qouted me for the same service. Unfortunately he did not giveme apriceuntil he delivered the vehicle and I was shocked at howmuch it was. No choice. Ut to pay. I think I got ripped off big time.
We had a pretty bad snowstorm and it caused a lot of ice on my steep driveway. I ended up sliding off to the side and down a ravine. After calling at least 10 other companies and absolutely no help from Geico I was able to connect with Hal at North Seattle towing company. The job was not easy and he told me upfront what would need to happen. He was so patient and professional and I was incredibly relieved to finally have my car out of a ravine after a five day fiasco. From now on I’m skipping the insurance company and going straight to North Seattle towing company to handle any of my towing needs and the insurance company can just reimburse me afterwards.
Incredible service! We hada uniquely difficult tow of a classic car in a narrow space. Hal would not give up, and had tons of tricks up his sleeve to help us make it happen. Even our neighbors asked for business cards to use them in the future it was so genius a tow. Highly recommend.
My son is in college in Seattle we live in Illinois. He went to the grocery store and car wouldn't start, tried to troubleshoot over the phone with no luck. He called North Seattle towing. They came to his location and got his car to start. No towing needed. Very grateful.
