I had a smooth experience at the RC The staff was organized, professional, and the process moved faster than expected. The facility was clean for a recycling and disposal center, and the employees were helpful when directing where items needed to go.
One important thing to know before going: they do **not** accept certain electronics like televisions or large household appliances, so make sure to check their accepted items list before loading your vehicle. That would save people time and extra trips.

No more Goodwill drop offs. They left in June. When we went the recycling building was also closed because there was metal on the floor…

The website for this place says "The North Transfer Station accepts the following items at no charge in the Recycling and Reuse Building: Electronics, including televisions, computers, monitors, and small electronics". This is not true according to the guy working there today. I drove all the way there expecting to drop off a computer monitor. He then told me I couldn't sit in my car in the building for 60 seconds while I planned where I was going to go instead. He yelled at me and made me deeply uncomfortable for no apparent reason.

Recycle area is to the right instead of taking a left and going through the transfer station weigh in area.

You can drop of your recycling items (blue bin) here for free. Additionally there is a Goodwill container here for items you would like to donate.
