Horrible experience. The ladies on the phone were polite and decent, but the guy towing my car was for one intentionally being slow so he could upcharge and he made that extremely obvious from the beginning. He passed me when I was clearly waving him down and took about 5 minutes to get back to me. He had me in my car putting it into neutral, and I stayed in my car while he was doing everything because I didn’t want to get in the way and he didn’t tell me to get out. He then got in his truck and I was confused, then he came out and was like “obviously I need you to get out” rolled his eyes and went back to the truck. I ended up apologizing because I literally didn’t know. I’ve never been towed before. I still was very friendly despite how stressful the situation was for me. And anytime I said anything EVER, he would roll his eyes and head while sighing at me. He then proceeded to be rude to my family when they politely confronted him about the unnecessary upcharge. I don’t understand why someone so miserable is working a job around people who are already stressed out. He should be fired genuinely. Customer service skills of a flea on a mutts back.
Great experience, twice in about a week. Both Erik and Bill were friendly and helpful and the company was good at communication. They made the whole trials of getting my old car into storage as painless as possible. Would recommend.
Amazing customer service. Bill Finch was a joy to work with. Outstanding character and professionalism. I'd use these guys again every time. I hope not to need to, but it wouldn't feel like the end of the world knowing this shop is around.
So apparently if you have a vehicle stolen from you , you are forced to pay towing fees and storage fees to have it released back to you. That is the most disgusting and pathetic thing to punish a victim of a crime. Great job on being that pathetic.
The front office was terrific, and Daryl the tower was spectacular. He patiently manouevred a large car from our garage and then through the front gate. He was meticulously careful. I was impressed and grateful!
Took 2 hours for them to arrive then almost 2 hours for them to tow it 11 miles

This place overcharged me when I was in desperate need of help, there costumer service was fine but there prices and time management could use a good amount of work
After this review the president of the company reached out to me personally and expressed to me that he agreed with my assessment and would follow through with some training. He also offered me a military discount. Thank you for addressing my concern and reaching out
Erik came out and saved the day. Super friendly and helped with a repair over and beyond. He arrived so quickly and got me back on the road. TY so much also Columbia Towing.
I had Bill come out to tow my car when my starter went bad in SeaTac. He got there early, he attempted to help me get the car started instead of just straight towing me, and when that didn't work he referred me to a great mechanic that was nearby. I got nothing but good things to say about these people and Bill especially. Columbia towing from now on.
the guy that came out at night around 3 or 4 am was super friendly and so was Dispatch other towing gave me a eta of 2+ Columbia towing came out in under 45 minutes I for sure will.use them again

Was driving home and got a flat tire. Barely got off side of road. Called Columbia. Bill the tow truck driver was awesome. He was there in less than 40 mins and got me going in no time. Would recommend!
My guy Jacob is THE MAN, a lot of these tow guys don’t actually know as much as they should for their job title but Jacob was careful with my Audi, strategic with the way he lifted it and was very wise with his on the fly thinking. If you’re not requesting Jacob specifically I guess you don’t care about your car as much as you think you do.
Thomas showed up faster than expected when I was stranded on the side of the freeway. He was friendly, safe and kind and I appreciated how he handled the situation. Hopefully people don't need a tow, but I would recommend their service if you ever find yourself stuck!
thomas was great. he showed up promptly, was very communicative throughout the process, and followed through to land the plane (or car) in spite of having to take our vehicle to another shop when the first one was unexpectedly closed off.

The reviews are all true — Bill is a gentleman and a scholar! Saved the day when I got a flat, and frankly made my day by being super cool. My only regret is that I couldn’t give him a huge tip, because he is worth every penny.

Thank you Bill for helping me out after my stolen car was found. Made sure my car was handled correctly, and helped me get it safely to a repair shop. Make sure to ask for Bill next time your car needs to be towed. Columbia City Towing does their best to make a bad situation the best it can be.
My car was stolen and dumped in a homeless camp in the woods. The tow truck driver Rob was AMAZING. This was an incredibly challenging tow and he handled it with skill, professionalism, patience and good humor. I would unhesitatingly recommend these guys to anyone, especially if the towing situation was unusual and/or challenging.
Wouldn't let me get my car or even access it without registration, even though I did have the title with my name and in the DOL/DMV system is a bill of sale to me. Still wasn't good enough, so lost my only vehicle for me and my children to be able to get around in. 👌👍👍👍 GREAT TEAM they got there. 👏
I would like to express my appreciation for Big Jim. He not only saved the day by towing our dead car in the nick of time to get it to a service station before the close of the day but, was also kind, easy going and funny (not to mention fast, efficient and skilled)! thanks Jim and Columbia Towing.

Eric, the tow truck driver moved out to Seattle from New York in 2013 and he brought the best of his home State with him. Not only was he knowledgeable regarding his occupation, he was gentlemanly and possessed the integrity that is so lacking in society these days. I take comfort knowing there are young people out there that possess a moral code. Thanks again Eric! Keep Eric at all cost, he is truly one of a kind!
I’ve never received better customer service, Bill greeted me with a warm smile as soon as I walked out of the house. He masked up before approaching and held multiple conversations throughout the experience. Bill explained what he’d be doing before ever touching the car and made sure I was informed on what was happening and where the car was going. This service was Covid safe and friendly, I couldn’t ask for anything better. Thank you Bill !!
My experience with this business was a little unwilling - unfortunately, my car was stolen and burned, and these folks are the ones that were called to tow it. The dispatch lady (Laurie, I think?) is very sweet, and the gentleman who met me so I could look through the car to see if there was anything to salvage. He informed me of what he understood happened, and seemed to understand that despite my peppy attitude, it hurt to see what is basically the end of the line for a good vehicle. My experience was very good with this business.
I got stuck down a steep drive way with my service vehicle on Mercer Island. Big Jim came to my rescue only 40min later. He was super helpful and patient with the towing.
Highly recommend them.
