I will never EVER go to another mechanic Derek the owner is ABSOUTLEY AMAZING I had a 2003 Jeep wrangler SE they installed a new stage 2 clutch and a Brand new FLY WHEEL got me back on the road again after being down for 3 months As I was picking up my jeep wrangler the person driving are other go lost all power to the vehicle Derek the owner personally came out with a jump box and jump started our car and then showed us the alternator baring was going out and offered to hold the vehicle and charge the battery for us and pick it up next day so when we are ready to have the work done we can bring it back HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! TRUE PROFESSIONALS!!!

It's getting harder and harder to find a reliable, knowledgeable mechanic for a reasonable price. Recently brought my Patriot in for what sounded like whirring in the cab. Of course Google offered a number of guesses but it was outside of my wheelhouse. Derek diagnosed a failing alternator and quoted me the price. Issue completely resolved! I'll keep bringing my business here as long as I can regardless of what I drive.

It's a good service center. The person who probably runs the place is very nice and good to talk to. We have been coming here for the oil change and the service is very quick. It's easy to get appointments too. Thank you!

If you want a job well done with a reasonable price visit the gentleman at this mechanic shop. I simply recommend calling in advance to make sure They are available. These are kind and very professional mechanics, I will be continuing to get more car service done at this establishment.

Legitimately wonderful people here. I'm struggling and had my check engine light come on. They took a look realized it was something to do with the cold air and not a real issue I had to get repaired. Didn't even charge me for the diagnostic, sending everyone I know here in the future. They are honest people.

Had a small hole in the exhaust pipe. I dropped the Mazda off in the morning. They checked it out, quoted me, and fixed it by about 1:30 in the afternoon. Great price and great job.

Other shops quoted me $2k+ to do the clutch on my '98 Maxima. They got it done for a little more than half that. Super friendly. Car was ready when they said. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Truly the exception to the rule when it comes to mechanics. These guys are honest and do quality work. I will be coming back when I can afford to replace my CV axles. Thank you!

The job isn't even finished, and I am compelled to give Derek 5 stars. I was referred to him by another highly reputable transmission shop as being a maestro. Without giving the play-by-play, the man went above and beyond for me. I was having a foul day, and by the end of it, I was in a much better place having dealt with him. I know I'm a drop in the ocean when it comes to people singing praises for this gentleman, but he deserves it all. The reason I'm preemptively reviewing this without even having seen the work (he has called me update me to give me a idea on what is being done), is because a person who cares this much about his fellow human beings would undoubtedly translate that into quality and attention to detail as well. Having owned several cars over a 22 year span and meeting many different mechanics along the way, I have not had the pleasure of dealing with anyone like this. For over 40+ years of experience, the best customer service, and of course the price, this place is a one-in-a-million business. If you've made it this far into my review and still need convincing to go here, you're overthinking it.

Derek Todd the owner is the best human soul I ever met in my life. Talking to him you feel that the guy is not only a mechanic but a real customer service oriented businessman. I would have given this business more than 5 stars rating but the latter is the highest rating. Very competent in what he does, best price in town and above all is Derrick charming personality. It's very hard to find honest mechanics these days! Derek replaced the clutch/flywheel on my car for LESS THAN HALF of what another shop quoted me! I was able to get my car in as soon as I could and had it back in a timely matter. It's refreshing to see a mechanic who doesn't try to scam their customers. Highly recommend!

I do medical transport for people in wheelchairs, and my wheelchair van suddenly got an extremely loud noise coming from the exhaust. I called around to see if someone could check it out and was denied everywhere, but when I called Aurora Clutch & More and explained my situation to Derek - that I have patients waiting to be picked up - he told me to come in! He got my van directly up onto the lift, diagnosed the noise, fixed it, and had me out of there in time to pick up my next patient. On top of that, he refused to charge me because it was an easy fix. Any mechanic would have charged me, and probably a little extra for such short notice. You really don't see that kind of genuine kindness and neighborly service anywhere! Thank you!

Derek was very kind to me in a time of need. My head gasket failed and he checked out my car, professionally and quickly diagnosed it, and then let me keep my car in his shop over the holidays. Only charged me for a quart of oil. One of the best guys in the industry for real.

Went here initially for a clutch replacement. Got a very fair price and was done in a timely manner. Came back to have them look at a power steering issue and a washer fluid reservoir leak. They determined that no parts were needed with either of these issues and fixed both problems for me, only charging labor. I’d be surprised if there is a more honest mechanic in Seattle, and I give them 6 stars if I could. Derek is the man!

I cant say enough what a blessing it is to have this shop. Derek is awesome! He keeps my old car running better than a lot of younger cars and I trust him completely. He is great at diagnosing problem, coming up with reasonable solution, and keeping my old car in stellar condition. He has saved my bacon multiple times. My car is old but it doesn't drive like it. And last time when it broke down over a weekend i knew if it was towed to him he could solve it. And that is great peace of mind. And he did solve it just when i feared maybe it was time to replace car. So glad to still have my Honda Element. I don't trust most mechanics and i have reasons for that. But Derek and this shop are stellar. They are the real deal. I tell everyone i know who is looking for a shop to go to them. I should write reviews more often. I cannot say enough good things about Aurora Clutch and More and Derek.

Derek the owner is a decent, honest mechanic. Unlike other shops if he has an issue that he needs a second opinion he does not hesitate to call a colleague before he recommends repair, or on a couple of occasions he sent me to a second shop that specialized in the repair! I and my family, five of us, have been going to Derek for over 24 years.

I have a 2002 manual car and when I called, Derek picked up to help me with an ongoing emergency break light. He gave his advice on the first call suggesting I check a few basic things before I bring it in to get inspected. That told me a lot right then and there. Some shops around Seattle didn’t want to say anything until they inspected. Derek quoted me an affordable inspection. I dropped off my car at the time scheduled and it was a quick drop off. After inspection I got a call quoting me parts and labor to fix my issue. He explained it thoroughly. I agreed and problem has been solved. The other employee was Dustin who did the work and they did a great job. Definitely coming back for future issues with my car.

This was the second time I’ve been to this shop, and I’m so glad I found this place. First time my car was making a loud noise and the engine light was on. While some other shops wanted to charge me $100 plus dollars to run the computer diagnosis, and would want to schedule me for the following week, Derek was able to find me a time in the very next day and fixed my car at an affordable price. The second time I’ve been there was also because my car was making a funny noise. They again were able to check and fix my car on the next day. I also appreciate that Derek always checks in with you after a week or so to confirm that your car is working well after the work he has done. I will definitely be using their services again when my car needs another maintenance.

I had an incredible experience with Aurora Clutch and More and I can't recommend them enough!! I had my catalytic converter stolen and was extremely upset by it. I called and Derek was able to provide me with a quote over the phone. I brought it in to the shop the next day and had my car up and running within a couple of hours. Extremely great customer service from both Derek and Dennis. Thankful for their help and that the quote they gave me over the phone ended up being what I actually paid!

f I could give this 10 stars, I really would. Derek and his team are amazing. I showed up after my Catalytic Converter was stolen off my car, no appointment, no quote. Just a recommendation from a mechanic shop up the road. From the moment I stepped into the building Derek treated me like I was his son or nephew that had a broken car the night before prom. He had immediately started working on finding a new CC and didn't charge me $2000 like other mechanics I had called. He could have had the entire repair done within a day but StateFarm held us up. All I want to do is say Thank You Derek, thank you for making me feel like family and helping me. There needs to me more businesses like you. You've definitely earned a customer for life!

I got a new clutch and serpentine belt recently installed into my 2000 Toyota Camry. Derek was very helpful from the beginning giving me a quote beforehand and explaining the procedure. He had the lowest prices around and finished the job on time and the car runs great. He even checked in a week later to make sure the work he'd done was satisfactory. I would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Derek has been the best! I have had several issues with my 20 year old car, and Derek has always been available and reliable to fix the problem to get me up & running in no time. Great work, reasonable prices, and an owner - Derek - who has enough "old school" customer service sense that you leave the shop with confidence that your problem is solved, and if it recurs, they've got your back. Derek is a good listener and communicator, and a wealth of knowledge and experience. AC&M did a clutch and Timing Belt on my '97 Trooper a couple years back, and I so satisfied with their work that when my Chevy Pickup Transmission started having trouble, I knew AC&M was the right place to go. Transmission work is expensive, so getting your money's worth is important and AC&M delivers on that. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Derek was very patient and helpful throughout the whole process of getting my car fixed. He even helped me secure a tow to get the car to the shop and they did a great job on the repair, the car feels awesome. Fair prices, nice people, honest and reliable service. Would definitely come back, 10/10 would recommend.

Derek is great! He worked with me on dropping my car there while I was traveling for work. The car was ready by the time I got back into town. He also helped me with other issues that my truck as having and kept me updated every step of the way. This definitely wasn't the closest shop to where I live, but was definitely work taking my truck there. The price here is fair and the service is outstanding. I highly reccomend them!

These guys are great! Derek is such a great guy! The clutch in my '98 Ford Ranger went out so I had it towed to Derek's shop. The truck sat for 2 months before I took it in and my rear driver side wheel wouldn't turn at all. We couldn't even get it off the tow truck. Derek came out right away with 2 of his guys and took care of me even though they were already busy. They jumped my dead battery and broke the wheel free in no time! Derek was straight forward with me from the time I first called until I picked my truck up all fixed. He's down to earth and easy to talk to. Fixing cars and trucks is expensive but I was told what to expect and that's exactly what happened. I'll be going back to Aurora Clutch and More anytime I need work done in the future and I strongly recommend them. Thanks Derek and your crew! Awesome people!
