Juan replaced my clutch and flywheel much faster than anyone else could have, and for significantly less then I've paid elsewhere. It's not in a great area of town, but look inside and you'll see a lot of high end cars inside, for a reason. Juan can handle your Civic, but you can Aldo trust him with an AMG or classic '57.
Juan got me in on a Saturday (day after 4th of July) and replaced my Subaru's starter in just a few hours. Great communication and didn't overcharge me!
I had a moment of panic when I started my Honda Odyssey and was suddenly bombarded with every warning light imaginable — front collision warning, lane departure, brake system, you name it. I had no idea what was wrong and was genuinely freaking out.
I pulled into Hazael’s, hoping someone could take a quick look. Not only did they not turn me away, but in the middle of working on other cars, the team took time out to help me — patiently and without rushing. They checked the battery, ran diagnostics, reset systems, and walked me through what might be going on, calmly and clearly.
They didn’t charge me a dime for the help, even though they easily could have. They simply wanted to make sure I was okay and safe to drive. In the end, the issue resolved on its own — but the way Hazael’s handled it made a lasting impression.
This review isn’t about a big repair job — it’s about how honest, kind, and human these mechanics are. They’ve earned my full trust, and I’ll absolutely be bringing my car back to Hazael’s the next time I need anything.

Our brakes went out 400 miles from home. We called everywhere, went everywhere. No one has the parts for our 80-series 1990 Land Cruiser.
The specialty brakes shop sent us to Hazael!
Initially, they told us the same thing everyone else did. We were SOL.
Luckily the gentleman with the longer hair took mercy on us and he spent ALL DAY driving to shops and literally opening boxes of brake pads trying to find one that would match ours.
With some grinding and true know-how, these guys got us on the road again safely!
This is where experience, skill, and ingenuity are key. And that's what you need in a mechanic, no matter your car's dilemma.
They did not have to go to the extreme lengths that they went to (and do same day service!). But...they did!
I will forever have great reverence for the lengths they went to in order to get us back on the road.
They're a real-deal shop with real-deal guys who know their stuff and give it to you straight. There was no BS, no trying to upsell, no fluff.
From the bottom of my family's hearts, we thank you, Hazael's. You handled our emergency road-trip situation like true heroes.

I had the control arms replaced on my 2012 Mazda 5 by Juan. I had asked him to save the old parts. I want to see how much they were worn. His team performed a great job at 30% less than all the other mechanics I called. I will certainly be going back to him again!
Great mechanic honest and fair pricing I went to him two times one of them had problem with the turbo return coolant hose it’s hard job and he did the job perfectly
I had a sheared bolt I needed help removing from my exhaust. I was told I would be given an estimate before any work would be completed. They lied, and did the work without my approval. I was charged an hour labor ($120) - to remove a bolt that would take any mechanic 20 minutes or less to do. Insulting experience, I regret patronizing this business.
Parking brakes fixed on my 2003 Tahoe. Plus I'd broken off a bolt working on them myself. These guys worked really hard. Got me back on the road for a fair price. I'll be back. Thank you Hazael!
Like anyone looking for a mechanic, I was skeptical. As someone who has grown up around mechanics, and understands cars I am always hesitant when trying a new shop out.
But from the beginning Juan was very respectful, responsive, and honest.
He fixed my car, didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need or lie about what was broken (I already knew my radiator needed to be replaced).
But what earned this 5-Star review is their honesty about fixing a small mistake, even months after the repair.
After my radiator was replaced, I didn’t drive the car much, but recently I tried the AC and it wasn’t working. I immediately knew that the radiator and ac compressor are next to each other in my car and I knew that there was a high likelihood that something was missed when reassembling the car.
I called the shop, spoke to Juan he told me to bring it by, Damian remembered my car and the work, took a look and found the issue. He immediately went to work on it and got my car fixed up as fast as he could with the AC blowing cold!
The shop isn’t fancy, and there’s no where really to wait around. But it’s a trustworthy shop and I would take my car back there again (and likely will get it serviced there going forward)
They were easy to communicate with and flexible. The driver arrived on time and was kind and helpful. The car was clean and they had complimentary water bottles for us. It was a great decision to book with them and made our wedding night stress free!
Juan is the man! Got me in on short notice and was friendly and fast. Came in with a mystery oil leak and he diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. Competitive labor charges and excellent communication. I’d go back any day!
Called just as they were opening because my brakes needed replacing ASAP. They got me in right away and had me back on the road in about 4 hours (rotors were sent to a machine shop to be resurfaced) for a reasonable price. They were very friendly and trustworthy, and I'll be back.
I have taken 3 of my cars to Jaun over the years. This is the most awesome ethical mechanic shops I’ve been to. I recommend them to anyone that has a car issue.
They took care of my car's ABS pump and didn't try to upsell me on anything. They also went out of their way to find a cheaper used part rather than an expensive new one which I appreciated. Juan was very responsive by phone and their hours are great if you work a 9-5.
Ethical, reasonably priced, quick to figure out problems, they treat my vehicles as if they were their own. These guys love cars, and it shows from beginning to end.
Honest and reliable auto care. Took my van here for an alternator issue on a Saturday when other shops were closed. Took care of my van and listen to what i needed to get replaced. 10/10 recommended.
Ive been bringing my car here for over 6 years. Never once had an issue, or complaint about this place. The workers are always super friendly and courteous. Just recently i was stuck about 10 blocks away with a dead battery and Juan came and jumped my car and let me drive away without paying a penny! I brought my car in to Juan after having some issues and working on my vehicle myself the day before for an entire day. Apparently whatever I did just needed some time to register in the car’s computer but I was experiencing all kinds of issues and thought I still had a mechanical problem. I brought the car into him and he evaluated it and didn’t charge me a penny sending me out the door with peace of mind. He’s a very kind and honest man, highly recommended!! I found my new mechanic.
Have used this auto place for years! Juan is the owner and is always willing to put you to the front of the line of its an emergency. Just drove right up today and he fixed the underside of my bumper and checked to make sure no damage in just 20 minutes. Very thankful to ha e his services.
Fast and efficient, estimate was spot on. My strong column is wobbly at high speeds though. I'm taking it back in a few days to see what they say, If they fix that for free then this will bump up to 5
Hazael autocare provided me with the most outstanding customer service. They really care about their clients and provided me with an honest quote on how much it would be to fix my car. He gave me options when it came to what was urgent and what could wait a little longer, I liked that! He also gave me a timeframe for my vehicle to be done and even finished it sooner.
