Went there this morning at 7 30 as is says outside the store that it opens at 7 30 but they made me wait till 8 00 to open the door for me even though all the staff was inside. After that gave me a wrong part and when I called in to seek assistance the lady misbehaved soo much and said we can’t help you right now you can come back some other time I am busy there are a lot of people here. Then I can to the store 2 mins later as I live near by and she was smoking outside and the store was empty Would never come here again because of this staff Specially the black women whom I referred to with such respect but she misbehaved

I just want to shout out Patrick. Being a dad a few states away from my girls and not being able to help with their car issues is rough. Patrick went above and beyond to make sure their vehicle was safe and road-ready, which gives me real peace of mind. His care and professionalism are greatly appreciated.

I feel like the older gentleman that works the evening shift is 100% a racist! I felt the animosity and the resentment he holds onto like I feel hot and cold! He was rude, he did not help me in any way, and he was just there to make people feel uncomfortable and wrong for asking questions and trying to explain what was wrong with my vehicle. He made it very clear that he thought I was stupid and that i didn't know what I was talking about with my own vehicle. I will not go back to this AutoZone and I will not recommend this location to anyone. If there was a negative scale he'd be at the bottom of it. Terrible experience. Racism should not be tolerated in a position having to deal with every ethnicity on a day to day basis.

Filthy and very uncooperative staff that not only act a certain way. For example like if you are like me, you do know what you're doing to your car and what you need. Not only do they try to upsale you through the roof but will always recommend something that is unnecessary to your vehicle or even dangerous. That aside the place is utterly filthy outside with tons of homeless and broken into vehicles outaide. Like....all the time. And trash and etc just the people and the area I would not recommend going here.

The lady didn't know what she was doing. She took forever to put my battery in and didn't connect the terminals in tightly. The next day my car didn't start a couple of times.. luckily my husband was driving and knew what it was. Just bad customer service!

Kai successfully replaced my car battery after being declined by multiple other places. Four star rating because the clerk with blue lipstick originally tried to turn me down and wouldn’t even offer to charge my dead battery.

01/11/2026 I bought a Duralast Jack to check that it was okay. I opened it and went to throw away the extra trash that came in the box, but since there wasn't one nearby, I had to go to one that was far away, and when I returned my cat was no longer in my truck. I'm leaving now, it's 10:49. The guys who repair cars outside Autozone know who did it, but they're covering for each other.

Terrific experiences here. The employees rock: they're knowledge and extremely friendly. David in particular is a super good dude who knows his stuff goes above and beyond to be helpful. There's a couple auto part stores near me, but I always go here because of David. I hope AutoZone does whatever it needs to do to keep him on for as long as he wants to stay. Seriously one of the best experiences I've had as a customer at any store.

Wow!!! Way to be so extremely helpful....LOL... NOT!!!! I'm a single mom with 3 young children. I was getting gas, snacks, drinks, and my 3 children and I all used the restroom while we there, so of course we where inside for sometime.... After pumping the gas I prepared for, I went to start my vehicle. At this point I was faced with a frustrating problem and 3 children who wanted to get going. I did a quick Google search for advice on how to best get immediate and quick assist with the dead battery (I specified AutoZone in my Google search since it was only steps away from the gas station). My Google search results stated that "AutoZone is Always happy to help with battery tests, replacements, jumps, advice, parts, etc. and being at their location and/or very close in proximity is the absolute best way for an Autozone employee to assist. It also noted that the AutoZone employees have full access, are knowledgeable/trained in this, and they are to be of assistance to those who are in situations such as mine". With all of that being said, I called the AutoZone direct location phone number provided by google. I female employee answer and inquired about how she could be of help. I was very patient and polite knowing that even though I was stressed out and my 3 children were too...that this was only due to the personal situation I was in. That this was no fault of hers, I was not intitled to receive any help, and she had zero constrol. The only way she could be of any assistance is by doing her job and working with the tools she was provided. I expect absolutely nothing more than this basic assistant from her. Once I received her almost immediate and short response to my request for assistant, I knew she was simply not going to even attempt to do her job and I was wasting my time, effort, energy, and so I simply chose to say "ok, well thank you so much for your time" and I hung up. Done, done, and done!!! Ugh 😫 Well as of now, I will completely avoid any further business, positive word of mouth, etc. pertaining to ALL AUTOZONES! They can consider me a complete and utter loss of business. Rant over! LMBO sorry, not sorry

I had such a great experience at AutoZone thanks to a team member named Ky (or Kay) I’m not sure how he spelt his name. He was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful from start to finish. Not only did he remove my old battery and install the new one for me, but he also took extra time to help me troubleshoot an issue with my headlights. He explained everything clearly and really went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. It’s honestly rare to find customer service this genuine and thoughtful. Thank you, Ky/Kay, for your professionalism and kindness—you definitely made a stressful car issue so much easier! And he knows how stressed I was lol😭🩷

I visited this AutoZone on October 26, 2025, around 4:45 PM to buy new headlights. While waiting in line, I helped translate for a customer who needed assistance in Spanish. During that time, another cashier called out to me saying “hey Amigo!” at first I didn’t hear him because I was still translating, but he repeated it again. I then noticed some of the other employees laughing in the background. The tone and timing made it feel demeaning, as if he assumed I didn’t speak English because I was helping someone in Spanish. I’m Filipino, not Mexican, but regardless of background, no one should be addressed in a way that feels disrespectful or mocking. This experience made me uncomfortable and disappointed. I genuinely expected better from people in Seattle and from a company like AutoZone. I hope management addresses this and reminds employees to treat every customer with professionalism and respect.

Patrick is nothing short of amazing. My daughter and I went in feeling very unsure of how to fix a battery issue. Patrick explained everything thoroughly and gave alternate options. We greatly appreciate his help, his kindness and sincerity he showed towards us and the rest of the customers being assisted that day. He provided the highest level of customer service I have seen in a long time to everyone there. I wished all locations ran like this thanks again Patrick!

I stopped by here recently and had a lovely experience. The store had everything I needed, of course. The person working was an elderly gentleman and he was very helpful, funny, and kind. We spoke briefly about our lives (and grandpas) and it was so touching, I will remember it for the rest of my life. You are in good hands at this location. Thank you, sir! (Also AutoZone, give this man a raise, please!)

Shout out to KAI, the most amazing customer service I've ever had at any sort of auto parts store. We had to swap a battery that was not doing great and we obviously needed some help. Kai took time in 85+ degree scorching sun and a busy store of customers to help us out and make sure everything was safe and secure. He was incredible, I only wish I could've tipped him or something of the sort. Thanks again, Kai, you saved our weekend.

Went to return an unopened jumper cable (with receipt). Manager confused me with someone else and said, "I told you when you came in here yesterday, we don't do rentals. It's final sale." After clearing up that I had never visited this location before, he then said that he could not accept an opened return. I told him I had not even opened the package and had no clue what the inside looked like. He outright said he would not accept it, so I left. I went to the Renton AutoZone location the same afternoon and promptly had my return processed & refunded in <30 seconds. There are no opinions here, just facts. I'm not sure what policy the manager here was quoting, but if he is able to refuse my valid return then it's in my right to describe my experience for others to know too.

The manager here is amazing. He asked questions to understand my truck's issue, explained things thoroughly, coached his employee through diagnosing the issue, and provided resources for further improving my vehicle. I would gladly shop here again and really appreciate my positive experience

I came to AutoZone on a busy Black Friday. A gentleman named Art Henderson, and another courteous employee, helped me get a new battery for my Porsche. Art greeted me by name as I came to the cash register (I had called earlier inquiring about stats on the battery, what kind to buy, price, cranking power, amps, etc.). He was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. The other gentleman informed me about the return policy on my old battery, optional warranty details, and recommended a kit (small felt pads and lube to help with the install) which I bought. Great recommendation! It worked! Both employees were so courteous and helpful. So refreshing that there are good guys out there helping customers. This is now my new "go to" automotive store.
