When I first arrived with 4 warning lights flashing on a Saturday, Dani at the front desk was so kind and reassuring. She made calls for me and set me at ease. The whole experience was professional and the work done efficiently. I am very pleased with the work Jeff’s Auto repair did on my car.

This store was soooo kind, my tire was low pressured bc of the weather, and when I came in store i think it was after their reception time, and all their mechanics left, and the receptionist person still helped me, they were so kind🥹such a community friendly store!

Great experience. Worked with me on appt time /date and did an oil chance and 50 point safety check, rotated my tires , and let me know my wipers were shredded 😳 on my 2016 Subaru Outback. Dani very helpful and gave me info on my outback’s know problems! Thank you

This shop is stellar in service and dedication. I came in expecting the worst for my car and they confirmed it but offered options for next steps which helped me find new wheels. When bill came due they even sprang for coupons to help me out with a generous discount. I strongly recommend Jeff’s service.

Super nice guys that I interacted with. Called only a few hours ahead of a pre-purchase inspection and they were able to squeeze me in. Was originally supposed to wait 3 hours but they finished up in 1.5. The report they sent was detailed, and as a first-time buyer, they helped explain the pros and cons of the car I wanted. Highly recommend!!

Matt is awesome! He made the whole process super easy and stress-free. He explained what was going on with my car in plain English, laid out the options, and never once made me feel pressured. The work was done quickly, the price was fair, and my car honestly drives better than it has in years. What stood out most was how genuine Matt was. It felt like he was looking out for me, not just fixing a problem. If you’re in Seattle and need a trustworthy auto shop, definitely ask for Matt. He’s the reason I’ll be coming back.

This experience was horrible I paid for a diagnostic check and got no answers and my car is worst than when I took it there. My car won’t even drive when I went to pick it up it lost power 10feet from their shop and I had to push it at 9pm to a parking spot and leave it there.

Replaced my rear shocks and struts that were long overdue as well as new tires. They knew I had a budget to work within so worked to find me the best deals. Quality work as always with no tricks.

I got an ATF (transmission fluid) drain and fill done for over $100 less than dealer price and Matt threw in a simple tire patch and fuel system flush. They also did a full inspection and found a few other things I need to think about in the future without forcing it on me, rather informing me like a true partner in the maintenance of my vehicle. This is what you want from your mechanic.

Pros: They do answer the phone when/if you call. Everyone there was very friendly. They did get the vehicle started, and it drove home fine. Cons: Service cost almost $300 more than the original estimate, and took two weeks for a battery replacement, which was pretty inconvenient. They seem to be understaffed right now, so I'd recommend taking vehicles in need of diagnostics elsewhere if you need prompter or more comprehensive service.

I've never written a negative review on a local business before as a local business owner myself, but they left me with no choice unfortunately. I decided to take my BMW to Jeff's to save some money instead of going to the dealership. I dropped it off on a Wednesday and on Friday I called and asked for an update. I was told it needed a new battery and it would cost $500. I called on Tuesday asking for an update and never got a call back. On Wednesday I was able to get ahold of Matt who was surprised no one called me. He went out to the car and said, well it turns on it must be fine, come pick it up. I then went to get it the next morning and my bill came to $900 for a battery change. I was very confused and Matt said he could knock a $100 off and blamed the lack of communication on them being busy. I immediately called BMW and asked them how much it would be and they said $550-600. I then called Matt back to say this isn't ok and he said he would call me this week. It's Friday and clearly that never happened. I'm extremely disappointed in all aspects of how they treated me. Ironically, as I told my neighbors about this, they have all had similar experiences, so it was not just me. You go to your neighborhood shop to save some money and get good service, not get ripped off.

I have been using Jeff's for only 2 years, but I've been enjoying their funny signs since 1999! After my car's dealer warranty expired, I shifted to Jeff's because the Subaru dealer made me feel like I could use a shower after I'd leave there. Some slick salesman inevitably approached me, wanting to "put me into" a new car (car payment!). The dealer staff dont feel genuine. At Jeff's, the mechanics feel like honest, salt of the earth guys who come to work with their lunch pails and no agenda beyond doing their best work for you. I've dealt with Steve the most, and he gives me a thorough explanation of what the inspection found before they begin work. They are good at following up. I won't consider going back to the car dealer! Also, their signs are entertaining. I appreciate that they invest the time to give the local community a daily chuckle.

Great place and super helpful staff! My rear tire popped during rush hour and AAA wouldn't be able to come for a long while, so I was very lucky to be only a block away from Jeff's. Despite the heat and the unexpected nature of the situation, Matt and Pops took the time to not just help me replace the popped tire with my spare, but patched the holes that caused the issue in the first place! It is such an encouraging experience to know that the local auto shop is not only the place with the comedic signs, but also a place with great character.

Great experience! It was my first time coming here, I needed a pre purchase inspection and Matt was very informative and was able to get my engine air filter replaced and flush my brake fluid within two hours - excellent communication, service, and results. I’d definitely recommend going.

I worked with Matt to get my 20+ year old Toyota repaired after it broke down and needed to be towed in by AAA. This is one of the most communicative car shops I’ve ever worked with and I was able to keep up to date with my car repairs over phone and text message. I appreciated they were able to provide me a digital copy of my inspection report with images which made it easier to share what was wrong with my car with others in my life. They also gave me a printed and digital copy of my receipt/line-by-line invoice. Everyone was friendly! Big picture, I had to get my car towed in and I chose this shop (although it was somewhat out of the way of where my car broke down on Aurora) because when I’ve called in the past, the people I talked to took the time to explain their inspection process, leaving keys if I needed to tow my car in, and were even willing to pick up the phone 5 min after the shop closed when I had a last minute question. Thanks!!

I had to get my entire front right headlight replaced after what seemed like just a need to change a lightbulb as the solution. Matt and Steve really took the time to take care of me, get the part ordered, and help me get this fixed. I’m very happy with the outcome, the price we were able to do this repair for, and their warm hospitality and consistency. Thank you so much guys

From the ease of scheduling an online appointment (with coupons listed on their webpage) to the diligence in checking in with status updates, the staff at Jeff’s Auto Repair ensured I felt informed and comfortable before proceeding. I received additional recommendations via text and email, ranging from serious to mid-range, and Shota provided me estimates in a timely manner when I asked to complete some recommended tasks and offered timelines on when to return for other additional work. The mechanics provided photographs in their reports so as to not only tell me, but also show me their rationale behind recommendations. To top it off, they backed in my car to its final parking spot so I didn’t have to stress about backing out onto the road. Very grateful to have found a great crew to care for my car moving forward.
