Chuck’s Auto is a well run, friendly and clean repair/maintenance shop. They are professional and are clear when and why they make their estimates, backing up their suggestions with photos taken on site. We absolutely trust our vehicles with Chuck’s and you should too!

I work next door to Chuck's, so the first time I needed service I figured it would be convenient. As with any new-to-me shop, I was nervous about getting overcharged or tricked into unnecessary services. But they have been timely, communicative, transparent, and helpful every time! Letting me know what services are essential and which can wait, patiently explaining things to me, and getting work done quickly. I was inspired to write this post after their kindest act yet - last week I punctured a whole hole in a tire that I had recently purchased from them. After scraping it on a curb. The hole was so bad that I couldn't even drive the car the two blocks over to their shop. Eric left his desk immediately to come and help me inflate the tire, and when that didn't work swapped out my wheel for the spare so I could drive it the rest of the way. They got a new tire ordered on warranty, which came in first thing Monday. It took 3 minutes to swap on and they sent me on my way!

Outstanding customer service and honesty. They were patient explaining the problem and helping me understand my options. They were able to diagnose and repair a break problem even though they were not able to repeat the malfunction. I’ve come twice now for repairs and while I was loyal to my previous shop, Chuck’s has won me over and they have my business for any future repairs.

This was my first visit to Chuck’s Auto Repair and I’ll definitely be back for any future repair needs! Their online scheduling system and after-hours drop off option made things hassle free. Dave was extremely thorough in explaining each of their recommended services after the initial inspection and offered advice on which to prioritize. The inspection report was broken down into “Requires Immediate Attention”, “May Require Attention Soon”, and “Checked & Okay” categories, making it even easier to determine which services were best given my budget. They are so nice here, I've been coming for about a year and Dave has helped me A LOT. They always let me know what's going on and try to help me save money. Definitely go here if you want a reliable shop with friendly people. I reccomend.

I’ve been visiting Chuck’s for the past three years, and I’ve had nothing but great experiences! Everything from the drop-off to the diagnosis report, estimates, and pick-up is super easy and stress-free. The staff is always so patient, explaining everything from the most urgent to the less pressing issues. They’re always happy to answer my questions since I’m not a car expert. When I wasn’t sure if I needed a new car, they also let me know if they think it would be a better idea than a major repair. They’re always upfront about what they think. They also took the time to deal with my extended warranty company to get some parts covered. I would definitely recommend them!

They inspected and diagnosed an issue I was experiencing with my car, explained everything in clear detail, and fixed it while taking into account my personal situation. I’m safely back on the road and couldn’t be happier with my experience with them.

Chuck's is our favorite mechanic, it's where we take our car to fix issues missed (or caused) by other places. They do great work, they're fair, and so polite. I really appreciate the extra time they take to help me understand the work done and why it's important. I dropped off my car to have my service light investigated. The team found other items that needed to be addressed. I agreed to have the items fixed. The team handled all my issue swiftly and kept me updated as the service was coming along. Their customer service was a breath of fresh air.

I had a great experience taking my car to Chuck’s. I got out of my car and could here the water or coolant boiling, I took my car in and it was just the radiator cap, I was prepared for the worst but it was a simple fix! Everyone was kind and kept in good communication! Thank you for making it easy!

I don't give criticism lightly, but after being a customer for almost a decade, I'm still hung up on how poorly the last job went, primarily because my car appears to be permanently damaged. The team replaced my car's old (albeit working) shocks/struts last July per their recommendation (it was suggested as an optional job for an improved drivability) . All newly installed parts failed within a month and the team advised over the phone that I keep driving on them for a couple of weeks to see if they "break in", which turned out to be terrible advice. While driving on broken shocks/struts, multiple coolant lines broke, which I didn't question paying to fix since I figured they would have broken eventually anyway. Chuck's ended up replacing the shocks/struts under warranty, which fixed the obvious bouncing/squeaking, but there continued to be a grinding noise in the front while driving over speed bumps. The grinding sound is where we're stuck. Chuck's seemed to trivialize my concern over the sound since it doesn't happen over every bump, so I ended up seeking second opinions. I've been back and forth to Chuck's, the dealership (who sent me back to Chuck's), and a German specialist. I replaced the sway bar and control arms, and Chuck's replaced the front shocks/struts again (which I appreciate), but the grinding still acts up on the front left. The workers here have been otherwise friendly over the years and did acceptable work, but this experience broke my trust with them since I went in with a well-maintained car and came out with a chronic issue. I advise anyone with German vehicle to stick with a specialist.

Although I was lucky enough not needing their service after all. But the quotation I received from them is nothing short of 5 stars. I got some code error for my car and I tried to do some DIY repairs based on what I found on the web (provided the error code, 6 potential items need repair/replaced.) for the part that I was having problem to DIY repair. I sent to 3 shops for quotes Chuck's Auto Repair not only provide the better (and reasonable pricing) among the 3 shops. They also give details of what may NOT need to be done among the list I sent in and the reason for it. The only reason I didn't end up using their service is because I ended up DIY the rest of the repair on my own, was in a hurry and need to have the car fixed before a road trip but they couldn't schedule a repair till one week after. If I have to get another repair in the future. I definitely won't feel hesitate to contact them again!

Chuck's Auto Repaie - Maple Leaf has been my go to mechanic for the last 7 years. I appreciate the automated text messages letting me know when it's time to schedule maintenance or when to pick up my car. If they find any extra work that was not quoted they'll immediately reach out to discuss your options. Great customer service and very down to earth workers. No pomp, no frills, just solid work.

I don’t give reviews often, but felt that Chuck’s earned a well deserved 5 stars. My Kia recently got broken into, as Kia’s have been targeted recently. I initially towed it over to the Caliber Collision on 99, who rejected my car saying they “didn’t accept towed vehicles” due to a “city ordinance”. So I called Chuck’s and asked if they would accept my car and they said, “of course, bring it on over”. I was able to get my car to them after hours and left my key in the drop box. The next week was back and forth with insurance, which Chuck’s was very understanding and patient about. Chuck’s were extremely upfront about costs/repairs needed to get done. Once the parts were ordered, they completed the repairs in a few days time. Even though they are closed on the weekends, Eric told me he would be in the shop for an hour on Saturday if I wanted to pick up my car then, which was really nice to offer. Upon getting back my keys, Eric gave me advice on how to prevent further break-ins and also offered to check my tires/oil free of charge. Everyone I talked to on the phone was extremely nice, friendly and empathetic. I am definitely coming back to them the next time I need service, as they have 100% earned my trust. Thanks, guys!

Chuck’s is incredibly friendly and professional. Provides details of your repairs and costs up front, including itemized electronic info where they help you prioritize your repairs so you can make conscious decisions. I was blown away by their customer service and transparency. My car, which had multiple issues, drives like a dream after their super quick repairs. They’ve got a new loyal customer. :) Also they gave my dog treats. You can’t go wrong when your dog gives his seal of approval.

The folks at Chuck's were friendly and helpful. I took my diesel VW in for an oil change, and the service was great. I got a call the next morning because they didn't realise they had used diesel oil that was old, (since they don't work on diesel's as often), and quickly put in brand new oil (in under an hour) and for my trouble offered me a free oil change. They were very apologetic, and I appreciated their honesty - They are a trustworthy business.

Friendly and courteous staff. Work was performed when scheduled and completed within estimated time limits. Estimates were explicit and detailed, fully explaining what needed to be done and what it would cost. Delighted with the care my car was given and will use Chuck's Auto Repair again. I'm so grateful to have found an auto repair shop whose staff are honest, clear, and reliable. Owen worked with me to understand the results of the overall inspection (without talking down to me) and to prioritize work that needed to be done, asking clarifying questions about how long I planned to keep the car. I was never pressured and, based on our conversations, I asked them to do only half of the work on the initial report. I have never had such a positive experience with an auto repair shop. Chuck's Auto Repair was able to take our car the same day we called about a problem and also did the semiannual servicing we requested. They did a thorough inspection and explained very clearly everything they recommended and the pricing. They stayed within the estimate and had our car back to us quickly - in Monday and out on Wednesday. We have been taking our cars there for decades, starting when Chuck Peters, the original owner, was there. The new owner and staff have continued Chuck's tradition of fast, friendly, reliable service. We highly recommend them.

Chucks Auto Repair went above and beyond not only with quality work, but to my surprise, they got everything that needed to be done with very quick turn-around. Our total bill was less than the estimate given because a couple of issues turned out to be easy fixes upon inspection. They could have said anything to charge a higher rate, so I was very impressed with their honesty and will absolutely make the drive to Seattle if I ever need work done on my car again.
