What clients say about Whole Foods Market in Seattle Hill (WA)
-
Whole Foods has some of the best pies around. They are better than any other grocery store pies and are very reasonably priced. The strawberry-rhubarb pie (my favorite) are only available when in season and can be difficult to find. Try to get there early in the day because they sell out quickly.

I had such a lovely experience at Whole Foods Market on Westlake Ave in Seattle on 02/21/2026 around 3:05pm and I just want to say thank you to the nice young man who helped me that afternoon. I came in looking for a Hydro Flask and he took the time to help me find the exact one I wanted without making me feel rushed, he was genuinely friendly and patient and made the whole shop feel easy and relaxed. He also sorted something out for me at the till which I really appreciated and it honestly made my day. Proper good customer service like that doesn’t go unnoticed and he’s a real credit to the store.

Nice location- always stocked and I love the cheese section- staff is helpful. Store can be crowded at any time of the day.

Got pizzas here for Valentine’s Day party and they were completely burnt. Like it was inedible. Should’ve checked them I guess in the store before taking away. Prepared food needs to get it together

Break health violations wearing food protocol outside and smoking with gloves that are food usage. Clean carpet with food equipment on doesn't follow health protocols of Washington yet they want to pretend to care for individual and pretentious also

Energetic and well-stocked store with a busy atmosphere. We found everything we needed without any issues. Self check out is obviously preferred as we had difficulty locating a cashier.

If you need me, I’ll be over here bowing down to Carolyn in the Cheese- Specialty Department! 🧀✨ I walked in today completely frantic and clueless about how to build a charcuterie board for a party. Carolyn didn't just point me to the cheese; she gave me a full-blown masterclass! She walked me through the store to find the perfect pairings for the meats I already had, explained flavor profiles, and gave me the confidence to put together something amazing. It is SO rare to find this level of genuine kindness and expertise. Carolyn, you are a rockstar! I had to take this picture of her because kindness like that is a rare and deserves to be recognized! Thank you Carolyn 😊

This store is usually chaos. Validates parking if needed. On the smaller side for a Whole Foods, with a more limited selection of products. Prepared food section not great. It must be popular because it’s usually destroyed and mostly empty, at least every time I’ve gone. Whats left never looks appetizing and is very pricey.

I had to go ask for a refund for this, but bffr. I almost hadn’t checked it before leaving the store, and they wasted the time it took to go pick it up. Handing a burnt pizza to a customer, knowing you’ve burnt it. What was the thought process behind that?

It's got Amazon money and it shows. In the only safe area of the city...Amazon country, as I call it. Sadly. Great if you can walk/bus. It can get very crowded though, as it's a high foot traffic area. Has some cheap products and a large food bar, if you're too hungry to cook.

Food here is so fresh and staff are so nice! Does anyone know who won the gingerbread house contest

This is one of my favorite locations! You can park in the garage or on the upper deck…which is really convenient. This location stays open a little later than some of the other ones and they usually have a good selection of meat and produce….also, the store is usually clean whenever I’ve gone. It can get pretty busy in the evenings but the lines move quickly. I’d definitely recommend this location over the one in Interbay.

Whole Foods Market is clean, well-organized, and filled with high-quality products. The produce is always fresh, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a great grocery store if you value quality and a pleasant experience.

We all know what Whole Foods has to offer. Semi quality foods advertised as quality. Honestly a lot of their produce tastes like water. No flavor, not like true organic produce. Everything there is up charged, for the same brands you can find at other stores. Example, a 16oz coconut water is $8.99 while other stores have it for $3.99. There is absolutely no space to walk around. You’re always running into someone and having to wait to walk because there is no space to walk. It’s a nightmare to walk around. Lastly, the employees horrify me. They’re constantly staring at me while I’m shopping and I have never stolen anything. Meanwhile other white customers are stealing away. The employees are constantly harassing people of color. It’s also really sad because their employees are also poc, just not bipoc. I guess that’s why they stare so hard at bipoc. It’s almost like they’re fan-girling the way they stare. I have videos. I don’t enjoy coming here even though I live across the street. I don’t enjoy being harassed, stared at. I don’t enjoy the mediocre foods. Please people support local shops that have the same brands. This is a terrible business to support.

I came here multiple times in May, June, July, August, September, October, November and each time their hot bar had the same exact items. Do they think we’re robots? A change in food selection would be more than welcome. Preferably with cleaner ingredients.

I'm highly disappointed with this store. I've had to deal with alot of upsetting situations over something so simple that you would think should be already understood. I'm a daily customer of the whole food store ,and the employees who work here in the back making and serving pizza dont have a full understanding in my opinion that they are there to serving us the paying public. They have told me over and over again that they can't reheat up the pizza that they are serving. Meaning they saying they can't put the pizza back in the oven for reheat for a few minutes. Andrew one of the supervisor in my opinion has not handled that situation properly. He gave me a gift card and rewarded me for the one time I had to leave with a cold pizza, but then I've still had the same situation two more times after that , the staff denying me proper service. At this point I have no choice but to give the staff making & serving the pizza & Andrew two thumbs down. 👎🏽 You guys need a make over at this store , they make the whole food store look bad. Why are you telling people you can't reheat up the pizza you are making. Poor customers, bad attitudes, and not showing the proper respect for paying customers. My encounter is bad attitudes unfriendly works running across this store big time. Somebody help Westlake Wholefood get it together please & thank you . Make over needed here big time .

A must visit place when we come to states. Like the hot food section in the store. Tasted better than they look actually. Enjoyed the selection of protein, carb and veg options. Have a good selections of cakes and sweet treats too. Interestingly, we have to be a customer in order to use the toilet hence I have to grab a bag of chips, paid for it and get the toilet code on the receipt to access the toilet. Fair practice. They have a sit down area where we can enjoy the food.

Everything I bought was delicious, not one leftover. For buffet style service, this food is gourmet! I am an accomplished cook and senior citizen and I am really impressed with this store!

This is one of my favorite Whole Foods stores! The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the selection is great. Today I met Abraham at the meat counter — he was incredibly kind and attentive, asking about what we needed and helping us pick and prepare our beef. His care and attention to detail went far beyond my expectations. Experiences like this make me love this store even more!

We absolutely love shopping at Whole Foods! It has truly become our go-to place because we can pretty much find everything we need in one stop—from fresh organic fruits and vegetables, to ready-made salads, sandwiches, and even hot meal plates. The variety and quality of the selection make grocery shopping not just convenient, but also enjoyable. Parking is hassle-free and conveniently located, which is always a plus. The store is also very toddler- and PWD-friendly, making it accessible and comfortable for everyone. The self-checkout stations are quick and easy to use, which really speeds up the process, especially during busier hours. The staff are consistently courteous and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. On top of that, the entire grocery hall is beautifully designed, well-lit, and immaculately maintained—everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully organized. Whole Foods isn’t just a grocery store—it’s an experience that makes shopping feel effortless and even enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who values quality, convenience, and excellent service!

A great stop for a hot, cold or made to order meal. Yes it is a grocery store as well. I love the sandwiches, the chipotle chicken and bacon. The food bar always has a broad selection of local, national, international and vegetarian options. The store also has a great wine selection.

They had everything I needed as I stocked up some stuff for my Airbnb. Good variety on everything. Store was very organized. Liked the self checkout option.

Awesome prices for Prime members, especially. And great gifts selection (thinks you don't need but may want 😁). I always get my Argon Oil here. Best quality, especially compared to Trader Joe's or other drug stores. Today it was $6.86, basically like buying 2, get 3rd bottle free!! Sold!

You pay per weight for the hot-bar (already cooked food), not per the box you pick, so be aware of how many food you grabbing. They have the cup for soup, the price is fixed per cup. Very convenient location, it is right next to the bus stops and street car. All are walking accessible. Overall the store is clean and neat, the employees willing to help if you have any question. You can do a decent shopping here. I often come here for the hot-bar, found some tasty: the toasted chicken, the cheese macaroni and mushroom, putting in some veggies and you have a full nutrition meal, but again you pay per the weight of the food you grabbed.

Great place to get lunch. They have good choice of hot food and soups. There are also multiple checkout lines and they move quick. There is also a bathroom but you need a code, which can be found on the receipt.

This is a solid whole foods in downtown Seattle. Very spacious, pretty clean and friendly staff even though they are busy all the time. They have everything you need from fruits vegetables to your daily soap. Usually their live food counter is my favorite with a lot of vegetables, meat and soup options . Highly recommend this whole foods !

I love whole foods. I don't know if this is a good store as I've never been to any other whole foods but I love it. As a celiac they have so many yummy gluten free options. Prices are obvs pretty high but I feel fairly ok paying them. Not any higher though.. the flowers are always so pretty at this store. The staff are either neutral or mean. They could probably hire more friendly staff.

One of the better Whole Foods that I have been to. It is very clean, spacious, and well designed. The aisles are wide apart and the store is one whole rectangular space that is easy to navigate through, making the grocery shopping experience even more enjoyable. Nice to have a deli corner, and many self check-out kiosks in this store, which usually makes the line move faster.

A very nice place for your groceries and also for a variety of fresh food items. I especially like the salad bar. It displays many items and all look fresh. Prices are also very reasonable and competitive. The place is staffed by helpful and professional staff. Highly recommended!
