So disappointed you used to find great stuff here but ever since they opened their online store they pick out everything worth anything, not to mention the CEO is paying himself millions while paying workers Penny's from stuff people donate to help others let that sink in.But if you want to fight people over dirty shoes and torn clothes to send to Africa be my guest.

Lady with pink hair was super rude for no reason, you don’t treat customers like that. All the other employees were great. No need to be rude and treat people poorly.

Great place to get things, come early and be prepared because people will run you over.

If you are a woman, please do not come here alone. I encountered an older man who was harassing multiple women, asking uncomfortable questions, ignoring boundaries, and invading personal space. I reported him to security and learned they had already received complaints about him, but he was not removed. Fifteen minutes later, he was still in the store, so I decided to leave. I’m not sure if they ever asked him to leave, but I didn’t stay to find out. This does not feel like a safe space. It was my first and last time visiting the bins.

Unable to shop because of my empty backpack? Im on a scooter. Idk how they expect me to transport things I buy? Its empty and I asked if there was somewhere I can put it and I was told no.

I recently visited the sodo outlet and was suprised to have left with nothing! I go in hopes to find new clothes early in the morning before work. I was informed they don’t do clothes until 11 in the afternoon. It would be nice to do atleast one row of clothes early in the morning so people like me can have a pleasant shopping experience!

Stopped bringing out clothing. No clothes anymore just absolute junk. I drove 8 hours to come just for them to only rotate complete crap. Saw heroin needle, bodily fluid stained pieces of plastic and metal and sharp objects. Extremely dangerous and deeply upsetting. Need to start doing clothes again.

It's a really great place to find stuff that don't normally reach the other good will stores. This location could use more parking. 1 thing I would recommend is a way to know what is being there in the bins each day like is 1 day cloths another day the Same or something else that way people can know what they have that day in a whole. But can get crazy some times there. Also they not do cloths all the time and lately they haven’t been doing cloths they need to do more cloths no one wants toys that often the cloths is all people really want to see here

Awesome place to go spend a relaxing afternoon, especially on a nice day since it's about a 10 minute walk from the metro station. They're open 7 days a week and there's always a million new treasures. Today I spent $46 and I got a ton of cute new clothes plus all of the craft supplies I need, a few really nice pots and pans, some useful hardcover books, and a few little toys and gifts for my husband and kid. Coming from UW It's maybe 20 minutes on the train, and I usually expect to spend about 2 hours shopping. Along with an audiobook and a cup of boba it's basically my perfect afternoon!

Personally, I found the customer service to be exceptional and professional. A few times, I've had staff help me find a cart as soon as I get out of my car in the parking lot. They also help me if there is something too heavy for me to carry or take my cart back for me if I'm struggling (health/mobility issues). I find the staff to be caring and they seem to remember who I am when I see them.

Adding proof of purchase and being at this location. I came here to shop for the first time when a male Karen attempted to commit an act against me. I do not know why as I was simply looking at an item on the floor. I tried to explain to an employee what he had done but I was quickly dismiss since he grabbed her over. I was told to leave since I did not want to further engage fearing for my safety. I think I was target for being POC since they both (yt) were defending each other and she claimed he was a regular there. So women of POC please be careful of this man that I attached a photo of. Horrible service would not go there again nor recommend

No backpacks allowed is discrimination against people who don't drive! How can I bring home the stuff I buy if I'm not allowed my bag? Are you really losing so that you have to ban the law abiding customers too? Guess I'm just allowed here!

I can't believe the amount of people the come here for years and years. The prices are rocketing fast. I was hoping to spend less than 10 dollars for 5 items that weighed less than 3 pounds, I still ended up spending $15. And to ask for my change for them to keep? I dont think so. The ceo of goodwill made millions in the last year, this non profit thing is a bunch of lies I'm sure. I'll still come here for things like papers pens school art supplies. Other than that some clothes are ok and furnitures are only worth it if it's on sale $1.99.

So much stuff and so much fun to sort through. You can find pretty much anything you need. They have large bins full of items and rotate those bins throughout the day. Great spot for a quick visit. Mornings they have various household items, toys, shoes, misc. Afternoons they switch over to all clothes.

Beware of NO BACKPACKS ALLOWED!! Don’t bring one or you’ll have to leave it in the car. It’s hot in there, no AC. You could find decent stuff if you’re good, but it’s mostly clothes that didn’t sell. It’s a bit more than $2 per lb.

The clothes are in bins which is ok, however, there were bugs and crumbs in some piles I dug in. During our look around this goodwill, a homeless person came inside screaming out of nowhere. The security guard did nothing but watch the goodwill workers trying to escort this person out. Definitely not a safe area nor bin digging place to go to. Shop at your own risk!

the bins them selves are alright, there is only 1-2 item bins and the rest is clothes. the whole place is packed with resellers. thats not my main issue though, my main issue is the backpack policy. I am a minor and i came after school with my backpack. the workers told us that the only way to let us have our backpacks is if one of us minor, female students guarded the backpacks while the other shopped alone. I understand that they may have problems with people stealing or possibly bringing in things that they are not allowed to have, but i do think they should allow cubbies or a room where we can put our stuff. Their other option was to leave the backpacks outside alone, it’s seattle and that is very unsafe. All in all, we understand the policy and why it is enforced, but they were rude and disrespectful to us. In the future, i am looking forward to the day goodwill lets me leave my backpack inside. ❤️❤️

Thr thrifting here can't be beat. I've been coming for ten years and always find great stuff, unique items, treasures. However it takes a certain mindset to go there (as well as gloves etc.) In recent months the shoppers have become more aggressive, unfortunately, ruining the vibe for everyone. The incidents of rude behavior, slurs, pushing and shoving and name calling are mostly (in my experience) young males, likely teenagers. I know they shop for their online sites etc, which is fine, many do, but the behavior is discouraging if not threatening. There are older people who shop there, children etc. One of the nice things in the past was everyone's ability to get along and be respectful. I am hoping the employees / managers can address this a little, or maybe post something about community reminders. Thank you!

Interesting store. In general I found the people at this Seattle location to be a lot more courteous and respectful than the other Goodwill Outlets. I’m not much of a thrifter, but I always find something really cool to go home with whenever I shop here. Smells terrible. I can do about 45 minutes before the overwhelming stench of old clothes/mildew/musk gives me a huge headache

Spent a couple hours going through the bins. Found a few nice things. I'd go back with gloves. Also no restrooms. Bio break before you come and bring hand sanitizer for after shopping.

IF YOU HAVE A BACKPACK ON THEY WILL NOT LET YOU IN! never mind the fact that everything is donated, and 90% of everything here didn’t sell in stores, (probably because they charge $30+ for anything that still has a tag on it) They are so afraid of people taking anything, that if you have a back pack on they will not let you in. This is a new policy. With signage posted at the door and a worker guarding the entrance. I told the worker that i just rode a bus an hour to get here and is there any place i could leave said pack. His answer was to wave me out the door. Meanwhile im watching them poor items into giant trash bins that they couldn’t sell. How broken is our system that this occurs? 90% of their clientele are homeless. It breaks my heart.

Had not been here in years. Last time I was there were a lot of homeless and the general quality of the merchandise was not good. However my recent couple visits have been pretty amazing. They have a really good selection, and I have found some great items. There are still some people around that are less than 'ideal' but that is pretty much the norm after covid anywhere. The employees have also been really nice.

Used to avoid this goodwill due to the addicts but it’s the norm in Seattle now. Pickers hit this place hard. I’d recommend stopping by if you’re visiting the nearby Seattle flagship goodwill. Snagged this hoodie my 1st time back in years.

Good will is simply for the people. A wide variety of selections where I could find many great pieces of clothing. The bins are separated into shoes, toys, random objects, and clothes. They simply put the objects into a bin and you take what you want. The area is packed with tons of people. I would suggest bringing multiple bags to carry the clothes and gloves for safety. It’s also insanely cheap. I was able to buy 5 pairs of clothing for 6 dollars.

Thank you, all hard working people who recycle goods and love the thrifting, it’s an adventure your family will never forget. We filled a cart for $50, quality brands, anything you see at a goodwill that didn’t sell might end up in a bin at outlet…Protection your hands with gloves please. We all live in the same house Seattle. Ripple effect, don’t make a big deal if someone breaks something. ?Karen’s and Kevin’s ur embarrassing Sea, remember ur manners next time! PLEASE Mind your own business, and smile on because we even get to have an outlet that sells goods for $1 lb ?

Pretty sure I was overcharged. It was about 55 bucks for this pile of clothes. The lady weighed the cart, then weighed my daughters cart and then received my cart. Never explaining what she was doing. Granted it is a deal, but it doesn’t seem like 1.80 per pound to me. Tried to find an email for them, not coming up with anything

I LOVE the bins! I found all of these items in 3 minutes, for only 3.77 ? it is in a bit of an industrial, run down area, but homeless people are humans too, so don't be rude and you'll be fine! It's a clean facility and the employees are nice. There's always at least 2 dogs inside, and while not described as dog friendly no one really cares

I used to be able to find stuff here...last two years ....not so much...and people come with their possee to team up and get the good stuff right away....the regular guy doesn't stand a chance....and last time i was here an employee insisted that i deleted the pictures on my phone....so not appropriate....thanks goodwill

If you like to, or don't mind rummaging through bins of all sorts of things from clothing to toys, and dont mind being around lots of people who are doing the same thing, this could be the place for you. They have all of the stuff that is not sold at the regular goodwill stores, including the stuff that is Over priced, so lots of bargains sold by the pound !!!
