I am writing to formally report a horrific experience I had on January 18, 2026.
During my visit, an employee harassed me, followed me throughout the store, and repeatedly argued with me. Despite my multiple requests for her to leave me alone, she continued to yell at me loudly from cash register 3 down. Most disturbingly, the manager on duty witnessed this behavior and failed to intervene or tell the employee to stop. Other staff members claimed they "didn't know what was going on" instead of helping.
I ended up returning my purchases and leaving because of this hostile environment. This is an unacceptable way to run a business. I expected a follow-up regarding how this is being handled. Steve have not called me so he must agree with this awful behavior
Also. Do not shop here if you're planning to have a peaceful shopping day.
Earlier today I discovered this place had a really welcoming, clean atmosphere that made shopping feel easy and pleasant, so why wouldn't you want to grab your groceries here.
Frozen hamburger is all thoroughly freezer burnt. There's one brand with see-thru packaging, and it's so burnt the meat is yellow. Silly me thought a different brand might be ok, but nope! Freezer burnt! Can't trust what you can't see.
Honestly, nothing else comes close to the offers,deals,rock bottom savings that you will notice here! What makes it even sweeter is staff members! EVERY CORNER IS COVERED with kindness and support.
This store is comparable to the Monroe store and Arlington but has more of a community vibe, full of more every time I go and prices right as usual and staff welcoming and helpful and ask about you, very comfortable and helpful, Love coming here!
Grocery Outlet off of MLK in Seattle in the Central District is one of The Best locations!
My daughter told me they had a variety of Mushroom Coffee so I decided to check out out.
The Store was Fully Stocked and Very Clean.
The Staff is Very Helpful and Nice.
This store has Everything you need from Body Lotions and Soaps, Vitamins and Hollistic needs. Also Toys and a variety of Home Decor. The Fall Decor is Pleasing.
I found the Mushroom Coffee and found a variety of Matcha.

Great prices, but the staff is kinda... idk judgemental? They act like I'm stealing something everything I show up and ive spent hundreds there... o well...prices are great, meat selection bucks. Staff needs some...uh... real life experience or something.
Always have pretty good luck at this store, finding a lot of treasures at a fraction of the price. Its fun digging around to see what you can find. I always call it "grocery store thrifting".
Today, (12pm, 9/19), i had a great interaction with a couple of the front end people. I didn't catch their names but they were both young men. They were very friendly and attentive, and one of the young men even thanked me and pushed my cart in for me after I had left the store. Its nice having such good service from your employees. I hope they are recognized for their job well done.
Reliable grocery values but also competent and compassionate help, whether it's finding something or getting the app to show your discount card. There's a farmers market on Fridays too.
Check your receipts. About ten percent of the items are coded to ring up at about 50% to 75% higher than what they have it marked for on the shelf. It's not a mistake, they know they are doing it - the manager admitted to it. The fine from the city is small in comparison to what they make from this scam. Funny it never rings up for less than it's marked for, since they'll claim it's a glitch or a mistake. Nobody is buying it.
Quality cheap(er) groceries. Great garden selection for cheap! Bargain Market!! Love to hear how much I've saved so I can use my savings on other necessities.
If you want to save money on your groceries, this is the best place to shop. There's a great variety plus you find some items that are harder to find anywhere else. They have a great staff, always friendly!
We typically really like shopping at grocery outlet and used to frequent the one near Northgate. We moved into the area and decided to check this one out. They had a good assortment of things but our cashier Sean was downright rude. I don’t think he said a single word to us the whole time we were checking out. He was throwing our items into the bagging area and was slamming bags of chips down. Thanks for crushing food we were about to buy. I would come back but I’d recommend not going to his checkout line.
I love this grocery outlet. I shop here regularly and will never go back to Safeway if I don’t have to. They usually have everything I need and some things I didn’t realize I needed! Plus the deals are everywhere. The employees are great and remember me every time.
You get a bang for your buck. Produce is limited. No bell peppers. The prices are great. Met a customer and when we saw each other at checkout, they paid for all my items. They stated happy Easter and it's my good deed for the day. I am truly blessed because I was down to my last.
I love this grocery outlet location! Not only are there some great deals, but the staff and the manager have always treated me well. Yesterday I left my wallet at the cash register. it would’ve been so easy for somebody to have taken it. I was so happy this morning when I returned to the store and the manager had my wallet and all my cash was still in it! Thank you!
Outstanding discount grocery store with excellent prices and very good customer service. The store was clean and well lighted on the day I visited. This store also has a decent selection of produce and plants for sale and is located by a bus stop.
I’m a little mad I didn’t find this place sooner. I’m going to become a regular. The prices of everything is so much better than Safeways and other typical supermarkets. And they have a good selection of stuff. I got a succulent plant for $4.99. There’s also a large parking space and it’s located right in front of a bus-stop. The person who checked me out was a sweet old man that seemed like such a nice genuine grandfather.
Our metal frog was stolen out of our garden and a little boy started crying so I had to find another. I called three Grocery Outlets and only one was left two hours away and he saved it for me. Their garden tools and decor are good quality and very reasonably priced, here is froggy and now he is under chains and a lock.
It is a great store to visit. The only downfall is the Seattle sugar tax. Grocery Outlet is supposed to be a store with low low prices, except things purchased with sugar. I was able to visit the one near my home and get the same 12 pack of Dr. Pepper for $4.00 less. Besides the sugar tax this store was clean, the cashier's were super friendly, and the store was pretty well stocked.
