Liz was very helpful in fitting me to my new pack. 10/10 great selection, helpful staff. Great prices.

If you look up the definition of chill, you’ll prob get a picture of lance. He walked me through different boards, showed me how to check for camber, twin, directional. Didn’t pressure me in any direction, just gave straight facts. Thanks dude!

No restrooms This place is not really kid and family friendly if they don't have public restrooms for families and kids. It is impossible to spend longer than an hour browsing if you don't have the option to use a restroom for babies or kids.

Huge selection and variety of outdoor gear. Tough to find specific items but great way to save as most prices I say where less than half of the original. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

I had a really excellent experience at Wonderland last weekend. I'm new to skiing and have only rented gear but when I asked the friendly staff at Wonderland they were able to answer all of my many questions without making me feel overwhelmed or dumb. I left with a great haul of new and used gear and notes I took about things like my sizing as well as information about different ski styles and sizes. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and gear at Wonderland. Looking forward to returning in the future.

You would think they would tell you how much they plan to sell consignment items for before doing it. Something I could have sold for at least $50, looking online, they sold for $27. I got $8. Why wouldn't I be told how much you plan to sell it for. I was told if they put it on the reduced sale I would be told and could come get it. They literally just listed all my items for $27 no matter what it was.

Really cool place to pick up some new to you, gently used gear, or turn in some old gear that somebody else could put to good use

Stuff is pretty expensive and not in great condition. And when you go to sell your stuff they give you peanuts because they price stuff based on what year it’s from not quality or condition. Don’t be a sucker, don’t shop here.

I always try to buy secondhand, so having Wonderland nearby for all of our outdoor needs is amazing. The staff members are wonderful, so helpful, and so welcoming.

Always first place we check out for gently used gear. We've purchased inflatables, skis, snow gear. All great quality. And their sample sales are great.

I ordered a few educational toys and a backpack for my daughter, and she absolutely loved them. The delivery was fast, and the quality of both the toys and bag exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be shopping here again for school supplies!

My favorite place for gear in Seattle. I always stop by and always find something to help comfort my outdoor adventures! Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Such a great store and overall experience! I am from the Colorado mountains and love my outdoor equipment ;) and this spot had a great selection of well curated clothing and gear of all kinds! Super stoked to have found it in my travels (we went back a second time!) The staff were so kind and super helpful, and I left with some great stuff that I used both in Seattle and now back home in Colorado :)

Best place for awesome deals on used gear! Winter and summer sales days are the best. I come here every now and then, just to check if they have goodies.

Liza is awesome and knows her stuff about ALL of the gear. We always find some great treasures here at great prices. Save the environment and shop used at a local establishment. Liza is the best part of the store though! She helped us pick out (and properly fit us) for climbing harnesses, chalk bags, some hydro flasks, gloves, patching for neoprene gloves. She has even suggested climbing gyms and other great areas to explore with our new gear. Our adventures have improved greatly ;) and we are definitely returning customers! Hope Liza gets treated like gold here because she is great.

This place is amazing! I got merino wool boxers, two merino wool base layers, ski poles, and a garter for just a little more than ONE new merino wooo base layer costs. Big selection too. Highly recommend!

I bought some alpine skis and boots from them recently. Can't complain about the quality for the price I paid. However, the shop worker assured me that the boots fit in the ski bindings without needing to be remounted. While he was correct that the boots could be jammed in at the maximum binding looseness, after I did some research I learned that the binding was not correctly adjusted as it was too tight to release. I am planning to remount the skis but someone who did not take the time to do their own research could have gotten them into an unsafe situation by relying on the store staff.

Be careful if you buy anything wool from here and even if they say it’s new still be careful. I bought a smart wool top with a tag still on and they had several just like it but unfortunately there were moth holes all over the back. It really shouldn’t have been still sold for the original retail price

Overall pretty good, but somewhat of a mixed bag. They have a pretty good kids selection with higher end stuff, but the prices for the soft gear overall did not feel like especially good deals, and some of the stuff was clearly worked. We thought we found a nice Patagonia jacket for my 4 y.o. daughter, but the person told us the zipper separated, which was why it was 'only' $50. They also only do returns for store credit, which made it a little tricky to buy for a kid who I did not physically have with me in the store. The staff was nice.

OK, mixed feelings about giving a poor review, but I think people deserve to know what they’re in for. Wonderland does not seem to check the clothing they are selling, or stand by it. e.g. if a zipper is partly broken on a jacket or is about to fall off — and you don’t notice that before removing their tag— too bad. It is yours. Unfortunately, this happened and now I have a jacket with a completely broken zipper, which is basically a piece of trash. I assume they have some quality control for their climbing gear or skis that they just don’t apply to their clothing. If you value a brick-and-mortar shopping experience, this is the place for you. Just read their strict return policy. Final notes- they give a sale price and a list price for items. The list prices seem inflated, not representative of real-world pricing of new items. It definitely makes it seem like you’re getting a better deal…on used and questionable gear. just not for me.

Pretty good store with some great deals for used equipment. Make sure to come in before the season or early during the season as the good stuff flies off the shelves. I wasn't able to find good skies for myself, but I did get some great socks. Could be a good idea to call in advance before showing up to check the availability for specific items, especially if you have an uncommon size for the boots / skies.

I’ve consigned items here before and I’m very happy with how quickly they sell! I like how they’re clear about what brands they accept (only brands sold at REI). My only complaint is that if they list your item under $49, they keep 60% of the selling price. I think 50% is the max amount they should keep. Regardless, this is the best place to consign your outdoor gear in Seattle! The employees are all very nice and happy to explain why they won’t take certain items.

Best place in town to find AT skiing gear with reasonable (sad, it’s quite pricy overall) price. Staffs are friendly and ready to help out. There are limited parking areas available.

Need gear? Wonderland is a great place to look before paying full retail price... especially La Sportiva G2+ Lots of great gear in stock for your next adventure! Sold my double boots here and they held the cash until I could make it back in! Then, I was able to use the cash as store credit and got a bit extra and the difference in cash! What a great place!

I’m such a huge fan of this place. Staff is super awesome. I’ve consigned a ton of stuff here and almost always find something great to help me get outdoors. FYI parking lot is tiny but just go around the corner and you’ll find stuff on neighborhood streets.

Wonderland is a warm and welcome place, and I am so grateful Seattle has this resource for our community! The gear is at a great discount and the staff are always knowledgeable and helpful when you need it. I think it's always a fun surprise to see what new gear they have so every trip feels like a little treasure hunt. Consigning gear here is simple and rewarding. Can't recommend this place and the wonderful staff enough. If you haven't yet, go check it out ASAP!

On a trip from Florida we happened to be taken to Wonderland Gear Exchange and were fortunate to be there when they were having a blowout sale. It was so very well organized, the gear, the lines for people during vaccinated Covid, people wearing their masks. All in all a truly great experience and super finds!

This place is great for second hand outdoor goods. The service was prompt and they followed up just when we needed some questions to be addressed. Not too pushy, just customer focused! I would recommend this store for consignment or purchasing goods at a great deal. Some of the snowboards on sale were not even used! I will probably purchase some camping stuff from this store for a wicked $ discount.

This is a fantastic place to peruse used gear ranging from backpacking and camping gear, to mountaineering, cycling, and even surfing. You can also put your own gear up for consignment. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you're looking for something particular and aren't in a hurry, this is a good place to check periodically and pick up gear at a good price.
