Lowman Beach Park in
Seattle Hill (WA)

I went at night which made it difficult to assess the park as a whole but where I walked through the park onto the beach was grassy and then our typical beach. :) and its a decent sized park I liked it... not much for parking but its prob not a huge prob idk.

First time at this park and it was lovely.

No facilities and not much adjacent parking. However, plenty of parking within a block or so. Very nice natural park with lots of kayakers and boarders launching off a stone beach. Many people chilling in the grass sunning or reading in the shade. Very neighborhood and pleasant.

Great view of the sound. Fun lounge spot with beach access and access to Lincoln park.

Quiet level scenic walkway. Watch for seals, ferries crossing while looking out at the mountains. Great beach combing. Check out the Troll near the swimming pool . Benches all along the promenade to quietly enjoy the beauty of it all. Playground with swings at South end of walk.

Great place to walk, take in the water views, and walk the dog.

Was a nice clean park. Lots of friendly people with dogs. Took my power bike and found some nice dirt trails in the area.

Seaglass Hunting went OK! Views were awesome. Very quiet place. Good for napping or reading books.

Really cute small beach! There's driftwood to sit on and a bench or two and a small bit of grass to bring pets if you wanted to. The view was incredible!

Great little park next to a beach with lots of driftwood. Has some swings and there's lots of rubbish bins so no excuse for just dropping it. The driftwood has been there some time and children obviously love it, making little dens in a couple of places. Parking is free but very limited.

I hate to give this a five star review because I don't want people outside of West Seattle to discover it. There- I spilled the beans. Ever since they took the sea wall and tennis courts out to allow for mother nature to take her course, the place has energy, organic, and it is healing.

A MUST SEE BEAUTIFUL PARK! This park has beautiful views and almost 360 degree before of water. The ferries going buy! I love taking my break here at this beach and picking up the beautiful shells and rocks. One of Seattles gorgeous beaches

Nice small neighborhood park great for relaxing in the sun and watching for seals. Has access to launch kayaks and such. No playground but lots of driftwood for kids to build with.

Beautiful walk around the sound. The trail along the water is mostly flat, and the troll is behind Coleman Pool

Beautiful little park with amazing ocean views and swings. Cute for a walk along the shore, or just to sit down and admire the sea.

Beautiful beach but only suitable for swimming if you’re about that polar plunge life. My little ones loved balancing on all the logs on the beach.

Super chill little local spot. Great to lay out in the grass, check out the rocks and driftwood, or paddle out into the sound. Parking is somewhat limited compared to Lincoln Park, but there's usually a few spots. There's swings and and forts for the kids, but no bathrooms, so keep that in mind. There's also a relatively flat pathway connecting down to Lincoln Park where you can walk along the shore out to the point. Overall, this is one of our favorite spots in West Seattle and we always bring friends and family when they visit.

Great little neighborhood spot! Parking is very, very limited, but you can walk here from the Lincoln Park waterfront trail or bike/scooter from elsewhere in W. Seattle. The park was re-designed, and there are no longer tennis courts, but much better water views and access to the water - popular put-in area for SUPs and a perfect picnic spot. There isn't much of a beach area - basically a nice grassy park and a rocky/driftwood flat area up to the water.

Lovely and peaceful park to gaze upon, tons of jasper Rocks if you are a collector. Even our family pet loved to swim and play around the beach. There’s a sign that says no dogs on the beach but I don’t think anybody really cares cause I seen other dogs and their owners on the beach too.

This pocket park features easy access to the waterfront and spectacular Puget Sound views. Only street parking is available and there are no bathrooms or picnic tables. Just two swings comprise the play area. A hand carry boat launch looks like it's designed for high tide. Perfect for a picnic if you bring your own chairs or a blanket. The dilapidated but much loved tennis court on the water is gone, but it's unclear what will replace it.

Extensive plantings along the stairway through the hillside from upper roadway down to park. Park and beach is very pleasant with full views of Puget Recently renovations have removed the old seawall and daylighted creek, leaving a much more natural and accessible beach. Peaceful and sunsets are spectacular. Lots of driftwood, vast open rocky beach when tide is at seasonal lows, and at seasonal high tides you might have the chance of seeing a seal or two swimming by. Just don't try to drive down the road past the park... dead Ends without much room to turn around. Walking access to the north end of Lincoln Park shoreline down the road.

It's great to go with your love ones and relax till it hits sunset. Very beautiful place. Get there as fast as you can because the parking sucks.

It's a little Park with beach access close by. I biked there, but even I noticed that there seemed to be very little vehicle parking, just FYI.

This is a awesome park hidden and tucked away with a tennis court playground and places to rest and relax and have a picnic! I just fell in love with the beautiful oak trees and I bet when they bloom it’s just a huge shade tree and the limbs are huge snd it’s just like a tree of life and the only thing is parking is a little rough and the street is tiny with little parking so get there early and watch out turning around it can get a little Harry and tight and it was windy and it was maybe 55’ out and with the wind felt like 35 so bundle up till it’s hot!! But I loved this place and so will you!!

Lowman Beach is my favorite West Seattle Park. It has no bathrooms, an old cement tennis court, a broken down seawall and an absolutely glorious view.

I was visiting a friend and wanted to take her dogs for a walk. This pocket beach was the perfect location. Beautiful driftwood, a park/playground, and a lovely, rocky beach for them to splash around on.
