Earlier today I stopped by and found a solid selection of tools and supplies, everything I needed was there and prices seemed fair.

Excellent example of do-it-yourself type home repairs , also make one realize what prices are fair Or inflated

Best customer service of any hardware store, always someone knowledgeable waiting to help. Small but great neighborhood store.

Small store but got what you need ?

Gonna stick out some here and I see the irony in that I live next door, joke w/ staff and have known some people there for years- so, maybe it's a statement b/c it's a nice place. But I am part of the community, little interactions ground me like family & enough of the time and by the few- I get this cold, flat, above thou affect from check out, a smile seemingly inappropriate, let alone any charisma. Guess I am writing b'c it has happened more of late and sometimes the same staff- majority are sweet. I guess more of the later bits of negative energy & the fact that this ACE is 1$ & up higher in pricing than other ACE's- makes me feel more comfy banging around the others, even if I live next door. * Floor staff gush to help to the point you feel like you have to fight them back (they are not afraid to keep a boat load of staff on/ some knowing more than others)= something to be taken as a compliment and generally unique in local, mass-sell culture. Maple Leaf has different layers of contradiction, don't you be one.

It may not be a "big box" hardware behemoth, but this local Ace shop lives up to the brand name. Aces in service and also selection. There is always a friendly and helpful staff person nearby to guide you should you need it. And you don't even need to ring yourself up ... they do that for you. ♥️

The moment we walked into this Ace Hardware, the associates greeted us with such genuine warmth that it felt like visiting family. Any time we had a question, someone was at our side immediately, offering thoughtful, helpful guidance without ever being pushy. Their kindness and knowledge made the entire visit surprisingly delightful. This store has absolutely become my go-to.

An employee was right by the door to help customers. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Great employees, good environment. I’ve been here twice and have had the same experience.

There are few true hardware stores left and this one has everything! I love visiting this store. Last time I was there I bought a couple of portable electric heaters. Both very good products. The staff I interacted with are all terrific. Friendly and helpful. I have bought so kinds of stuff there including hot wheels little replica race cars for the Grkids. Highly recommend.

Good store, been for years, today 3 or 4 of the staff started talking trash about my Cybertruck. I confronted them and one just said it’s ugly and he wouldn’t discuss it with me why I like it. Made me feel like crap. I’ll lean towards shopping at a less judgmental hardware store moving forward.

Settled within a neighborhood, this hardware store has served the local community with the best customer service for years. Anytime I have questions or need to find a specific part I'm greeted with someone willing to help. Rather than wandering the many aisles of the warehouse type stores try this local store spot out.

Staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. On this occasion we also ran into an old friend and had a fun conversation.

Interesting assortment of building materials and household items. They cannot possibly carry the breadth and depth of a box store. However, I am sometimes surprised that they have something that HD and Lowe's do not. For example, I recently purchased a quart of pressure treated lumber end treatment and a gallon of muriatic acid. The others only have the treatment in gallons, which for me is a lifetime supply. And instead of muriatic acid, they have some kind of mysterious blend, which is more expensive and less effective. The place feels like going back in time by 40 years, and I mean that in a good way. The only negative is that some prices are higher than the competition by quite a bit.

The store was super busy (the sun came out + Father’s Day) and I only needed a few things I could find myself, except one of those things was a tiny screw. Try as I may, I finally asked for assistance. I felt bad, knowing there were customers who need bigger help than me, but the sales associate was not bothered in the least. He was quick to help and gave me a short tutorial before he moved on. Checkout was smooth and I was on my way, once again feeling good about Ace Hardware.

One of my favorite stores in maple leaf because everyone is so helpful. As soon as i walk in, someone usually asks if I need help and makes everything so much easier to find! They also provide good recommendations too.

Make a topsoil delivery. The owner John was so awesome and friendly. Unloaded my truck quickly.

This is the best hardware store in town with unparalleled service. Anytime you walk in the door you will be greeted by an employee who is eager to help you find exactly what you're looking for. With service levels across the retail industry going down it is really refreshing to find an establishment that embraces customer service.

I needed a screw to fix a window shade. Two employees helped me look through the large selection for an odd-size screw that solved the issue for only $0.17! Customer service like that is hard to find at other stores. Maple Leaf is a standout!

The Maple Leaf Ace Hardware has the best most helpful staff. From the initial warm greeting from staff, and their request to assist with finding items in the store, this is my “go to” store for the wide range of products they sell. The gentleman even loaded my purchases into my car. This service makes store shopping pleasurable, and way quicker than shopping for my long list of items on line. Plus, no returns, everything was perfect! He even changed out my Fitbit battery. Top notch service!!!! I will definitely return to this store again.

Best neighborhood hardware store anywhere, starting with the staff. Helpful, thoughtful, but not hovering. The best. Amazing depth of supplies, and the most brilliant, useful adhesive/caulk illustrative display on earth. Skip the orange a blue big guys, Ace is the Place with immediate, knowledgeable and friendly customer service. And this specific one gets the Blue ribbon.

Ace Hardware’s motto is “the helpful place” and that hasn’t been my experience the handful of times I’ve been in. I live a block away and I’d rather drive to Home Depot or Lowe’s. Two stars for their selection and range in items but customer service is poor. I was always given weird looks when asking for something or having a question. I second all the reviews of being made uncomfortable.

They have glaziers tape. I thought home depot would have it, and they didn't. a good selection of items, helpful people. convenient location. Just wish they were open longer hours. They give good advice, like make sure the frost free hydrant is angled properly.

Super helpful staff. That has always been the case throughout the years. I usually go to other big box stores because of selection and hours, but I'm always blown away by how great the staff is at this location. Kudos to the manager/owner/staff for creating a great neighborhood resource.

Can't say enough about this place. My partner and I recently purchased a home in Greenlake and this is our new local hardware store. Whenever you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly face asking if they can help you find anything. I even had a one off dishwasher issue that I walked in and described and the staff was able to point me exactly to what I needed. Do you know how many trips I'd have to take to the hardware store normally with a project?! It's because I'm not an expert. These people are and help you think through problems you didn't even realize were coming down the pike. Aside from that, lines are short, staff are friendly and more than helpful, I really can't say enough. Very happy to have them in our neighborhood. If you haven't, you should go check them out! Always nice to support a small business (Each Ace is locally owned) rather than one of the huge stores.

Friendly and helpful, the Maple Leaf Ace can guide you through whatever home project you're working on. They carry the usual hardware store items in addition to kitchen and cleaning stuff. A highlight during the cold weather, they stock Home Fire Logs that are made in Western Washington. These are the best for your home fireplace or wood stove; they burn hot and retain their shape.

I've been coming here for over twenty years. How many stores can you say that the experience and service is better now than ever? Not many, I reckon, but true for this store. The minute you walk in, you're greeted and directed, if you came for specific items, that's a huge help. I often end up getting what I need quickly, then browse a bit because they have plenty to discover on their shelves. The staff here are knowledgeable too, and can find someone to help problem solve most any issue. Thanks Maple Leaf crew!

The woman who manages the painting section knows more about paint than I know about anything. She is insanely knowledgeable, super kind, and genuinely interested in making sure your project goes well.
