Overall the employees & environment is very comfortable

Good and fast service with an appointment. It was easy and the place was very clean. Good snacks and drinks after donation. Make sure you hydrate a lot. It took about 30 minutes to donate and 15+ minutes to check in etc...

I was super excited to donate blood. I’ve been doing it for years and hadn’t found a place to do it in Philly. It’s not just good for the recipients, but it’s good for the donor, too. Coming here to donate blood ruined my afternoon. It was my first time, so I don’t know the protocol at this facility. I caught my phlebotomist roll his eyes TWICE: 1) at the beginning, because I had to find a place to put my jacket down (there’s nothing near the station to hang or stow a coat), 2) at the end, because I tapped the medical tape on my arm (it was sticking up and he was grabbing something else). After the first time, I apologized earnestly: “I’m sorry if I did something to irritate you.” To which he smirked and replied “Naw, you’re good.” The second time he pretended to yawn when he saw that I’d caught his eye-roll again. I decided it’s not me, it’s him. He didn’t need to be kind or nice, he just needed to *not* be actively unprofessional and rude. Blood donors are in a vulnerable seat. They’re about to be stick poked with a semi-invasive procedure and it can be intimidating when you don’t have familiarity with the team or the facilities. Just be professional and patient as they get situated. I did observe one phlebotomist who seemed very patient and helpful, and I’m bummed she wasn’t mine. She seemed to be kindly assisting her colleagues and the donors that walked in. Hire more people like her. ——— Also, there’s no parking for donors and no safe drop off area. The parking lot says it’s restricted and you seem to need a badge. I just got in and out of the car in the street when the moving traffic cleared.

I had a very negative experience donating platelets at 700 Spring Garden. I was left unattended, cold, and bruised days later. The majority of staff is very rude and unhelpful. I do not recommend going here!

I came for blood donation. Employees are rude. I tried to schedule the next appointment since I couldn't do it online, but they asked me to go back home and try again. When I donated, I didn't see the nurse changing the needle, not sure if she prepared it before or not, but if something happens, I am sewing this place

Blood donation went well. The phlebotomist injected perfectly. Looks like it’s already almost healed the night of. I get annoyed when I’m bruised and trying to work out the next day so really happy this time. I hope they hold more drives here.

The most disorganized blood drive I’ve ever been to. I’ve donated blood here 5 times and each time the drive is running at least 30 minutes behind, one time over an hour and a half late. The staff at the drive are also generally unfriendly and lack any real bedside manner. The volunteers are wonderful but can’t do much to make the drive move faster. I want to continue donating, but the Red Cross makes it really difficult to keep up with this.

I HAD FIRST AID/CPR INSTRUCTOR TRANING THERE AND, I REALLY ENJOYED IT THIS TIME.

I have an excellent experience in training CPR instructor course with Sunil! He is the best instructor and teacher I have ever known! It was very helpful and informative course! Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with us!

Came here for Cpr/AED certification which I’ve had before, but it needed renewed. This was by far the best most informative class. My instructor Sunil Chowdhari was amazing such a genuine helpful person! Definitely take the class with him

Send your money somewhere else with actual compassion. These folks keep sending mail addressed to my late father. So, I wrote to them saying my Dad had passed away and that getting his mail is just a painful memory for our family and to please stop. I got a reply saying they would stop but it went on for 3 months. So, I called, and they said they would stop. It’s now 6 + months and they never stop. So, I will go out of my way now to express my disgust in this office and organization.

This place is very rude and unprofessional. I was asking general questions and as I am speaking with someone (Kay-Volunteer) on the phone there is someone on the phone yelling for me to look up my questions on Google. I don't know if they have supervisor someone who teaches them about customer services but this was terrible. For this to be a company who serves the public they need to brush up on their people skills. I would be ashamed if these were the people representing my company and my values. I wish I rate this place a negative 5 star because that's what they deserve. I usually do not write reviews but how bad and rude this service was I had to. I only spoke to them on the phone i can only imagine how they are in person. DO BETTER!

As an organization dedicated to non-profit relief, they don't respect or help volunteers during processes. The Current Estimated National Value of Each Volunteer Hour Is $29.95. You spend your time, energy, and money without their support. Where do all the funds go? Remember guys! You are dealing with staff that takes a salary from the organization. You have nothing to lose and can go to a better organization anytime!

Here for a blood drive. Wish they allowed donors in the parking lot but otherwise no problems.

Dear Philadelphians.. my open letter..it was a very unique experience too go out with a team and visit families who were in distress..when elders and children are stranded in City like Philadelphia..it is really a disaster..and crisis..to be evicted.or put into terrible..time..I am thinking about Red cross..and humanitarium ideas. People place into overcrowded housing..and put into homelessness. Of no home or hope. I plea..that we people..must..begin mobilization..ethic..to bring human equality into fair housing relief..help our thousands of people left upon the streets. What do you think..food .clothing..and care...as storms have ravage our Cities. Cry for help.is louder. RED CROSS EMERGENCY..voice in the wilderness..

I learned alot from the course I took here. Lots has been updated since my last CPR certification. Always a good thing to be current on.

A fire put me out of my home on Saturday in the winter. There is no one answering their so called emergency number and I have no place to go. Thanks for nothing red cross!!!!!

No parking. No wifi. Friendly, professional phlebotomists and volunteers.

I volunteer indirectly for the American Red Cross through a non-profit organization that supports local blood drives. Since the pandemic began, I have volunteered hundreds of hours to help those in need. Unfortunately today, I’ve officially heard that the Red Cross will be requiring that all volunteers be vaccinated and show their vaccination card to be able to continue to volunteer. I am not an anti-vaxxer. I was vaccinated in the Spring. Unfortunately, I cannot support organizations and businesses that require you to provide proof that you are vaccinated. This is not the America I served in the military to defend. Even though I was vaccinated, I still got covid months later. The unvaccinated are not the issue here. The issue is with companies and organizations that are acting like tyrants.

Had to wait a very long time, maybe an hour, before I could even start the donation process (answering questions). Won't go here again. I go to the one at spring garden and 7th because it's much better

I renewed my BLS certification here. The instructor was absolutely incredible, and made sure we left with the knowledge we needed.

The staff was nice when I was here to donate blood.

Are all of these reviewers ESL learners or just retarded? Who knows. Also, Red Cross... Your customer service and availability is ridiculously narrow for such a money churning organization. Essentially you guys are terrible at what you do. You're trying to be too large and failing miserably at it.

For any one who is thinking abut taking the CNA Clas with this red cross. DON'T DO IT! They are liars. They will tell you one thing then turn around and tell you another one just to take your money. You will have to go through hell to get only part of your money back. This is the worst experience I had with any institutions .They should be investigated by the BBB.

I was going to take the nurse's aide class but ended up not being able to so I requested a refund. 5 months later I still haven't received a refund and the woman who told me I would get it hasn't answered the phone or emails in 4 months. So unprofessional and ghetto. I could do their job better then them and I'm not even trained to do it. If you can go somewhere else, please do!

This American Red Cross is ghetto carry on organized and your staff has no people skills whatsoever never my life will I ever go there for any type of services!! soon
