This gentleman removed the screws from my valve cover and only put in the two long ones upside down. When he was called out on it, he told a "Trump" and said they were already missing. The spark plugs weren't gauged either. The car began misfiring right after this visit.
I took a roadtrip from pittsburgh to philly & had got my brakes done before leaving by a family member. after an attempt to go out and see what philly has to offer, my car started to make a clunking noise. i called for a tow & found out it would be 2 hours. i walked to this auto shop to see if they could help me & one of the gentleman, walked with me to get my car & drove down to the shop because i didn’t feel comfortable. after getting here, we found out my break pads weren’t screwed on properly. they fixed it & even told me where the best cheesesteak is. i will definitely be back if i’m in town again!
Best shop around Philadelphia area. They fix all makes america & foreign new & old.Been going there for 20 years. Mr Eric best hands down Old school mechanic. Am car collector they fix up all of them. An the Auto Body shop man can paint the best in ever. Check it one stop shop.
The trickery of this place. Promises, fast talking...no integrity. I was completely slighted by these people. I left here feeling completely duped and my vehicle is still not fixed.
I went there for a service on my BMW. Now I need a new engine. I didn’t go there with this problem. This is ridiculous. I had a idle problem and needed an oil change. Eric kept insisting on doing his special flush job. Whatever he did, messed my car up. It doesn’t pay to trust a friend. I went on vacation to come back to this. He told me over the phone that my vehicle was fixed and running like a brand new car. When I started it up, it sounded like a pickup truck with new tail pipes.
Something drastic has changed at Woodbine automotive. Quality is gone and prices are high. $150 to change out headlight bulbs and more recently Eric held onto my mini for two months and got the work done wrong. Sent it in with a clutch that was slipping and a noise from the passenger front suspension. Got it back with a shifter that won't shift and the noise is still in the suspension. Enough is enough. My suggestion is if you have to take it there be careful. My car is going elsewhere for now on.

What I know about car business is that it can be tricky and hard, I've been gouged out of major $$ before messing around with some of these shops .
Some reviews are talking about the small things like oil change or emission.
But my wife go there for the big things: Starter, transmission work, body work, axel, ABS Brake, Engine (these are some of the things we had fixed at Woodbine) The diagnosis is on point (before I let my wife go in, I usually take her car to dealership for free diagnostic print out, so I know what is wrong)
Point is the work is quality. If you are expecting street mechanic prices...this is not the place. Their prices are comparable to other shops, they get the diagnostics right and they are much cheaper than dealership.
Do NOT go here. Terrible service. I paid over $140 for an oil change that took a full hour -- 3x longer than they said. When I asked why I was paying $96 for 3.5 qts of oil that is $40 or less for 5 qts online, I was assured that it's because EVIL CONGLOMERATES LIKE WALMART can undersell, but MOM AND POP STORES like them have to charge the full price! If I go to Autozone, this is the price I'll see! Only the Autozone website lists the local prices as $35... I was late to work already and too uncomfortable to argue with them so I just paid and left, but next time I'll go to some evil conglomerate with standardized low pricing so that mom and pop don't rip me off. I asked for the $5 off an oil change coupon I saw on their website, and they assured me they would put it on my bill, but they didn't even do that. DO NOT GO HERE unless you are prepared for a huge bill and fighting for every penny.
But what else can you expect from a place with not one but TWO signs up on their office door joking about how trust and kindness are for idiots?
I've used Woodbine Auto a few times over the past two years for various jobs. I was referred by a co-worker who knew the owner well, so I was a little sceptical at first, but then pleasantly surprised after my first interaction. The girls who help manage the shop are amazing! They are always friendly and knowledgable and genuinely care about the quality of service they provide. I've tried using other mechanics closer to home but the service just does not compare...DEFINITELY worth the drive!! Keep up the good work!
