This was the most worst experience I’ve ever had in the U.S. I went to AutoZone to buy a battery, and when I asked the employee for a “battery,” he pretended not to understand me because of my accent. Then he made fun of the way I spoke and laughed about it with his coworkers.
What makes this even more ridiculous is that I speak three languages, including his. So honestly, he should be laughing at himself, not at someone who clearly speaks more languages than he does.
This behavior was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially because of their accent. The whole situation left me feeling very uncomfortable and disappointed.
My partner and I stopped in over a month ago needing quick help concealing a piece of the engine cover before trading in my car. We’d planned to use zip ties, but when we asked Abigail for assistance since we’re both disabled, she suggested returning them and offered to cut the hanging piece instead. After refunding the zip ties, Abigail spent nearly 20 minutes working under the hood to make sure nothing was visible. I was amazed by her dedication and genuine service—she even refused a tip!
I stopped in for help getting a new battery in my car key fob. The sales associate was extremely helpful and professional, AND he showed me how to do it (last time I needed one I went somewhere else, and they took my key fob to a back room to do it and give it back like it was a secret).
The store is pretty kept up, it’s just the customer service can be a lot better, also the pickup for online orders are horrible. It must not be monitored because the workers never even know u placed an order after hrs have passed waiting for the ready to pickup notification.

I originally went to the Roxborough store and they were pretty much useless. I asked where something was and the guy pointed. I had to figure out what I needed on my own, which turned out to be wrong. So I decided to go to the W Chelton Ave store and the man went out of his way to help me. I wish I had gotten his name.
Hakeem and his parts sales manager took EXCELLENT care of me and my car. Their service was exceptional, they pointed me in the right direction to get my car fixed. They gave me an excellent battery and allowed me to recycle it, helped to put my brake light in and now my car drives superbly. Thank you both again!
The service was decent and the store was relatively clean. The distressing part was the music being played that had vulgarities and racial slurs constantly.
I won’t go to a business that plays that.

I felt like I didn't want to be service. The guy yelled from behind the counter from somewhere in the store. But I did find what I was looking for won't be going back there. If possible other locations are better with service
There were several people working the counter. Wait time was moderate. Because the attendants also service the cars, this is not a less than five minutes run in and run out shop deal. To their credit there were long waits. Great job and they seemed to be well stocked.
Diana is very professional and I see how her presence is reflected in her staff ! I have NEVER been disappointed by the service at this location. They all deserve a bonus...they hustle ! Thank you for the military discount, I truly appreciate the kindness and thank you from staff for my military service !
Diana was AMAZING her customer service was everything! I went there to get my battery charged and while waiting she was attentive with the everyone in the store while serving who was in front of her. She was on point and knowledgeable.
So this location wasn't the closest to me but I chose to come here after speaking to one of the employees on the phone. When I arrived I was greeted by Diana who ended up making this experience something that I won't forget. Her level of customer service was absolutely insane. I work in customer service and customer satisfaction is always number 1 to me and the company that I work for. Diana went above and beyond everything that I was expecting. Definitely would recommend this AutoZone for all of your automotive needs. Diana definitely needs to be recognized for the role that she plays at this location seriously!
went to this place to get a battery for my lawnmower. i show them the battery and they say they have no way of looking it up and they don’t know how to tell which i need but i can look through the ones on the shelf. these small batteries are boxed and they probably had 10-12 different ones. i opened two and neither looked even close. rather than spend my afternoon looking through these boxes i just left and went down the street to advance auto. the person behind the counter there immediately took the battery walk to the shelf and pointed at my choices. to beat all this battery was $47 vs $109-$147 at autozone. so not only will you get poor service you will pay more. i knew there was a reason i quit going there.

I had an excellent experience at this AutoZone store 5294. Diana helped me change my license plate. She is the epitome of good customer service. Diana was kind, funny, and most importantly very knowledgeable. I could sit and talk cars with this woman for hours. Well done Diana! You deserve recognition for a job well done.
I came in with brakes I left out with a Turkey sandwich! I was able to get new brakes and a warm extra mayo sandwich! Dianna was very helpful with her sandwich giving self. Also the general manager is very cute and short I just want to put him in my pocket and jog on 3rd street and watch him bounce in my pocket.
Diana and Rick are amazing. I walked in with zero clue on my brake lights and they were able to set me up with a mechanic and Diana replaced my bulbs in the rain. Love it! Great service.
Diana went above and beyond to help my boyfriend and I get the items we needed for our cars. She is obviously extremely knowledgeable on vehicle specifics and the return/exchange policies for auto zone. Definitely one of the main reasons why we keep returning. We couldn’t be happier with the level of service we received!
Excellent customer service! One of the mangers Diana went above and beyond for me. I was very stressed about my car. I brought it as is and only drove it for 3 weeks before it klonked out. After coming out of pocket for a new alternator, my car still wouldn’t start! I brought my battery to be charged and found out my battery was bad. I was devastated both emotionally and financially. Diana made several calls for me. She made me feel at ease. Diana made sure I got exactly what I needed and treated me like family instead of a customer. I left with exactly what I needed as a price I could afford! She even put the battery in for me. This all took under 30 minutes. I’m still thanking God! Seriously the best experience I’ve had from any store ever. 10/10 Diana if you see this, thank you so much! I wish you all the best in the world!
I was told on Saturday 1/25, that my car battery was weak. Then a few minutes later I was told that the machine wasn't working properly. Consequently, they would test/charge the battery inside. After waiting 15 minutes I told them I couldn't wait any longer and would return the next day. The next day upon entering the store the lazy girl with attitude at the desk informed me that they don't charge/ test batteries inside. I found that strange given what I was told yesterday. So I just said, "Fine, just give me a new battery." The young guy says," We might not have the tools to remove the battery." Unbelievable. Finally, got it done. Next time I'll just have Doc McStuffins check out my car before ever going back to AutoZone,!
