I had an car accident on Sunday night. Steve showed up so fast and kept me calm during the whole experience. He was such a God sent. Thank you so much for everything Steve! You made a horrible experience into a positive one. Thank you for being so kind. That truly goes a long day when your whole world goes upside down.

My car was towed to their lot after an accident on Saturday. By Tuesday, my insurance company had picked up the vehicle, which was declared totaled. When I went to retrieve my belongings, several items were missing—including a portable air pump, charging cords for a jumper box, and unopened Amazon packages that were inside the car. It’s standard procedure to inventory the contents of a vehicle once it arrives at a tow lot. However, the insurance company’s lot had no record of any of these items, which raises serious concerns. Either the tow lot or the insurance company’s lot mishandled the inventory—or someone took the items. Unfortunately, I have too many other things going on to pursue this further, but I wanted to share this as a warning: never let your car leave with anything valuable inside. Once it’s out of your hands, those items may be gone for good.

Recommend to all. High Class company that doe a First Rate job, from beginning to end. They take care of all your needs. Don't hesitate to call Handcraft Towing if your in a jam!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. The driver that was on the night of my mom’s accident might have saved her life. She was left in her car with no interaction from police or EMS until they showed up. The tow company not only found my mom alone in her car neglected, but they transported her to receive medical care after the police failed to do so. We will be returning customers for any other needs we may have in the future. They went above and beyond and we couldn’t be more thankful.

I am very highly disappointed to see this review by Nick DeSimone, not only is this a lie but it is a complete disrespect to the company and owner himself. The owner of handcraft towing has been nothing but helpful to every and any customer he comes across along with his workers. Communication and giving a clear explanation of everything is handcrafts biggest priority. Nick DeSimone is well know and notorious for leaving bad reviews, as shown in screenshots. It’s sad that a grown man takes time out of his day to leave reviews and try to ruin multiple businesses.

Got hit and the other driver ran. Handcraft Towing boss shows up out of nowhere. The truck wreaked of weed. Guy was nice enough but essentially got the the police to tell him to out my car on his truck so they could “see it” and then refused to leave my car where i wanted it and refused to take my car to my auto shop of choice. Basically stole my car under coercion and duress. I can the next morning at 9am and they told me i had to wait until noon and then 2pm and then they charged $1200, but didn’t tell me they only accept cash until i was in the office. The boss sounds meaner when his truck doesn’t smell like weed. I heard him cursing at other customers and lying to his own staff. Hopefully I’ll never have to deal with this company again. They’re just crooks like other predatory towing companies

These guys are the best at what they do and really care about helping people, most tow guys get a bad name. At my worst time being in a car crash Tony handled everything the other driver didn’t want to give me his info but he took over and got everyone to exchange info, after my car was taken to his place of Business I didn’t need to do anything but call my ins company. My car was taken to a body shop they know and trust and came out perfect. I believe in reviews and when a Business goes out of their way after the fact It speaks volume.

Had an accident two days before Christmas. In over 30 years of driving it was my first. Tony pulled up and literally took care of everything. He told myself and the other driver exactly what to do and expect. He towed me car to the district first so we could make a report more easily instead of waiting for a police officer. He made it very easy to have my car inspected by the insurance company. And, above all that, he was SO kind and patient. If you need a tow, this is the place to call.

My mom got into a terrible accident where she was taken to the hospital and I was left to make all the decisions about the car, Tony was out there within minutes and was guiding me through each step. He saw I was flustered and he helped me take pictures of everything we would need for later. He also offered the opportunity to come get everything from the car that we couldn’t initially . He was in direct contact and answered and responded to all forms of communication! He informed me of the process and following steps after the accident. I absolutely recommend this company in a time of devastation and stress to properly guide you!!

WORST TOWING COMPANY!!!!! They took my car from the accident and took their time to make more money!!!! They told me buy the phone that they will hold my car as much is they want!!!! Handcraft towed my car after I was in an accident on 95. They did more then just tow my car, this company actually cares about people. Handcraft ensured we were not lost in the insurance process and that we got everything entitled to us. The company was professional, courteous, friendly, and extremely down to earth. I would recommend handcraft to absolutely anyone needing towing services.

The only tow company to answer my phone call and help me when I was stranded on i95 right before a big storm. Very reasonably priced- did not try to extort me in my desperation to be home and out of the cold. Hope I never need their services again but I will call them if I do.

I live in Delaware and had an accident while in Philadelphia. I am so thankful that HandCraft Towing and Recovery responded to the accident scene, as they were professional, as well as compassionate. The driver explained to me the different accident response process in Philadelphia and what I needed to do as a result. He gave me his business card and told me to call if I had any further questions. Additionally, he gave me and my son a ride back to Delaware and (this is incredible) wouldn't allow me to pay him for his extra time and service. This was NOT your usual tow and drop service . He told me "we are a company that takes care of our customers". Wow, over and above, top notch service.

I met Mr. Tony on Saturday and he provided good services for towing my vehicle. What I like about his service was the honesty. He also further assisted me with buying another car. I HIGHLY recommend HandCraft Towing for all drivers in Philadelphia.

Thank you Bill the driver! My son was stranded in a very congested location after a recent mva. Bill took care of business, he towed our totaled car safely in storage until our insurance company was able to get there for their inspection and until we were able to return and empty it out. The service did not stop here!!! There are limited places to rent a car late on a Saturday. It was confirmed with Enterprise rental at the phila airport that they had a vehicle my son would be able to rent so Bill the tow driver took my son there and went on his way. They were unable to rent the vehicle to my son didn’t have his credit card with him. Per policy they must have the physical card to process the transaction to prevent fraud. I made it clear to Enterprise that my son was 50 miles from home and was just in a collision.The extent of the help received was the manger citing policy and handing my son a sheet of paper with a list of car rental phone numbers on it that he could call himself. I called HandCraft Towing & Recovery back to see if they might be able to help. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I managed to get Tony on the phone (the owner I believe) who may have even been away on vacation. Tony got the tow driver Bill to quickly call me. Bill assured me that he would see that my son got home even if he had to drive him the 50 miles himself. In the end Bill ordered my son an Uber from Phila airport and even paid for the lift. I nor my son have Uber so we didn’t even think of it. Bill and Tony were in touch by telephone or texts with updates so that I knew what was going on and when my son made it home. Our insurance company was also impressed with the tow companies professionalism and service. Handcraft was able to do a video or FaceTime type call so that our insurance company could get a quick visual of our vehicle as it sat safely in their storage until they were able to make an on-site inspection. It makes makes zero sense to not lend a hand when it’s needed on a personal or professional level. I respect and understand policy and the need for it but I also understand that there are ways of working together while respecting it. As a health care worker I was especially sad that the Enterprise manager could not see beyond the policy - she could not see the human side this and she clearly did not understood or consider what could have gone wrong. There is always a way!!! WE MUST USE COMMON SENSE and apply our moral compass and lead by example, as Tony and Bill at Handcraft Towing both did. We foster a pleasant and healthy way of being and a much more pleasant work environment when we do this. There are countless positive ripple effects when leading this way individually and collectively as a community, a society and professionally as a business. The innate drive to do what’s right clearly demonstrated by Bill and Tony at Handcraft Towing is what I believe will continue to lead them to be prosperous both professionally and personally. I like to be optimistic. I will think that just perhaps the manager at Enterprise was not having her best day. If by some chance she reads this she might reflect upon how things could have worked out differently. We did get a rental car 2 days later on a weekday but we did not get it from Enterprise. Thank you Handcraft Towing & Recovery for leading by example and with compassion. Thanks for simply being good people and for fostering this attitude and for doing what feels right !!
