Someone needs to have a serious conversation with Ronald and his etiquette with the public. The last few weeks I have gone and gotten nothing but a bad attitude. You can't pull up in front to show them what you got, cause he will just yell at you that you can't block the driveway, so then you end up walking your material from the corner and they yell at you to get a bin. And then if you dare defend yourself, he just starts to threaten you that he won't buy your material. This place just needs to shut down or find new owners.
First time going there... gentleman on duty was far less than cordial, barking orders at me as to what to do and where things go. Not cool. Of course it's not about being cool but a little less gruff and a little more normal direction would be very helpful.
Customer service is terrible. They are miserable. And if you park out front anywhere even where there is no sign saying u can’t park there they will have your car illegally towed by some officer they know. And that officer will right you a ticket for blocking a driveway even if your were not. Annndddd since it’s illegal and they know you didn’t block them they write the ticket for a completely different address somewhere in the area mine was somewhere on tioga with no driveways to block. It’s insane. The man the runs it needs to get loading area permits but refuses to. Instead causes people to have to pay $225 towing fines + fake ticket fines. I can’t stand this business. It’s shady. And he’s a crooked business owner.
Excellent choice I think one of the best scrap yards around always quick always Pleasant there is a main guy that runs the scale his name is Ed he will help you out give you information if you need it I was about to leave my light iron because they did not take that but he directed me to their other building it's only one block away he encouraged me to take my metal there so I could make the maximum profit so I just want to thank Ed and let everybody know he's a wonderful guy
They have the option of weighing your scrap on a small scale rather than a truck scale, making it easy to ride a bike or take other means of transportation to recycle. Very useful, and many other scrap yards don't offer that option!
was doing a handyman job in the city had some left over copper pipe, and some steel bx wire, this place was in the area of where I was working. Guys were fast and accurate, I was weighed up and cashed out and back on 95 in no time. Totally being my material drop off spot from now on they even caught a couple pounds of clean #1 pipe that I threw into the bucket of #2 and paid me a bit extra even when I told them it didn't matter.
Time is money ! I was in and out in 5min worker took care of my scrap and I was on my way in no time !!! Street drop off rocks ! No more nails in my tires from dirty yard ... Word !
