Best BMW maintenance, performance, and repair shop in the Philly area. Much more affordable compared to the dealership. Idk how many times I’ve gotten a quote from the dealer and VAC comes back several hundreds if not half under the dealer quote.

Charged credit card fees? How else are we supposed to pay for online orders? You guys just lost my business.

They were able to fix my bmw 128i - John helped me a lot of setting up the appointment and allowing me to bring my parts as well. The process was smooth and amazing. Frank was able to go above and beyond to my struts, springs, and other components fixed. They went above and beyond and helped fixed other components in the vehicle that I was going to do which shows the best shop and mechanic for BMWs. They are very knowledgeable and explain everything. My 2018 BMW X5 was handled with utmost care. I used the night dropbox, and it was securely locked. I highly recommend this mechanic shop. The staff is professional and friendly, and they offer great prices that are significantly lower than those at the dealership.

I had a technical question on converting my OBD2 BMW over to OBD1 for an engine swap. The office manager, Veronica, understood my question and got me over to Tony Salloum, the owner. He was able to answer my question quickly and made several suggestions I hadn't considered. This only took a few minutes. He was completely upfront and honest that he enjoyed helping people with simple questions free of charge. He correctly said that extensive discussions were welcome but then would be done on a fee basis. As a former business owner of 32 years in a technical field, I completely agree with his approach. We both learned our respective knowledge base through hard work and many years. I know I can work with him in the future on an as needed basis. I find too many people are unwilling or unable to help with tricky situations. This is not the case at VAC Motorsports! Thanks.

I can’t say enough good things about VAC Motorsports. I had my car inspected, oil changed and new wiper blade inserts installed. Dropped my car off in the morning and picked it up that evening! Last year I was referred to their shop because my 15 year old BMW 3 series was sick. After assessment and installing new parts (spark plugs, coils, etc) it was running again. 3 hours later, my car wouldn’t start again so it went back to the shop. This time it was there for a while, it needed a new fuel tank. John and Richie (and others behind the scene at VAC Motorsports) worked with the dealership and had my car towed there for a new gas tank. The fuel system was covered under a federal law and installed free of charge. I’ve had no issues since then (phew). I will always use VAC Motorsports for my maintenance needs as long as I have this car because they’re honest, do great work and know how to work well with their partners in the auto industry (BMW dealership). I had a great first experience here! I am a newer BMW owner and happy to find a shop that specializes in them. The appointment scheduling was easy, the team was clear about pricing and timing and I felt positive about the whole experience. Very happy to have found this team and their expertise.

So happy to have found VAC Motorsports. Went in for coolant issue. From first phone call all the way through pickup, these guys were thorough, honest, and just good people. Easily best mechanic experience to date. The repair was quick and price reasonable compared to other independent shops. Richie is so knowledgeable on all things BMW and was thorough in sending me updates on the repair and what my car needs for the future. Will 100% be going back here for all future car repairs, maintenance, and just general car consulting.

I had a very pleasant experience with VAC. I was in search of high lift schrick cams for my N54 build. I ordered from 2 other places that showed in stock, but weren’t and weren’t going to be anytime soon which wasn’t communicated at all by those sellers. On the third try I went with VAC, they had the cams in stock. They called to confirm they had it in stock and that the specs were correct. The lady from customer service literally walked the package to the shipping department and shipped it that same day (Tuesday) received the package Thursday morning. I’m a big fan of supporting businesses that treat me like my business matters to them, would definitely order from them again in the future.

12 weeks and one day ago, I spoke with a sale associate to confirm the data for the order and verbally confirmed the order for a set of pistons for an M10. I called today and asked about the it and they informed that I didn’t reply to an email to confirm the order. I believed that was the purpose of the call. Guess not. The associate wouldn’t let me finish a sentence during the conversation and pretty much admitted that this was my fault. Now I’m another 12 weeks out. Hopefully this is not standard practice for these guys. My advice is to follow up your orders.

John and Richie are top notch at VAC Motorsport. First off they know what they are doing and I trust them with my car. They are also very transparent about the work and the pricing. Easy communication and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My entire VAC experience was a dream. Technician (Richie) was simply outstanding!! Super professional and knowledgeable. He literally saved my 2003 330ci from the junkyard. Dealer’s service department quoted $5K to “repair”…VAC did it for just over $500. Couldn’t be happier:)

These folks know BMW. I called in to try to get an idea of what was wrong with my ride. After trying message boards, people and companies all saying I needed a new engine, rings are bad if burning oil but no oil on the driveway but I was advised by a friend to get a second opinion. These folks diagnosed the problem over the phone then confirmed when I brought it in. They also, hopefully 🤞🏼 solved the audio/computer issue I'm having that I've been kinda throwing money at with no resolve. So far they've been great and their pricing fair. I also happen to like them as people too! Can't always say that for the gas station outfit.

Wow!! What a difference! Ordered the VAC Monoball control arm upgrade and I can’t believe the difference! Car is much more planted settled during high speed turns. Placed my order from Canada and received my package within 5 business days! Very very happy with my purchase!

I recently brought my E39 touring to VAC for a pretty involved repair. The rear floor pan had rotted out. They had to repair the floor , rocker panel , jack point, cross member, etc. I also had them replace my hood and some other miscellaneous work while it was there. I feel that they did a very good job with a very tough repair. I appreciated their can do attitude and passion for these cars. I will definitely use again in the future

Before my car damaged by the pothole, I never know how close the VAC is from my apartment. John is super nice and willing to show me around. After seeing how those parts were manufactured, I am pretty confident they will take care of my car. Although the price is a bit out of my expectation, I am pretty sure they will be the first choice if your BMW experienced any problem with the its major components (engine, trans, diff, VANOS, rod bearing, crank hub, etc.) Even your car has no problem, I still think it's a great opportunity to see their lot if you are not too far away. Lots of BMW, and lots of vintage car that can still shine in the future.

December 6 2021: I have been an automotive Enthusiast for as long as I can remember. I own a social media and automotive technology company and I am always working with different shops on builds and business. I am a die hard BMW Enthusiast and I have a E46 M3 as well as a E92 335i that I purchased as a track car. It was purchased from the original owner with only 30k miles and the original owner pretty much bought and did everything you could do to this car but never finished the project and just sat in his garage for 6 months. I purchased the car to finish and get her on the track for 2022. I did a lot of research for the right business to take care of my car as I am meticulous about who works on my cars. I spoke with a lot of friends and other BMW enthusiasts in my circle and consensus was take it to VAC Motorsports. I have yet to drop the car off but you can just tell by the service and conversation over the phone that this place is the real deal. I spoke with John personally and can say I think I'm in the right hands looking over my car. I am excited to get this 335i back on the road where she belongs and ultimately burning rubber on the track. Every experience I have had with VAC has been excellent. Great diagnosticians and technicians always keep my BMW in tip top shape. Dealing with VAC is such a better experience than the dealer where I always feel like they are trying to get me on things I don't need and overcharge me on things I do need.

hyaan is the man. has helped me on several engine builds and every time the parts were spot on. the latest s62 supercharger motor build was a pain but with hyaan's help it went great. top notch service and the machine work is flawless. look forward to the next build. thanks.

I've been with VAC for about half a year now. Even though current pandemic situation affected their business hard they did not lower their standards of service and commitment to their customers. Last time I did an insurance claim and some suspension work on my pre-LCI E90 335i and let me tell you that with limited personnel and being overwhelmed they took time to address most of my concerns with my car, did great job on fixing the body on my car and provided a lot of feedback. Separate shout-out to John who dealt with me directly and worked to find proper solution to the issues I had with a car. The wait times for service were somewhat high but it is understandable with how overwhelmed the place got in the past month and partially it was due to insurance company taking its time with the claim. Bottom line it is the best independent shop in Philadelphia and I will continue to collaborate with them on heavy line maintenance on my car and any possible internal upgrades I have planned in the future.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Scheduled a month or so ahead for bearings/studs/ the works for my New (to me) E92 M3. Ended up adding some parts for install before the date and they also helped me fix some exhaust install issues I had experienced as well! They went above and beyond to help and I had nothing but an extremely pleasurable experience. John was a breeze to work with. Very personable and made me feel at ease with all things that needed to be done. Richie and Matt (I believe was his name) were great as well. The diffuser install was WAY better than expected as it needed to be modified for fitment. Car drives like its new and was willing to get the exhaust set up 100% before he would let me take the car. Dedicated to ensuring I was leaving with the car the way I wanted it to be! Being a little over an hour away from where I live, the trip and time spent were absolutely worth it. I cannot recommend them enough!

It was my first time there. This place was highly recommended, and I assure you that you wont be disappointed. My car was checked out at 2 different mechanic shops. None of the mechanics could figure out the problem, but at VAC Motorsports, they were very meticulous check the problem, were very courteous, and were within reason with pricing with the repairs. Secondly, while the mechanic work was being done, they recommended to change out some other parts since the entire engine compartment was taken part ... and at that time they swiftly handle the job at hand.
