The owner was super friendly and helpful on getting a motor for my family's Prius. Drove to his shop 8 hours away based on word of mouth from other customers. I haven't gotten it installed yet so if it works as it should I'll update to 5 stars. Thus far I would recommend his shop to anyone needing to replace their cars engine. He has tons of makes and models. He also offers warranties on the engines too. Overall great experience.
I had 08 tsx found that he had a bunch of jdm parts. He’s a great guy with really good prices and quality parts. If u walk in the shop you’ll see how organized and clean he is. Highly suggest you go check him out if your looking quality jdm parts. Definitely coming back once I blow up my motor!!
I went recently to pick up an engine from this location and I will say the communication was perfect and the service was outstanding! They helped put it onto my truck and insured everything was perfect before I left! The engine is perfect and running like brand new!!!
Bought a b20b engine from this company, easy pick up. Unfortunately the motor I was sold only lasted 45 days. Won’t replace or offer a partial refund due to it being 15 days after the warranty expired.
I received a good engine for a fair price. I replaced the VQ35de in my G35 6mt coupe that had sat for 2 years, unable to pass inspection due to some internal engine issue. 1. Use your own motor mount brackets and alternator bracket. (JDM was different in my case.) 2. Choose the best of your intake components and exhaust manifolds and replace the associated gaskets. (I am assuming you are replacing an existing, complete engine.) 3. Replace valve covers. 4. Do anything else needed that is easier with the engine out – pilot bearing, clutch release bearing and slide, Rack and pinion? Clutch slave cylinder? Power steering lines? etc. This was my first engine swap and went about as expected. I think it took two days of actual installation before the first start and some additional days and hours reassembling the front end and such. Once I realized I had forgotten the MAF sensor plug, the first proper start went as if the engine was always in the car and was just run the day before. (Being my first engine swap, bleeding the coolant system was a bear, but I got it done through frequent revisiting for a week or so.) I had to chase down an apparent lean condition, which had nothing to do with the engine. (Exhaust leak around the oxygen sensors – test exhaust connections by pressurizing the tailpipes with a shop vac on the blow side and spray soapy water on the connections.) I am back to driving my car and finally have the car I THOUGHT I bought 5 years ago - a fun, reliable car, with no oil leaks or oil consumption. I live several hours away, so, after calling with a couple questions, I purchased from the listing and got freight delivery. (Check up on the freight delivery; they need an appointment for everything.) I am very pleased and will purchase here again, should the need arise.
I bought a couple (maybe 5 total?) jdm turbo/non-turbo engines from this place over the last couple years, most of them were good and still run. It’s in your best interest to physically go there and inspect the engines they have in stock, and pick the cleanest one possible. Most of the engines I got from here are good, 1 had leaky exhaust valves (found out after it was installed unfortunately). But JDM engine honored their warranty and replaced it.
Another note bring your own compression tester and starter/flywheel to spin the motor. The one they have here absolutely SUCKS and takes hours to recharge. You think by now they’d invest in something better? It’s literally been this same tester/old battery for years and never works…
My experience was her good. The customer service was great. Was a very neat and organized establishment. Everything I saw was clean no oil spots anywhere. The gentleman that attended me Andrew I believe his name was very nice and efficient. All the instructions for return or warranty were very clear . The Establishment was in a nice private area and I was out of there within 10 min of getting there. So 👍👍 up for this place so far the whine looks good and clean can't wait till it's on the car and see how it runs. Will update when it's on
Bought a Toyota engine from them a few months back and forgot to leave this review. Drove the car from PA to FL about a month after I swapped it, not a single issue. These guys really know what they're doing/talking about.
I recently got a engine from them for 2000$ for a 08 Subaru and I drove it as much as 3 to 6 miles a day to work and back the engine was said to be a low mileage engine with 30 to 55 thousand miles on it I drove it one morning and the whole engine and piston arms completely broke 2 of them from what I see so far I called to talk to someone to see what they could do and they said nothing so hopefully no one has the same problems as me
I BOUGHT AND ENGINE FOR MY 2008 HONDA RIDGELINE 3.5 liter WITH BETWEEN 55-65K AS THEY ADVERTISED IT , I DROVE MY MY TRUCK LESS THAN A THOUSAND MILES AND THEN THE ENGINE BLEW THE CRANK GEAR AS I WAS DRIVING IT, IT SHRED THE TIMING BELT I REALLY HAVE TO SECOND GUESS MY SELF IF THESE ENGINE REALLY ARE LOW MILEAGE. AS FOR MY OLD ENGINE IT HAD 170K AND THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH IT WAS BURNING OIL AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE CRANK GEAR SO MY CONCLUSION WITH THESE MOTORS FROM JDM ENGINES ARE THEY REALLY LOW MILES ENGINE I REALLY DOUBT IT WILL NEVER PURCHASE AGAIN.
Bought a exhaust on their eBay page for a s13 but doesn't fit. item is not as described and now they won't even respond to my messages terrible business .
Very good place to buy engines from. I recently purchased an engine as well as transmission from here and unfortunately the engine was bad. There was water inside that caused the internals to rust. Seems pretty bad right? Well they took it back no problem and gave me a refund. Honest people and if they had another in stock I would have no problem buying from them again.

We bought a EJ201 engine today from them. They had a great selection, good staff and were really easy to work with. The hardest part of the transaction was Philly traffic. I highly recommend them, the selection of body parts and drivers is amazing!
From Camden NJ..... I purchased a 2004 Acura TL Transmission from this place and was kind of skeptic about this place at first so I took a shoot and brought the "Transmission" I put it on about a week ago and it run's and shift really smooth... They have so much to choose from and would definitely recommend anyone here... If anyone need's any "Honda Engine's" or "Transmission's" but they also have way more to choose from, this the spot for it...
Purchased a type r front clip today I dealt with dean who was very helpful & knowledgeable. They have a ton of used authentic Jdm parts in great condition. Their pricing is great everything is reasonably priced no crazy marked up prices like some places. The warehouse was very clean and organized. I will definitely be a repeat customer would recommend to anyone looking for authentic used jdm parts.

Called Friday morning for a transmission and picked it up on Saturday. Dean was in the shop working on a customer engine swap and was incredibly nice. We chatted for a good 20 minutes and he let me wander around while he got back to the swap. Perfect buying experience.

I called to order my 2JZGTE and spoke to Dean. He uploaded the compression test video and emailed the link to me within a couple of hours. The whole process was very smooth and the engine wss clean and fired right up when I floor tested it. Dean is super responsive. Great customer service. I'd recommend JDM Engine PA to friends.
