really was not expecting to have such a great time at a dump lol but here we are! the process was extremely smooth and the staff were all friendly and kind. we called in advance to make sure we knew what we were getting in to and they walked us through every step. we ended up paying about $125 for 2400 lbs and did have to make a cash deposit of about $150 on entry because we were using a uhaul.

Cashier weight my truck after I step out of truck many times. That is about 10 dollars more each time according to my weight. She is not honest. Weight the truck after you step out the truck is considering your whole body is trash dumpling in the yard, that is impolite
Bad customer service and a confusing policy, I had a U haul needed to dispose some trash asked for 540 upfront and cash only . What difference does it make if it's rental or personal truck. Trash is trash.
The operation manager is great there, we arrived 1 minute late after closing, other employees didn’t want to let us in and he stepped up and let us in and was really respectful about it. Really recommend the place specially with people like him working there!
Convenient place to dump demo waste if you can manage somewhere close to a ton of waste. However, their website says "Major Credit Cards Accepted." Cash is required if driving a rental truck. This is something that should probably be added to their website.....
Burns and Co. Is the best hands down for getting rid of construction debris, busted up concrete & dirt (clean fill), just about everything you want to get rid of at the most reasonable price in the city !! They are the cheapest and best price. Always have been. Full service. In this day and age, recycling is necessary. They recycle almost everything. Need a dumpster ? They have it ! Delivered and picked up. No worries. Burns is a family owned business. I've known them for many years. With a family business you're gonna get better service. Keep up all the hard work Burns & Co. !!
I went to Revolution Recovery first since that’s what I saw first online and they told me they have a $200 box truck surcharge which is ridiculous I then found Burns & Co. I was weighted and told I had to pre pay $620 upfront in cash and the difference once I was weight again would be refunded I didn’t have enough cash on me and was told to go out and come back in when I have that amount. I was able to empty a 26’ Uhaul with the 3 people in 48 mins and was able to pull back up right before closing. Overall the procees was okay the only problem I have is the “Cash only policy for Uhaul trucks which is ridiculous in this day and age and also not having an atm on the premises. I was directed to go to the beer distributors up the block and sure enough the atm was out of service and I then I had to go to the laundry mat…. Definitely a barbaric business practice in the 21st century.
Before calling I was told I would be weighed then when leaving re- weighed &!pay the difference. However, when I got their I was told I had to pay ahead of time And that it was going to cost about $500. When all I was dropping off was clean dirt & it was no where near 4 tons as they stated. Never going here again. A bunch of crooks.
If I could give them zero stars, I would. Management is horrible. Undermind the employees. They treat them unfairly. They fire people for no apparent reason. No warnings given what so ever. I cannot support a company is so unethical & distasteful
I don't like to write reviews but this place made my day this morning. First time I came here today because my usual place was full and it was awesome, they gave me pretzels w/ mustard when I rolled in and a bottle of water on the way out! I had a full load a little less then a ton and it was $100. My other places charges me $125 for the same amount and no cool people, snacks and water. I was impressed and it did make my day, everyone was awesome, on point, and the unloading was organized and easy, had my own little bay, not the same for any other place. My new go to spot.

Great service a lot of help and open later than most for a Saturday the only complaint I have is it was 80 a ton at an 80 minimum for concrete where I normally got it’s 36 a ton
Today, Thursday 19th of April dumped 700 lbs at a cost of $100. Considering for the ravaging rise in inflation better today than tomorrow. Always excellent service in and out. Got a free soft pretzel with mustard made the pinch a little more tolerable.

I like there hours of operation. You will definitely be getting a flat tire and utilizing the fix a flat place across the street. There have the highest prices in the city.
Asked them for a price to dispose of one toilet bowl since I live close by. They told me it is $100 per ton. I said it hardly weighs a ton, probably just 50 lbs, then they replied their minimum fee is $90. What amount of labor on a toilet bowl justifies $90 disposal fee?
Our company was a frequent customer at this facility in Philadelphia. Arrived at 7 this morning only to be told we must now have $188 cash in order to enter and unload. Not to pay for the load just for them to hold and it must be cash. New policy and no notice or warning was given. Now we have to leave, go to an atm and have cash to enter if we decide to go back. Well, we will be finding a different faculty because our unloaded and loafers are out daily and they used the business cards for transactions. This is a huge inconvenience for businesses and the drivers being sent to unload.
Why would your company cross a Union picket line? And from what Ive been reading, it happens several times a week so this isn't just something you could say is a mistake or misunderstanding. After using your company in the past and satisfied with the results, numerous times over the years, I have to say that I will no longer use your services. I will be passing the information to my other associates as well.
