They did a wrong service and refused to answer how to make a complaint. They don't even have cameras in the workshop to review their mistake. Last time to visit.
I towed my Subaru there for a diagnostic due to the At Temp/Oil light strobing. They told me I needed a new transmission, noted that the transmission fluid was clean, looked new. Towed the car to Subaru since the transmission was under warranty.
Subaru found that both the transmission fluid and coolant were both the wrong color (different Firestone, different state). Had the transmission not been under warranty, I would have believed this diagnosis for the several thousands of dollars and several weeks it would take for them to install a new one. This Firestone did not follow through on reimbursement so I disputed the charge on my credit card. There were hotel and transportation expenses related to this incompetence--refunding the completely erroneous diagnostic charge was the least they should have done without my having insist.
Communicative and helpful through every step, setting up an appointment with them for a car service was quick and easy. Straight to the point and all concerns were addressed. Updates given throughout the day as they said they would do.
The front desk was a disaster, but the technician stepped in to the rescue!
The reviews for this store are highly polarized. The front desk staff (I won't name them) were extremely unprofessional, spouting nonsense.
However! We must praise the maintenance technician. He is the real professional.
Summary: If you come to this store, you should avoid that dishonest front desk staff who only wants to deceive you.
Firestone has never put me in a bad situation. The communication has always been clear and the service is always phenomenal. I bring my car here because I truly trust these great mechanics. They are a solid team of people and I’d recommend them to anyone in need without question. The level of humanity on top of the service is A1. I’m grateful.
Been coming to Firestone for over 10 years. They always get all my vehicles right. They have great customer service and take their time with your vehicle. Highly recommend the Algin Street location.
Staff and service here is top notch on point and fast..never had an issue with their work! I bring all my work vans here cause I know the job is done correct..no complaints...
Price was not told to me over the phone (PA State Inspection). The 5000-mile exempt from PA emissions, I should have only paid for the sticker. I was charged for the emissions test that was not preformed. I feel like I was ripped off because of this. I asked to see the PA state regulations stating that this was OK. I was not shown anything. They did provide a Veterans discount and added a coupon to bring the price down some. That was appreciated.
I was shopping around for a new place to take care of my car and stumbled upon this firestone. I dont know too much about cars but Bryan and Ada did a good job explaining what it needed and the technicians took care of my car really quick. Would come back again. Rob took care of my car really quick
My radiator broke while on the freeway and I was terrified that my car was done for. Luckily I brought it to this Firestone and I was able to get my car fixed fast and easy. I’m super grateful for Robert who was able to find the issue quickly and get it fixed ASAP. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Overall had a great experience and now my car is as good as new. Have always gotten all my maintenance work done here as well. Will always rely on this place for my car.
Had to tow my truck here one day when my brakes stopped working on the way home. Bryan set me up for an inspection and Axel took care of the repairs for my vehicle. After replacing front and rear brakes and getting a fluid exchange my trucks never felt better
I won’t come here again.. gentleman in the front with glasses was cool.. But I didn’t get done what I came in for. I paid for a service to get a vehicle look over and it was done so lack luster. Things went unnoticed. I informed the team of other things I notice about the vehicle but… they did not even check it.
I used to like Firestone but I’ll go elsewhere …
So professional. You go for tire rotation, they won’t tell you for the same price you could do comprehensive checkup with it. They won’t tell you if there is a flat spot or tire damage on the tires they are rotating. You go for tire rotation, they will do that only, ignore everything else. Very professional and accurate service.
I am here to give you my review I took my BMW to these guys to get all four tires changed. I came in with no issues once the car was done. I left. I caught a flat instantly. These guys cracked my rim and act like they didn’t Then mentioned that the tire slipped off the machine these guys are bad business. They said they will call me back and never did. I have to keep reaching out to figure out what’s going on. I’m currently on a Spare rim and I need my Vehicle back on the road as soon as possible
Had a tire pop on my brand new 2025 Acadia after I hit a manhole that was open that I did not see! My husband called Firestone, at Cottman and Castor, and spoke with Kevin who told me to come in at 1:30 (this was around 12 noon when he called). I got there at 1:30 and he was super personable. I sat there for about an hour and a half total. They put a brand new tire on for me and put the spare away in the trunk; they also disposed of the old tire for $5. Cost just under $300 total, which is fair considering its a brand new car. Other places tried to charge me almost double! Overall, it was a seamless transaction and I recommend them! Thanks Kevin! I took my vehicle to a place that I have been going to for many years and my last visit they wanted to charge me $2000. I heard great things about Firestone so I came here for a second opinion and the manager, Jay was not only helpful, but honest and saved me money that I really didn't need to spend. I will be bringing my vehicle here all the time now!
I had exceptional service here. Ada did and an amazing job helping me out with exactly what I needed and I was in and out! big shout out to her. I definitely will be coming back if anything else happens and I will for sure be asking for ada.
It was a very busy day-and a very hot day- in Philadelphia, but we were welcomed with a smile and a positive, "glad you chose Firestone" attitude.

the service was fantastic. best car car shop in the north hemisphere. kevin was a lot of help when i needed my tires changed. my new all season tires allow me to see all my side bihs all year. the info they provided me was so helpful that my side bihs are telling their side bihs to come here too. 10/10 would recommend.
I’ve been taking my 2016 Jeep Compass to Firestone for the past 5-6 years. I was taking it there when Mike was the store manager and now I’m still there with Ada as the store manager. Both managers made sure the techs took great care of my car and they both have great customer service. Made me feel like family there. I always recommend Firestone to my friends and family when they need work done on their cars. I won’t take my car anywhere else
I needed a new tire. I went in without an appointment because a different shop canceled my appointment. Bryan was very friendly and accommodating. He gave me the price for the new tire and fees up front and gave an accurate estimate for time to complete service. There was only on technician on at the time, but I was in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes. The waiting area was comfortable. The shop was clean and we'll maintained. Pricing was fair. I will definitely return the next time I need service.
My overly concerned wife was adamant about getting her 36,674K oil changed on her Camry. So much so, that she couldn't wait for an appointment with the usual Toyota dealership where she normally goes. I told her about this Firestone location that could probably do it with a shorter wait time for an appointment.
Upon checkout, she was warned about potentially not passing the state inspection due in March '25 to low treadware on 4 tires and worn break shoes throughout. But I told her to pay for the synthetic oil change and take the car home.
Two weeks passed and I decided to visit my friend who is an ASE Certified Master Tech having 30 years experience with Faulkner Auto Group and solicited some advice on the state of wear on the purported parts. The car was lifted, all four tires removed and inspected. Final verdict, the car can easily go another 10k + with brakes and another year with tires.
While on the lift, he noticed some oil deposit on the oil filter access panel and removed the four plastic screw to look at the engine and oil filter. As I stood there and watched the panel drop down you can actually see that it was saturated with oil. My friend took a flashlight to the oil filter and showed me oil buildup around it with visible sign of leaking from not being installed tight enough. He cleaned the access panel and the oil from the engine bay, checked the level and sent me home.
I just want to caution customers to be vigilant and ask this specific location to retrain your technicians.
Long story - short versiob - Oil gasket problem, Crack in the cover, new one ordered, was told can drive short distance, engine smoked, car caught on fire, totalled. Car was a total loss, got a call week later, part is in, bring the car in, told them it blew up, NEVER heard from anyone at Firestone
The messed up my brake job. Went back (stupidly on my part) a second time and they messed it up a second time. Go elsewhere. Trust me.
The attached image is of my drum shoes after getting them replaced at this shop. They were not installed correctly and wore down extremely fast. Had to pay to get them replaced AGAIN.
Update: They put the wrong size shoe which is why they wore down so fast. I don’t know how you can mess that up on a Honda Civic which is a fairly common car. AGAIN, please go elsewhere!!!
